Facing five hundred million, Ryan's tone completely changed:
"Mr. Five Hundred Million, oh no, Mr. Stark, I guarantee I'll get you home safely at the fastest speed possible. Is there anything else I can do for you?"
Mr. Money-Power-User Stark, seeing this proud superpowered individual yield to his wealth, regained a confident smile and pointed to the iron parts in the corner:
"Ahem, then please pack up my 'luggage.' I'd like to take it back as a souvenir."
Although Tony didn't explicitly say what that pile of iron parts was, Ryan, having read the original story, naturally knew they were the prototype components of the Mark I Iron Man armor.
However, since Tony didn't say it directly, Ryan didn't bother to ask.
After all, he wasn't very interested in the Iron Man armor.
To him, the heavy and bulky armor, aside from allowing him to fly, would only hinder his ultra-high flexibility as Spider-Man.
So Ryan simply raised his hand and shot a fan-shaped web, wrapping the parts in the corner and slinging them over his shoulder after pulling them back.
Tony couldn't help but look in surprise at Ryan's wrist where the silk was shot from.
He had clearly seen that the other party wasn't wearing any launchers; the spider-web-like substance was shot directly from his wrist!
However, Tony also didn't pry.
After all, the biggest taboo for superhumans is having others investigate the source of their powers.
This was the trump card they relied on for survival; how could they just tell anyone?
What if they were targeted after revealing it?
For instance, Tony himself was confident that if he knew the specifics of someone's ability, he could build a counter-device specifically for it.
Like an Anti-Spider-Man Armor...
"Mr. Stark, are there any other souvenirs you need to take?"
It wasn't until Ryan's voice came that Tony's gaze shifted away from Ryan's wrist.
Tony shook his head: "Just call me Tony. Other than this, everything else in this cave only disgusts me, so no need..."
After speaking, Tony asked again: "By the way, I don't know what to call you yet. A name, or a code name?"
"If it were any other ordinary employer, I'd usually only tell them my code name. But since you're worth five hundred million, you're a big client, and I think we might have a long-term cooperation in the future, so..."
Ryan reached for his mask and slowly pulled it up, revealing his face.
"Ryan Parker, that's my name."
Hearing that familiar name and seeing the face he vaguely remembered, Tony was somewhat surprised:
"It's actually you, the genius boy who the New York Times claimed almost surpassed me two years ago?"
"Back then, because of that title, I even sent Pepper to recruit you personally to see just how much of a genius you were, but you brat rejected me!"
"I didn't expect that instead of getting a job, you went off to be a Superhero!"
Ryan raised his index finger and wagged it at Tony, saying indifferently:
"No, no, no. I didn't go off to be some Superhero. Superheroes save people out of obligation; I charge for it. I went to make money."
Tony was a bit confused: "It's just a small difference in money, does it matter?"
Ryan's mouth twitched: "A 'small' difference? Tsk, there's really no talking to someone like you who makes millions a minute..."
Tony smiled disdainfully: "Millions a minute? Kid, it's not that little~"
With that, Tony walked out first, carrying the stench of money.
Meanwhile, Ryan silently turned the index finger he had raised at Tony into a middle finger:
"What a load of bull, 'millions a minute isn't that little.' No matter how amazing Stark Industries is, making over a billion dollars a day is still an understatement, right..."
Ethan, who had been standing by like an NPC, suddenly said:
"Uh, Mr. Parker, that might actually be true. I remember Tony saying that before he was captured, he had just signed a weapons deal with the Military worth over ten billion..."
Hearing this, Ryan fell silent.
But he wasn't silenced by Tony's ten-billion-dollar deal; he was wondering if he had asked for too little!
Five hundred million seemed like pocket change to this guy!
But a promise made is like water poured out; Ryan always insisted on a fixed-price business—no bargaining, no counter-offers.
So it wasn't easy to take back his move now.
However, a smile soon returned to Ryan's face.
