After that, the brothers all returned to their rooms in silence.
In the afternoon, D'shun went out for a little jog to stay in shape and relieve the stress that had built up during the week.
D'shun: "Huff… huff… Phew… running always feels good," he said while running along the street.
Nahym, on the other hand, was in the bathroom taking care of some… personal business… well, we're not going into details…
As for Emmanuel, he was still in his room on his phone, playing Call of Duty.
Emmanuel: "Pew pew, take that, losers hahaha," he said while lying on his bed.
Around six in the evening, D'shun was still running. He had run all the way to a pastry shop. He couldn't resist, so he went in and bought himself a delicious chocolate, vanilla, and hazelnut ice cream. After enjoying it, he resumed his run to go back home. It was already getting late, and it was starting to get dark, so he had to pick up the pace.
D'shun: "Ah! If I had known, I wouldn't have bought that ice cream, slurp!" he said, licking his lips.
Nahym, tired from his eventful afternoon, ordered a pizza with bacon, cheese, and smoked sausage, along with a large bottle of soda. Then he locked himself in his room.
Neither of them noticed that Emmanuel still hadn't come back.
Maybe they thought he was in his room, but no… he wasn't there.
Now it was ten at night. The sky was already dark, and D'shun was still outside. He couldn't find his way back in this big city. There was almost no one left outside, and all the stores were already closed. D'shun wasn't afraid, but he was worried.
At one point, exhausted, he decided to take a break on a bench. It was really cold, and he was only wearing shorts and a tank top.
D'shun: "Brrr… it's freezing here… cough cough… it's okay, I'm sure my brothers noticed I'm gone," he said, his lips turning blue and his body freezing.
Exhausted, he lay down on the bench, and without even realizing it, he fell asleep. What would happen to him?
Seconds, minutes, and hours passed… until morning. The sun rose.
Clack! Nahym was the first to wake up. He left his room and, as every morning, brushed his teeth, took a shower, and prepared a big breakfast. After finishing, he went back to his room to sleep again.
Then, clack! Around ten o'clock, it was Emmanuel's turn to wake up. He left his room, brushed his teeth, took a long, scented shower, had a greasy breakfast, then watched a cartoon to digest. After that, he did his morning stretches and went back to his room to play Call of Duty on his computer.
Again, seconds, minutes, and hours passed. It was now three in the afternoon, but neither of the brothers had noticed D'shun's absence.
Are they really brothers who care about each other!?
And what happened to D'shun !?
