**The Recorded Legacy**
The holographic projection flickered, the blue light casting long, dancing shadows against the walls of the cave. The man in the recording looked tired, his armor cracked, but his eyes held a fire that time couldn't extinguish.
"By the time you see this, my son," the voice crackled, heavy with a father's longing, "you will have grown strong enough to seek me out. You will have walked the path I paved in blood."
The man took a ragged breath. "I have already eliminated more than half of the A-Tier members of the **Phantom Troupe**, but the shadows are closing in on me. A danger far greater than any mercenary is stirring. **Revan**. The prophecy of his awakening was whispered the moment I left you. When I was still with you, Baba Shimura foresaw it—the day the world would tremble. I had to leave. I had to infiltrate their ranks, to gather intelligence, to find a way to stop the inevitable."
The recording stuttered. "I cannot say if I am still breathing as you watch this, Sai. But my mission... it now rests in your hands. Be strong. We shall meet soon, my son."
### **The Fourth Wall**
Sai stood in the silence that followed, his fist clenched so hard his knuckles turned white. From that day on, his destiny was forged in steel. He wouldn't just find his father; he would dismantle the Phantom Troupe piece by piece.
Suddenly, Sai turned, his gaze piercing through the very fabric of the story, looking directly at *you*.
"I know what you're thinking," Sai said, his voice dropping to a low, chilling whisper. "How am I talking to you? How am I breaking the fourth wall? Some secrets are meant to be kept until the right moment. But for now, all you need to know is this: **Revan has awakened.** No one knows his location. No one knows his motive. But the storm is here."
### **The Abandoned Hotel: The Birth of a Nightmare**
To understand the present, we must look back at the ruins of the abandoned hotel where Sai and his friends had taken shelter. In their youthful exuberance and clashing powers, they had unknowingly released a surge of aura. To them, it was just energy. To the entity trapped in the basement, it was a key.
For eight long years, Revan had waited in a state of suspended animation, a prisoner of time. That accidental surge of aura broke the seal.
**Revan was awake.**
But he wasn't the god-like destroyer of legends. He crawled out of the rubble, a frail, withered man. His skin was pale, his ribs showing, and his eyes were hollow. He was, for all intents and purposes, a mere mortal.
*Thak. Thak. Thak.*
The sound of footsteps approached the ruins. A young traveler, passing through the forest, saw the collapsed building and the shivering figure of Revan emerging from the dust.
"Hey! Are you okay?" the boy shouted, rushing forward to help. He offered his shoulder, supporting Revan's weight.
Revan didn't speak. He felt the warmth of the boy's skin and, more importantly, the hum of raw, untapped power within him. A cruel smirk tugged at Revan's parched lips. With a movement as fast as a cobra, he struck a pressure point on the boy's neck.
The boy collapsed, unconscious. Revan sat over him, his hands glowing with a dark, parasitic light. He began to drain the boy's life force and power, feeling his own withered veins swell with stolen energy. Once the boy was a mere shell, Revan stood up, his strength partially restored, and disappeared into the dense fog of the woods.
**The Lingering Shadow**
Deep in the jungle, Sai, Zixu, and Zay were still joking around, unaware of the horror they had just unleashed. In Chapter 9, the sudden chill that Zay and Ron had felt wasn't a ghost—it was the first ripple of **Revan's Aura**.
Revan walked through the shadows, his body still aching, his mind a whirlwind of ancient malice. He didn't know where he was going, but he kept moving. Every step he took brought him closer to the world he intended to burn.
