Chapter 12 - Chapter 12: The Weaver of Seven Dimensions

"Since the dawn of eternity, we, the Sorcerers of Time and Space, have stood as the silent sentinels of the realms. Our purpose was sacred: to guard the thin veils between worlds and extinguish the fires of aggression before they consumed existence. Each of us is born bearing a celestial Mark—a seal of power granted only to those who survive the grueling Trial of the Eternal Lord, the one who has breathed since the very birth of humanity."

The Sorceress paused, her voice resonating with an ancient, haunting authority. "As eons flowed, the poison of ambition seeped into the hearts of men, sparking a hunger to dominate the human realms. To preserve the sanctity of the lands from the desecration of darkness, the Eternal Lord fractured reality. He divided the cosmos into four distinct dimensions, each governed by its own immutable laws of time and space. The Second Dimension was carved for the humans—fragile and fleeting. The Fourth was claimed by the Vampires. But the First Dimension... that is the abyss of demons, a realm fueled by raw desire, eternal warfare, and unadulterated evil. As for the sanctuary of magic, it resides within the Seventh Dimension—the realms of the Fourth and above—where consciousness reaches its zenith and purity is the absolute law."

She looked toward the horizon of stars before continuing: "We lived in a state of sublime peace until a cataclysmic rift tore through the fabric of time. One of our own sorcerers struck a forbidden pact with the Demon Lord. We were plunged into a war so savage it threatened to uproot the foundations of the universe. It ended only when the traitor and the demon were entombed within a dimension of infinite shadows. There was silence... until the prophecy stirred. Two princesses were born into the vampire world; one beneath the ethereal glow of the Silver Moon, and the other under the crimson shadow of the Blood Moon. Now, the Eternal Lord has moved once more. A new rift has bled into reality. War is no longer a shadow—it is an inevitability. But the fate of all remains shrouded in mystery."

Violet felt a chilling paralysis seize her limbs. The weight of the revelation was a physical burden. "So... you are a Sorceress of Time and Space?" she whispered, her voice trembling. "Is that why you reached out to save me on that fateful day?"

"Indeed," the Sorceress replied with a solemn nod. "I recognized the stirrings of the prophecy within your aura. It became my destiny to become your compass."

Violet looked at her, her violet eyes shimmering with a desperate hope. "There is a human—a man who hunts me, yet he holds the key to the truth. I must reach the sanctuary written on the back of this photograph. Can you guide me to him?"

The Sorceress gazed at her with a profound, unreadable depth. She knew with absolute certainty that the fates of Violet and Lord Maximilian were already entwined, bound together by a golden thread of destiny that no blade could sever. "Very well," she murmured. "But for today and the morrow, you shall remain within these walls. We must fortify your protection. Go now, cleanse yourself; a grueling odyssey awaits us at dawn."

The chambers were a testament to celestial opulence, overlooking a vista of stars where the beauty of the cosmos was breathtaking. Crystalline water descended from the unseen heights of the higher dimensions, and the moon hung colossal and radiant in the velvet sky. Violet stepped into the bath beneath the silver luminescence. As the water cascaded over her skin, she surrendered to the haunting memory of Maximilian's kiss. She dived deep into the echoes of his presence, feeling a surge of warm, radiant emotions embrace her heart amidst the cold uncertainty of the coming war.
