Keifer's POV:
My beautiful girl was standing there, waiting to board.
I took her hand and asked, "Jay, are you nervous?"
She looked nervous. "Nervous? Me? HAHA, what do you mean by nervous?" she scoffed.
Liar, liar, pants on fire.
We entered and got our seats. Luckily, our seats were near each other.
April, Ci-N, and Felix were together. They were in the seats before us. Near me was a woman. I let Jay sit in the window seat.
My fingers were still laced with hers.
The flight took off. Jayjay looked at our hands.
Tangled like nothing really mattered.
Jayjay's POV:
30 minutes have passed since the departure. Keifer wasn't really awake. He was already half-asleep. His eyelids drooped.
He stayed up until 1 AM yesterday. Said he was too busy telling Keigan and Keiren to take care. At 1 AM, really?
He looked cute. So cute that I felt like choking him. Control yourself, Jayjay. You're not a murderer. I cared about him really.
He was the only thing I could never lose.
But why?
They said I should be a whys person to be a wise person. But the context is really wrong. I don't want to feel like I'm not his.
I am his. He is mine.
The air hostess came up to our seat, and she first asked the woman at the corner if she wanted food. She just asked for a water bottle, nothing else.
She looked at Keifer sleeping. She looked at him for a solid three seconds.
Is she admiring him? Or?
I snapped her from whatever state she was in. She looked at our hands, tangled.
She said, "Oh, sorry.. would you like to eat something, ma'am?"
"No thanks," I said, "Nothing for him, too."
She went to Ci-N seat, being a kid he was, he ordered really sweet food.
Why did she look at him like that? She has no right to.
You're getting possessive, Jay. Stop it.
Right.
Calm, Jay.
I looked out the window, and the beautiful view of Manila was down there. I just admired his face and the view of my city at once.
The flight was peaceful. Though there were a lot of people in the plane, it just felt like the world had shrunk to just him and me.
Without even knowing, I had slept too. It was an evening flight, and the flight was dim. My body just thought it was time to sleep.
I woke up suddenly, feeling someone tap my arm, almost as if they were fidgeting.
I open my eyes to see Keifer sitting beside me, watching a movie—headphones in his ears.
He was playing with my hair. And his hand slightly touched my arm every time he did.
It was 10:45, 10 minutes for our landing.
"Everyone, please fasten your seatbelts! We're landing in 10!"
Keifer took his headphones off and smirked at me.
"Good sleep?" He asked.
Oh, now I'm meme material. I'm done.
"Yuri, you landed? Is Mom there? AYO- Oh, okay, wait bye, labyu." April's voice was calm. She slept too, I guess. Her voice was groggy.
