The Grassland Riders and Grassland Warriors, fighters accustomed to galloping across the vast plains, finally felt the solid backs of their warhorses beneath them once more.
They gripped the reins tightly, eager to display their might!
During the previous defensive battle, their role had been severely limited. They could only watch helplessly as the infantry and archers fought on the walls, unable to contribute as they should.
This had been a source of immense frustration for them. Their warhorses, as if sensing their masters' anxiety, stomped their hooves restlessly, yearning for a charge.
Now, they finally had a chance to show their true strength.
The Cavalry gathered at the city gate. As soon as the passage was mostly clear, they would be the first to charge out and teach the enemy the meaning of war with their Riding Spears and lances, their sabers and bows!
