"Fairchild, are you leaving Veldtmar tonight?"
Damian Fairchild: "What's this? Is Miss Yara going to miss me?"
Seraphina Quinn was speechless for a moment.
She took a deep breath and said, "Fairchild, let's discuss a partnership."
The man's tone was leisurely. "Oh? I'm listening."
Seraphina Quinn said, "Luminous Media is my life's work. It's like a child I've carefully nurtured. I don't want to see it die in the cradle before it has a chance to grow. So, I hope you can show some mercy, Fairchild."
Perhaps the man had long expected her to compromise, so he wasn't surprised by her sudden change in attitude.
His voice was calm, without a single ripple. "Does Miss Yara have any bargaining chips to negotiate with me?"
Seraphina Quinn took a deep breath and enunciated each word clearly.
"Didn't you want me to become Master Fairchild's godmother? I agree. But on one condition: you cannot obstruct the development of Luminous Media."
The man let out an ambiguous, low chuckle.
