"And those monsters are called Soul-Devouring Beast. They are inter-dimensional creatures from another dimension that feed on souls and fear!"
"As for that final giant monster, it is named the Dweller-in-Darkness, and it is the commander of those Soul-Devouring Beast!"
"Xu Wenwu, Soul-Devouring Beast, Dweller-in-Darkness..." Mature Wanda chewed on these three names, her confusion not diminishing but deepening instead:
"Since Xu Wenwu is human, why would he cooperate with monsters from another dimension?"
"And how did these inter-dimensional beings pass through the Kamar-Taj Sanctum's array to enter Earth?"
Regarding these two questions, Ryan glanced at Xu Wenwu, who stood atop the Dweller-in-Darkness with vacant eyes and an abnormally pale face, and sneered:
"Cooperate? I think he looks more like a dog for these monsters!"
"As for how they passed through the Earth's Sanctum array, it's because they didn't just arrive on Earth now; they've been here all along!"
"The Dweller-in-Darkness once led the Soul-Devouring Beast to destroy and devour a civilization more advanced than our Earth, and then wanted to continue invading our dimension, attempting to devour the souls of all living beings in our World..."
"However, it ultimately failed. Thousands of years ago, the survivors of that advanced civilization and the Great Protector dragon sealed it and the Soul-Devouring Beast within the Dark Gate located in Ta Lo Village, within the borders of China..."

Thousands of years ago, Earth had actually been invaded by inter-dimensional dark creatures!

The clever Wandas, however, noticed something off in Ryan's words.

"But because the Guardians of Ta Lo Village are no pushovers, and every generation has the strongest Guardian chosen by the Great Protector, no one has ever truly reached the Dark Gate..."
"But twenty years ago, Xu Wenwu, out of selfish desire, took away the strongest Guardian of Ta Lo Village!"

He had already turned into a line of light and charged toward the scarlet barrier below.
Then, under the astonished gazes of the two Wandas, he actually passed through their Chaos Magic barrier—which even those soul monsters couldn't break through—as if it were nothing!
Intangibility Power, little Witch!
Compared to the Soul-Devouring Beast, which were merely soul bodies that couldn't be attacked by technological means, the Molecular-level Phase-shifting Ability Ryan had obtained from Ghost was the one that truly ignored all attacks!
Not even Chaos Magic was an exception!
At least, with the level of Chaos Magic the two Wandas possessed, Ryan could still ignore it just like any other energy once he phased!
Facing Ryan as he dove down, Xu Wenwu, atop the Dweller-in-Darkness, remained expressionless. He simply made a martial arts opening stance and then fired the Ten Rings from his hands in a cannon punch style toward Ryan, who had turned into a blue line!
In response, Ryan just waved his right hand, and the Ten Rings on his right arm also flew out, becoming a rainbow-colored light that collided with Xu Wenwu's blue-light Ten Rings!
Although the Ten Rings from the two Universes were identical in material, there was a World of difference between their users.
The moment Xu Wenwu's Ten Rings touched Ryan's, they completely collapsed. Although they weren't directly shattered because they were of the same material, they were instantly knocked aside and scattered!
Ryan didn't wait for his Ten Rings to fly back. Covered in an orange soul-light, he turned his body into a meteor and stomped heavily onto the hideous beast-head of the Dweller-in-Darkness!

The Dweller-in-Darkness, which had finally managed to almost completely crawl out of the underground lava, instantly felt a massive, irresistible force come from the top of its head!
Its entire beastly body sank back into the lava at a speed visible to the naked eye!
