Chapter 144 - Chapter 144

For a moment, everything fell silent.

The man who had previously remained unnamed—the magnetic villain from earlier—now revealed as Kanzaki Jin, froze in shock. His expression stiffened as the aftermath of the attack finally registered in his mind. He hadn't even been able to react.

The others nearby also grew serious. At first, seeing that the opponent had lost most of his body, they had assumed he posed little threat. But now, it was clear—despite having only one arm left, the power he wielded was still overwhelming. That single display of force shattered any illusions they had. Even their cautious thoughts began to fade in the face of such terror.

"Kill him."

All For One pointed toward Shina Etsuha in the sky and gave the order coldly.

At that moment, Susanoo struck again. The Totsuka Blade descended like a burning arc of flame from above. All For One didn't dare take it head-on. He expanded his remaining arm to its limit, bracing himself as his body surged forward explosively. His fist slammed into Susanoo's form!

Etsuha's expression sharpened. His Sharingan locked onto every movement. The instant All For One closed the distance, Etsuha raised the Yata Mirror to meet the attack.

The shield collided with the massive arm.

In that instant, All For One felt something was wrong.

The shield… absorbed his power.

"This… is it reflecting it?!"

Shock rippled through him. He had once created Nomu with reflection abilities, but even those could barely withstand a single blow from All Might. Yet this small, radiant shield had completely neutralized his enhanced strike.

Realizing the danger, All For One tried to retreat—but it was too late.

The Yata Mirror erupted with blinding light.

A shockwave burst forth—identical in scale and force to his own attack—and crashed into him.

If he still had his legs, he might have escaped. But now, with his body crippled, he had no chance.

The blast struck.

Boom!

All For One's body was hurled from the air like a cannon shell, slamming into the ground with devastating force. The impact flattened the surrounding buildings, sending shockwaves rippling across a kilometer-wide radius. The ground itself caved inward, forming a massive crater.

At the center of it all, All For One lay embedded in the earth, his body battered and bleeding. His skin split under the pressure, blood seeping from countless wounds. Only through layered defensive quirks had he avoided being completely annihilated.

Nearby, Moonfish fared far worse. The shockwave grazed his arm, and in an instant, the force shattered it completely, bones splintering without resistance.

The remaining villains went pale.

This wasn't a fight.

This was a clash of gods.

"…In this situation… who are we even supposed to side with?"

Kanzaki Jin hesitated, his voice tense. Even as a criminal, survival came first. Choosing the wrong side here meant certain death.

Not far away, Dabi had already begun to retreat. His gaze lingered on the boy in the sky, filled with deep wariness, before he slipped quietly into the shadows.

At that moment, All For One roared:

"What are you hesitating for? That boy is a Hero!"

"A Hero?!" Kanzaki Jin's eyes widened in disbelief. Aside from All Might, how could someone possess this level of power?

And yet—the figure in the sky was only a teenager.

If he were allowed to grow… the consequences would be unimaginable.

After a brief moment of calculation, Kanzaki Jin acted decisively.

He activated his Quirk.

A magnetic force spread outward, binding Moonfish and Twice within its range. Instantly, their bodies repelled each other violently, launching them straight toward All For One!

Twice had no time to react, his face filled with confusion as he was flung forward uncontrollably.

"Hmph. Helping someone like you? Don't make me laugh."

Kanzaki Jin sneered, raising his middle finger toward them. In a situation like this, only a fool would stay and fight. Survival meant escape—not becoming cannon fodder.

But at that very moment—

Etsuha descended.

His body streaked downward from the sky, a cold blue aura surrounding him. Raising both hands, he summoned a colossal icicle—over thirty meters long—which crashed toward the ground like a falling pillar of ice!

All For One had nowhere to run.

He thrust his arm forward, unleashing compressed air that shattered the icicle into fragments.

Using that moment, he propelled himself upward again, reaching Etsuha's altitude. With a flick of his wrist, he fired another air cannon directly at Susanoo.

Bang!

Cracks spread across Susanoo's skeletal frame.

But Etsuha was faster.

In a blur, the Totsuka Blade slashed from the side—its burning edge cutting straight toward All For One.