Because he thought of a way to make another big sum, or even two, off Tony!
But he had to get him back first...
On the way out, Tony walked through the cave, looking at the 'teru teru bozus' hanging from the ceiling by silk or the 'headless dolls' stuck to the walls. While amazed, he wasn't scared at all; instead, he felt incredibly relieved!
Because almost every one of these guys had beaten him and Ethan over the past two months!
Those five hundred million were worth every penny!
And after walking out of the cave and seeing the watchtower covered in 'teru teru bozus,' Tony was even more dumbfounded, turning his head mechanically toward Ryan:
"What the f... can you tell me how you did it? With so many of these guys, didn't a single one notice you?"
To this, Ryan only replied with one sentence: "How many FPS players have you seen who look up?"
That one sentence left the richest man in the World silent.
After a long time, Tony silently swore in his heart that once his new armor was built, he would definitely pay more attention to what was above his head during combat!
After all, he didn't want to cosplay as a 'teru teru bozu'!
While Tony and Ethan were marveling at the 'teru teru bozus' hanging on the watchtower, Ryan had already swung away on his silk to bring over the car he had hidden in the distance.
You might ask how he swung on silk in the desert?
Don't ask; if you must know, Peter's parents are hanging in the sky.
They're all part of the parker family, so it's fine to borrow a hang-point, right?
Seeing Ryan drive back, Ethan got into the car without hesitation; he had been dying to leave this demonic cave.
But Tony stood by the car door, gazing at the cave with a complex expression, delaying getting in.
Seeing this from the driver's seat, Ryan poked his head out and teased: "What, did you grow attached to living here?"
Tony shook his head and got into the car, his voice turning low:
"No, I'm just wondering who sold the Stark Industries weapons to the Ten Rings Gang, and who exactly the traitor within Stark Industries is..."
Ryan's eyes flashed upon hearing this, realizing his next big order was coming.
So he planned to give Tony a little taste of sweetness first to make him happy, so that when it came time to name a price later, Tony would be in a mood to give a price that made Ryan happy too.
Ryan pointed to the car's trunk and smiled: "There's an RPG in the trunk. If you really don't want your products staying here, just blow them up and be done with it..."
Tony raised an eyebrow: "Oh, I couldn't tell that a money-grubber like you was actually quite a nice guy."
Without being polite, Tony immediately ran to the trunk, took out the RPG, and returned to the back seat, closing the door.
Then Tony leaned half his body out of the window and patted the car frame:
"OK, Ryan, I'm ready. Drive out a bit further before I fire. My weapons don't misfire; if I fire at this distance, we'll all be blown to the sky!"
Ryan didn't reply, just floored the gas and sped away.
Once the distance was safe according to Tony's calculations, Tony aimed and pulled the trigger.
Although Tony's handgun accuracy was so questionable that Rhodes mocked him for it,
facing a mountain of weapons with an RPG equipped with a scope, he wasn't about to miss.
The Rocket, trailing a long flame, successfully hit the weapon pile, causing a massive explosion!
The orange-red light seemed to illuminate the entire desert night sky in an instant, and it also lit up Tony's face, which was wearing an excited smile.
In the words of a CEO novel, the young master hadn't shown such a happy smile in a long time...
Seeing this through the rearview mirror, Ryan felt the timing was about right.
He'd had his fun; now it was time to talk business.
Therefore, after Tony retracted his body from the window, Ryan tossed a USB drive to him in the back seat.
Tony instinctively caught it and looked at Ryan with some confusion: "What's this, your collection of adult film links?"
Ryan:...
After a few seconds of silence, Ryan said meaningfully: "If you want to put it that way, you're not wrong. And it includes SM, bondage, and wet-look scenes..."
Hearing this, Tony's eyes lit up, and he put the USB drive into his pocket without hesitation:
"Oh! If that's the case, then I'll accept it. When I get home, I'll have to give it a good review."
