Chapter 67 - Chapter 67

"…Huh?!"

Shina Etsuha froze in shock.

Mt. Lady?!

Before he could even process it, a tall figure stepped into the room—wearing a sleek outfit and a purple half-mask.

"Hello, everyone. I'm Mt. Lady. I'll be in charge of your activities for the next few days," she said with a warm, charming smile—so gentle that there wasn't even a hint of her usual bold personality.

"So beautiful…!"

For many of the students, this was their first time seeing her in person. Faced with such a mature and attractive Pro Hero, their eyes lit up instantly.

Aizawa Shouta noticed the starry-eyed expressions on the second-years' faces and immediately crushed their fantasies.

"This activity won't take place at U.A., and it's not for the second-year students who stayed behind for make-up classes. It's a special training program for the recommended students—meant to help them adapt to U.A. life more quickly."

After all, there was still plenty of time before official enrollment began. Since the recommended students had already passed their exams, they didn't need to attend regular classes. This activity was essentially a training camp—focused entirely on them.

Naturally, it had nothing to do with the second-years.

"…What? Seriously? This has nothing to do with us? That's brutal…"

"Mt. Lady is one of the fastest-rising Pro Heroes among recent graduates. Her strength is definitely top-tier!"

"Our classes are totally different from the juniors'. We can't even join their training…"

"Yeah… we can't learn the same things as them."

"Ugh… back to remedial classes. Life is pain without a junior like Shina around…"

Hearing Aizawa's explanation, the second-year students were visibly disappointed. Their gazes toward Etsuha and the others were filled with envy.

"Then I'll leave the recommended students in your care," Aizawa said to Mt. Lady.

"Understood," she replied with a smile.

"An activity, huh…"

Etsuha's thoughts drifted to a familiar scenario from the original storyline.

There had once been a training camp—supposedly a secret operation. And yet, the League of Villains had known everything. They launched a surprise attack on the students and teachers, exposing a terrifying possibility: there might be a traitor inside U.A.

Even after everything, the story had never clearly revealed whether the traitor came from the students or the faculty.

And now… this situation felt eerily similar.

Would the League act this time?

Etsuha couldn't help but feel uneasy.

Mt. Lady maintained her gentle, big-sister demeanor as she addressed them.

"Alright, everyone—please follow me."

As she spoke, her eyes narrowed ever so slightly. For just a brief moment, her gaze flicked toward Etsuha.

That single glance sent a chill down his spine.

There's definitely something going on…!

He immediately recognized that look. It was the kind of expression that meant trouble—specifically for him.

"Etsuha? Aren't you coming?" Mt. Lady called out with a teasing smile, deliberately emphasizing his name.

"…Coming!" he replied reluctantly, hurrying after her.

"Hmph. Hiding your strength from your big sister, huh? I'll make sure you regret that later," she thought with quiet satisfaction.

The truth was, she had personally applied to oversee this training—just to test Etsuha's abilities.

After leaving the building, they boarded a bus.

This time, however, there were only a few students—two from Class A and one from Class B, including Yaoyorozu Momo and Gojima Ryōzō. The bus felt unusually empty.

Mt. Lady boarded with them, her gaze drifting briefly over Etsuha and Momo before she casually took a seat not too far from him.

"…Big Sis," Etsuha leaned forward and called out.

"Etsuha! You're abandoning the cute girls in your class just to talk to me? That's pretty rude, you know," Mt. Lady said with mock displeasure.

"That's not the issue!" Etsuha cut her off. "No one else knows the location of this training, right?"

His concern was still the same—

The traitor.

Mt. Lady blinked in mild surprise, then answered casually, "Relax. U.A.'s security is among the best in the country. Of course we've considered that."

"…That's good."

Etsuha nodded, at least outwardly reassured. But deep down, he remained wary.

Top-level security, huh…

Let's just hope the traitor doesn't show up this time.

His eyes flickered slightly.

Right now, even the Hero Killer hadn't appeared yet. The League of Villains was still in its early stages—not yet a major force. At best, they were just a group relying on Nomu as their main weapon.

Against first-year students, they were dangerous.

But against a Pro Hero like Mt. Lady? Without deploying a Nomu, they wouldn't stand a chance.

What Etsuha didn't know…

…was that at this exact moment—

The League of Villains had already received the information.
