"Is this because of the baby?"
"No, it's because of you." Ryan Sterling met her gaze, his own unwavering, the fierce emotion in his eyes impossible to conceal. "From beginning to end, the only one I've ever wanted is you! The child... I want this child because it's *our* child!"
Evelyn Grant wanted to say something.
She wanted to convince Ryan Sterling to give up on her.
