today was basically about choosing beast weapons and among all the students who were in sergeant Murray's beast weapons class, only two had hit the top of the weekly leader board for best performance and this was simply because they choose the best weapons among every other person who was in the class
holding out his tablets, he read out the names of the top students
" ling Dee and Del Vord Blade " calling out the name he stepped down from the podium and dismissed the class for the day.
the Vord Blade family was a very famous merchant family or at least that was the front they put up. the Vord Blade family was actually the original name of the druids before they acquired holy powers from the druids race but nobody actually knew this because over the years the druids have kept the two identities very distinct and they'd never let a druid member use the Vord Blade name without being under the merchant faction or without being under a secret mission
the Vord Blade name was just a front and a form of cover up name to disguise their undercover agents name and although the Vord blades were wealthy merchants , they weren't so influential in the political aspect but rather well versed in other financial and economical aspects
having this false family operate this way was a way for the druids to control the financial and economical aspects of Earth's faction .
whispers could be heard among the students , they all knew of how influential the blade family was and it wasn't a wonder that she was a VIP student .
she casually walked out of the beast weapon faction avoiding any form of eye contact with anyone , ling walked to his friends and they celebrated his victory , strangely the victory was regarding choosing a weapon .
the two blades were extravagant and short with red color shining brightly, every other person just got happy based on the fact that someone from their group was a top student but ling was more happy with the power up that came with the weapon
no other Pearson actually knew the reason why their first day in the beast weapons class was solely about getting weapons, this was due to the curriculum where students would go on planets expeditions and each of these planets had a lot of resources and potential they'd be facing intermediate tier and advanced tier beasts so they needed to boost up their abilities using beast weapons
it was just a little while left till they had to attend the portal outing which was usually one week after the new recruits came
walking towards the vending machine to grab a cola a girl bumped into ling very abruptly , looking at him she smiled and apologized in a soft tune and walked off in an instant
ling continued his walk towards the machine but it seemed like his head was begining to hurt soon the system popped up a message

[ health will deteriorate every hour till hp is totally diminished except a cure is administered ]

seeing all these messages he was furious, apparently the girl who barged into him innocently had injected some kind of poison into his blood stream and the system didn't seem to be able to fight it , he walked directly to Eden grabbing her by the arm to the corner
" I think I've been poisoned Eden , a girl poisoned me " he stated bluntly
" what do you mean, did you get her face?" she inquired simply
" not really but I got a glimpse , you can look in my head to see her face "
upon saying this Eden placed her hands on his head and she could access his memories from a few minutes ago but nothing more , after confirming the face of the girl she dropped her hands
" apparently you've been poisoned by one of the greatest nemesis of the demon clan , breet root and you should know it takes effect in matter of minutes and if you're not treated within five hours you'd be dead"
Eden was saying things that ling already knew but what he wants right now was a solution to his problems
" we can just go to the medical ward , I'm sure they'd have something to help me out " he smiled optimistically
" I'm afraid that breet root only affects us and nobody knows of this and also even if you went and explained all these it'll only make them know you're a demon descendant and you'd become military lab rat , so to be on the safe side I'd say go to your dorm and stay put I'll send crystal over , using her water abilities she can slow down the poison and buy us time " pausing for a bit before continuing
" this only confirms my suspicions , they have someone here now and they're trying all they can to exterminate you, I'll find that bitch and kill her " she spitted angrily
" when you see her please just bring her to me , I'd like to talk with her "
ling had seen that he wouldn't just try to hurt him without a reason so he wanted to find out who sent her that way he could help her if she was being forced
" no problem ling I'll do that but for now go to your dorm, wed be there in a bit "
