Chapter 46 - Chapter 46: The GT Finale!

Turles, having achieved the Super Full Power Saiyan 4 Limit Breaker form, turned his gaze toward Omega Shenron.

"Now then, it's time to settle this!"

Feeling Turles' gaze, a fatal sense of crisis welled up within Omega Shenron's heart.

"Impossible!! You're just a wild monkey! How could you possibly be this strong?!"

"Just die already!"

Omega Shenron roared and slammed his massive Minus Energy Power Ball directly toward the Earth.

Turles, wearing an invincible smirk, simply swung his leg. With a casual kick, the Minus Energy Power Ball was deflected, hurtling straight back at its creator.

"What?!"

Omega Shenron watched in utter disbelief as his ultimate technique was swatted away like a toy. His pupils shrank to pinpricks.

"What's wrong? Scared stiff?"

This time, Omega Shenron truly panicked. He frantically fired a barrage of energy beams at Turles.

In the next heartbeat, Turles appeared directly in front of him.

Turles didn't even seem to move, yet deep fist-shaped imprints began to appear all over Omega Shenron's body in a rapid-fire sequence.

As Omega Shenron was sent hurtling into the sky once again, that demonic voice echoed in his ears.

"It's over, Omega Shenron!"

"100x... Kame... hame... ha!"

Turles thrust his hands forward, condensing a massive sphere of blue energy before his chest.

BOOM!

A titanic blue shockwave roared forth, swallowing Omega Shenron and triggering a colossal explosion.

BOOM!

When the smoke cleared, the Dragon Balls that had been embedded in Omega Shenron's chest were blasted free. He reverted to his original, weakened form of Syn Shenron.

"You didn't think you could actually deceive me, did you? I'm not as careless as Gogeta was."

Looking up at Turles, who was already condensing a final Ki Blast in his hand, Syn Shenron let out one last scream of despair.

"NO!!"

The Ki Blast struck him point-blank, incinerating Syn Shenron completely.

With his death, the malevolent aura clouding the Earth vanished. The polluted, dark sky cleared, and warm sunlight bathed the world once more.

"Hubby, you were amazing! And that transformation is so cool!"

Bulma was the first to rush over and throw herself into Turles' arms.

Seeing the battle was over, the others gathered around to celebrate.

"Turles, that form feels even more advanced than Super Saiyan 4," Goku noted, looking a bit dejected. "Man, what a shame. He was gone before I even got to use my full power."

Turles' eye twitched. Not using your full power? You certainly didn't hold back on the Kaioken earlier, but whose fault is it that you spent the whole fight being a jobber?

"Yeah, yeah! Uncle Turles, that transformation is so cool!" Pan chirped, her eyes sparkling with admiration.

Goku felt a pang of jealousy. "Hey, Pan, isn't Grandpa cool too?"

"Grandpa is cool, too."

"Hahahahaha!"

The group shared a moment of genuine laughter. Only Turles felt a bit awkward—Uncle? Suddenly, his seniority in this group had taken a nose-dive.

"Alright, Goku. These are yours."

Turles handed over the seven Dragon Balls he had collected. Goku looked at them with a complicated expression before taking them into his hands.

"Turles, thank you. Honestly, if it wasn't for you guys, we might have really been done for this time."

"It's nothing. I gained a lot from this trip as well."

In this GT timeline, Turles' battle power had multiplied several times over, and Bulma had successfully set foot on the path of a Super Saiyan God. It was a highly productive journey.

"Well, now that the enemies are gone, let's all go to my place for a massive feast!" Bulma announced, waving her hand to lead the group back.

At that moment, the seven Dragon Balls began to glow with a brilliant orange light, floating up into the sky of their own accord.

The sky didn't turn black, and no one had spoken the incantation, yet Shenron manifested before them anyway.

This was the normal, majestic Shenron.

"Wait, what's happening? Why did Shenron appear? We didn't call him."

Everyone was caught off guard. Goku, however, locked eyes with Shenron and seemed to understand something deep within.

"I'm sorry, Shenron. We've caused you a lot of trouble this time."

"Because of your abuse of the Dragon Balls, this disaster occurred," Shenron spoke, his voice booming. "From this day forward, the seven Dragon Balls will vanish from your world completely. They shall not return."

Shenron's nod confirmed the shocking truth to everyone present.

"What? Why? We already defeated the Shadow Dragons!" Pan cried out.

"Pan!" Gohan interjected sternly, stopping her. His gaze remained fixed on his father.

"Is that so? I understand," Goku said softly. "Shenron, please... grant me one last favor."

"Speak."

"Please revive everyone who was killed during the battles with Super 17 and the Shadow Dragons."

"Very well. It shall be done."

Shenron's red eyes flashed. In an instant, every person who had perished in the recent conflicts was restored to life.

However, unlike previous times, after granting the wish, Shenron lowered his head toward Goku.

"It is time to go, Son Goku."

"Right!"

Goku answered. He turned to Gohan, Goten, Chi-Chi, and Pan, giving each of them a final hug before hopping onto Shenron's head.

"Goku!"

"Dad!"

"Grandpa!"

"Kakarot, you don't mean...?"

"Goodbye, everyone!" Goku waved, a serene smile on his face.

Whoosh—

As Shenron began to take flight, he paused, noticing the Miracle Power radiating from Turles. Shenron gave Turles a deep, lingering look, bowing his head in a silent show of respect before carrying Goku away into the horizon.

Turles frowned, wondering what that look from Shenron meant.

Still, he couldn't help but feel a sense of melancholy. Even with his interference and the swift defeat of the Shadow Dragons, he couldn't change the fact that Goku was leaving with Shenron.

Bulma and the local Bulma watched Goku's receding figure with heavy hearts. Memories of their childhood adventures—meeting as kids, hunting for the Dragon Balls, facing countless enemies together—surged back, bringing tears to their eyes.

Vegeta was no different. From his first arrival on Earth and his life-or-death duel with Kakarot, to Planet Namek, Cell, Buu, and their first fusion... as Kakarot vanished, Vegeta felt as if a part of his soul had gone with him.

He looked at his hands and whispered, "I... I'm never fighting again..."

Pan, Chi-Chi, Gohan, and Goten wept as they recalled their own memories of Goku. No one tried to stop him; they simply offered their silent blessings as he moved on to his next journey.

"Shenron, can we stop somewhere first?"

"Where to?"

"Kame House!"

Zip!

Goku landed outside Kame House. Krillin was surprised to see his old friend.

"Oh, Goku! What are you doing here? And... is that Shenron?"

Goku looked at Krillin, his eyes swimming with nostalgia. "Krillin, let's spar one last time!"

Krillin's eye twitched. He almost slapped his friend. Are you even human? Spar with you? You want to slap me all the way to the afterlife in one go?

"Goku, are you serious?"

At that moment, Master Roshi seemed to sense something. Tears began to stream down the old master's face.

"Yeah."

"Alright then."

The two took their stances, and a brief, playful exchange began.

Pow!

Before long, Goku allowed himself to be knocked down by Krillin. Goku laughed heartily.

"You haven't changed a bit. Just like the old days."

Then, Goku vanished into thin air, leaving behind only a faint footprint in the sand.

Next, Goku visited Hell, where he shook hands with Piccolo. Piccolo, too, sensed the truth.

"Thank you for everything, Piccolo. For taking care of me... and Gohan..."

"Son..."

"Goodbye, Piccolo..."

Goku's figure vanished before Piccolo's eyes.

As Goku lay comfortably on Shenron's back, the seven Dragon Balls circled him. One by one, they merged into his body, and together with Shenron, he vanished into the light.
