Wen Qian sighed softly in resignation. She raised a hand and gently stroked his cascading red hair, her fingertips gliding through the silky strands.
As if greatly soothed, the man immediately buried his head deeper into the crook of her neck. He pressed his entire body tightly against hers, as if trying to merge himself into her.
After just a moment, however, Wen Qian steeled her heart and pushed him away.
The man's brow furrowed instantly. His golden pupils filled with displeasure and grievance as he stared straight at her, his gaze a silent accusation.
Wen Qian was momentarily at a loss for words. A faint blush crept onto her cheeks. She pointed a finger at the man's lower body, then nonchalantly turned her face away, her voice tinged with unease. "You're not wearing any clothes."
"Oh."
The man responded casually, but instead of backing away, he pressed close to her again.
