Chapter 1:
The Dawn of a New World
The sky was not black…
It was a deep blue—so deep that gazing into it, one could lose oneself entirely.
There was a strange stillness in the air… yet, hidden within that silence, lay a palpable fear.
And in that very void… stood a boy.
"So… this is the world?"
He murmured softly to himself.
His name was—Aarav.
But in this world… no one knew him by that name.
Until just moments ago…
Aarav had been an ordinary human being.
Possessing no special powers, nor any distinct identity.
There was just one thing—
He had always felt as though he did not belong to this world.
And today… he had found his answer.
Suddenly, the air before him began to ripple.
As if some invisible force were acknowledging his presence.
"Welcome… to your own creation."
A voice resonated.
Deep… heavy… and strangely familiar.
Aarav looked around.
"Who's there?"
No one was in sight.
But then…
A vision materialized before him.
Four vast lands—
Four distinct realms.
Above each realm, energy of a different color glowed.
In the North—The Realm of Fire (Red; burning energy)
In the South—The Realm of Water (Blue; deep and serene)
In the East—The Realm of Air (White; swift and unseen)
In the West—The Realm of Earth (Green; heavy and steadfast)
"These four… abide by your rules."
The voice resonated once more.
Aarav's eyes narrowed.
"My rules?"
"You are the… 'God' of this world."
For a brief moment… time stood still.
Aarav laughed.
"Is this a joke?"
But then—
The air around his hand began to twist and swirl.
Without a second thought… he simply willed it—
"Fire…"
And within his palm, a small flame ignited.
That flame was no ordinary fire. There was something about it…
Something he himself couldn't quite comprehend.
His heart began to pound.
"This… is real…"
"But remember one thing."
The voice suddenly turned grave.
"If you use your true power…
this world will not accept you."
Aarav's expression hardened.
"What do you mean?"
"You are the Creator of this world…
but now, you are an outsider here."
"If you reveal your identity…
the balance will shatter…
and the Four Kings… will turn against you."
Aarav fell silent.
He gazed out at the four kingdoms.
"So… I must live in hiding?"
"Or… play the game."
The voice spoke softly.
And then…
everything vanished.
*Thud!*
Aarav hit the ground.
"Oof—"
He opened his eyes.
He now found himself in a forest.
Dense trees…
strange sounds…
and a peculiar energy hanging in the air.
"So… this is the beginning."
He murmured, slowly rising to his feet.
Just a short distance away…
he heard voices.
"Help!"
A girl's scream.
Aarav immediately sprinted in that direction.
In the heart of the forest…
three men stood surrounding a girl.
Their clothes… their weapons… everything about them was distinct.
"Don't even think about running… no one is coming to save you here,"
one of the men sneered, laughing.
The girl was backing away…
the fear in her eyes was palpable.
Aarav came to a halt.
He took a deep breath.
"If I use my power… then…"
He clenched his fists tight.
"But…"
A cold resolve settled in his eyes.
"I cannot simply stand by and watch."
The very next instant—
he surged forward.
Before the first man could even react—
*Thud!*
Aarav's fist slammed into his face.
The man crumpled to the ground. The other two were startled.
"Who are you?!"
Aarav said nothing.
He simply looked at them.
In his eyes… there was something different.
As if he were not merely human.
The fight didn't last very long.
In just a few seconds…
All three lay sprawled on the ground.
The girl stood silently.
Her breathing was rapid.
"Who… are you?"
She asked softly.
Aarav remained silent for a few moments.
Then, with a faint smile, he spoke—
"Just… an adventurer."
The girl studied him closely.
There was no fear in her eyes now.
There was something else…
Curiosity.
"My name… is Mira."
It was the first time Aarav had heard her name.
And in that moment—
Something shifted.
Even he didn't quite understand it himself…
But a faint stirring arose within his heart.
High in the distant sky…
The energies of the four kingdoms trembled for a fleeting instant.
As if someone… had touched the balance.
And somewhere… far away…
Four kings, seated upon four thrones…
Opened their eyes in unison.
"He has arrived…"
Deep within the forest…
Aarav gazed up at the sky.
"This world…"
He murmured softly—
"Is about to get interesting."
