fter the heavy farewell moments that brought Asta and Yuno together with what remained of their family at the church, the true path they had always dreamed of since childhood finally began.

There was no turning back anymore, and the dream was no longer just words spoken with excitement it had become a reality that had to be faced, with all the risks it carried.

Their first steps outside the village held a strange mixture of excitement and fear, even though Asta showed no sign of that fear. He walked with endless energy, as if the entire world was waiting for him.

The road toward the Clover Kingdom was long, passing through dense forests and vast open lands where sometimes no sign of life could be seen, and at other times strange sounds echoed from magical creatures moving within the shadows.

With every step, the feeling that this world was far wider than they had once believed became clearer.

And yet, Asta never stopped talking or showing excitement. He waved his hands as he spoke loudly:

"Come on, Yuno! We have to get there quickly! I don't want to be late for the Magic Knights exam! This is finally our chance!"

As for Yuno, he walked calmly as usual, his eyes carefully observing the road, as if expecting danger to appear at any moment.

Excitement did not control him like it did Asta. Instead, his focus was on the goal—and on the path they had to follow without mistakes.

He said in a low voice:

"We won't get there faster if we lose our caution."

But Asta didn't pay much attention. He laughed and said:

"Don't worry! This time things are different… I'm stronger now!"

It didn't take long before Yuno's expectations began to come true.

From between the dense trees, a group of men appeared, surrounding them from all directions in a calculated manner.

Their faces were harsh, and their clothes made it clear they were nothing more than bandits who lived by robbing travelers.

Asta stopped suddenly, looking at them with annoyance, then said:

"What's going on here? What do you want?"

A man who seemed to be their leader stepped forward, a sly smile on his face that carried no good intentions, and said:

"We want everything you have… and your lives too, if you refuse."

His voice carried the confidence of someone used to controlling situations like this.

But what he didn't expect… was the reaction of the other side.

Yuno stood firmly, looking at him with complete coldness, and said:

"Then… show me what you've got."

Asta smirked mockingly and turned to Yuno, saying:

"Looks like you didn't learn from last time when you lost."

Then he turned back to the leader and added, this time in a serious tone:

"Listen, we don't have time to waste on you. We're on our way to the Clover Kingdom for the exam, and we're not letting anyone slow us down. Move out of the way."

The leader laughed loudly, then said:

"You seem overly confident… but we're not moving. Your grimoires look valuable… and we'll be taking them."

At that point, there was no room left for words.

Asta and Yuno exchanged a brief glance, as if they had reached the same decision without needing to speak.

In the next moment

Mana erupted in the surroundings.

The bandits launched their attack all at once, different spells rushing toward Asta and Yuno

But the outcome had already been decided from the beginning.

Yuno moved with incredible speed, lightning bursting around him, slicing through the attacks effortlessly and returning them with even greater force.

At the same time, Asta charged forward, his black sword cutting through magic as if it didn't even exist.

The fight lasted only moments

Before the bandits fell one after another, unable to even understand what had just happened to them.

Asta stood in the middle of the clearing and looked at those who remained, saying:

"This is what happens when you waste our time."

Then he turned toward Yuno and added:

"We need to hurry… I don't want us to be late."

Yuno nodded silently, as if what had just happened was nothing more than a small obstacle on a much longer road.

But somewhere else entirely, far from that path… another story was beginning—without their knowledge.

In a city called Osnabrück, a young man sat inside a simple room, holding a glowing purple stone in his hand.

He stared at it in confusion, unsure whether he was holding something valuable… or just a strange piece of glass.

He said quietly:

"Is this… a diamond?"

His life had been full of hardship, and poverty had followed him for years, so it wasn't strange that his first thought was to sell it.

But his curiosity pushed him further.

He remembered the box he had found in the attic, so he decided to go up again.

He opened the box and found an old piece of paper marked with a strange symbol—a four-leaf clover.

He began to read what was written on it, and the further he read, the more confused he became.

The words spoke about a magical stone, about a gate between two worlds, and about a responsibility he did not understand.

When he reached the final part, he paused for a moment, then said:

"This is nonsense…"

But despite that, he decided to continue reading.

The moment he spoke the final words… everything changed.

The stone in his hand began to glow and shake violently, as if it had awakened from a long slumber.

Before he could comprehend what was happening, a blue portal opened in front of him, pulling his body with immense force

And he vanished into it in an instant.

At the same time…

On the road where Asta and Yuno were

The same portal appeared.

Both of them stopped immediately, shock visible on their faces.

The air around them changed, as if the very energy itself had become unstable.

Asta quickly gripped his sword and said:

"This… it's the same energy…"

He remembered what had happened to him before, how he had obtained his grimoire, then said sharply:

"Are you back again?! I won't give my grimoire to anyone!"

But Yuno wasn't thinking the same way.

He was observing the portal carefully, his eyes narrowing gradually, then said:

"No… this isn't an attack."

Before he could say more

A person came out of the portal and fell hard onto the ground.

He groaned, then slowly began to stand, looking around in clear shock.

"Where am I…?" he said.

Asta approached quickly, looking at him with clear suspicion, then asked:

"Who are you?"

The young man lifted his head and looked at them, then said:

"Do you speak Japanese? I do too… even though I was born in Germany…"

Asta and Yuno exchanged a strange glance.

Then Asta said:

"What are you talking about? You're in the Clover Kingdom. Tell me your name."

The young man replied:

"No Sakka."

Asta frowned.

"Strange name…"

Then added:

"How did you get here?"

The young man hesitated slightly, then said:

"I don't remember clearly… just this stone… and a paper… and then…"

He looked around again, as if trying to process this new reality.

Asta didn't fully understand what he said, but he didn't care much.

He suddenly smiled, placed his hand on the young man's shoulder, and said:

"It doesn't matter! You can come with us!"

Yuno looked at him and said calmly:

"You trust him too quickly."

But Asta replied confidently:

"We have the same goal now!"

Then he turned to the young man and said:

"We're going to take the Magic Knights exam!"

The young man's eyes widened.

"Magic? I… don't have anything like that."

Asta laughed and said:

"Neither did I!"

Then added:

"But that didn't stop me!"

The young man stood silent for a moment, not fully understanding what was happening, but realizing he had no other choice.

He looked at them, then said quietly:

"Alright…"

And just like that without any of them realizing the magnitude of what had begun

The three of them set off together toward the Clover Kingdom.

Each one carrying a different secret within…

And every step bringing them closer to a future that could change the entire world.
