chapter -31-dismissed...and the water attack incident

Zian Hausi had a system.

A very clean system.

A very efficient system.

A system that solved problems before they even had the chance to become annoying.

If someone is unnecessary—remove them.

She sat on the sofa.

Same place.

Same tea.

Same calm expression.

Peace = maintained.

From the hallway—

"I FEEL LIKE MY LIFE HAS NO MEANING."

Zian didn't look.

Correct.

"…It doesn't," she said calmly.

Sterling walked in dramatically, placing one hand on his chest like he was in a tragic play no one asked for.

"…I KNEW IT. I KNEW MY LIFE WAS EMPTY."

Huo Lou followed behind him, holding a glass of water, completely unbothered.

"…Ignore her, she's like this every day."

Zian nodded.

"…Correct."

Sterling sat down.

"…You both are destroying my confidence."

Zian blinked.

That implies it existed before.

"…It will recover," she said.

Pause.

Probably not.

Silence.

Peace.

Calm.

For exactly—

Two seconds.

Then—

Footsteps.

Zian didn't look immediately.

Unnecessary presence detected.

Fiang Sheng entered.

Calm.

Standing there like he belonged.

Zian blinked.

Incorrect assumption.

"…Report," she said.

Fiang Sheng looked at her.

"…Nothing to report."

Silence.

Zian stared.

Wrong answer.

Pause.

No report = no purpose.

Sterling leaned forward slowly.

"…OH NO…"

Huo Lou raised her glass and took a sip.

"…He's done…"

Zian raised her hand.

Decision confirmed.

Snap.

Silence.

Fiang Sheng—

Vanished.

Gone.

Just—

Gone.

Sterling froze mid-breath.

"…WHAT."

Huo Lou blinked mid-sip.

"…WHERE—"

Zian lowered her hand.

Calm.

"…He left."

Sterling stood up.

"…HE DID NOT WALK."

Zian blinked.

Irrelevant detail.

"…He is no longer here," she said.

Huo Lou slowly lowered her glass.

"…You just sent him somewhere…"

Zian took a sip of tea.

"…Yes."

Pause.

Efficiency restored.

Meanwhile… The Most Unfortunate Location

Fiang Sheng reappeared.

Instantly.

And immediately—

"THUD."

He slipped.

Paused.

Looked down.

Tiles.

Water.

Bucket.

Silence.

…Bathroom.

He stayed there for three full seconds.

Processing.

Re-evaluating life choices.

"…Of all places," he said.

He stood up slowly.

Dignity: gone.

Composure: trying.

Sanity: questionable.

He looked at the mirror.

Wet floor.

Mop.

Bucket.

"…Very precise."

Pause.

"…She aimed for humiliation."

He stepped out.

Walking calmly.

Like nothing happened.

Even though everything happened.

Back Inside

Zian sat peacefully.

Tea in hand.

Calm.

Stable.

Peace restored.

Sterling paced in circles like a confused detective with no clues and too much confidence.

"…WHERE DID SHE SEND HIM?? WAS IT ANOTHER DIMENSION??"

Huo Lou sat down again, sipping water like nothing was wrong.

"…I don't want to know…"

Zian blinked.

Irrelevant curiosity.

Then—

Footsteps.

Zian didn't look.

Returned.

Fiang Sheng walked in.

Calm.

Too calm.

Suspiciously calm.

Sterling turned instantly.

"…YOU'RE BACK."

Huo Lou looked up.

Still holding her glass.

"…Where did you go?"

Fiang Sheng stopped.

Looked at them.

Then—

Looked at Zian.

Long pause.

Zian blinked.

Why is he pausing.

Then he said—

"…You teleported me to the toilet."

Silence.

Time stopped.

Reality paused.

Sterling froze.

"…NO WAY."

Huo Lou—

Mid-sip—

Paused.

Eyes widened.

Brain processed.

System crashed.

And then—

"PFFFFFFFFFFFF—"

The water EXPLODED out of her mouth.

FULL FORCE.

FULL PRESSURE.

FULL ACCURACY.

STRAIGHT.

INTO.

FIANG SHENG'S FACE.

SPLASH.

Complete silence.

Sterling dropped to the floor.

"…I'M DONE."

Huo Lou froze.

Glass still in hand.

Soul left body.

"…I—"

Pause.

"…I DID NOT MEAN—"

Fiang Sheng stood there.

Wet.

Completely wet.

Dripping.

Like he just lost a fight against water.

Silence.

Zian looked at him.

Pause.

Her shoulders moved.

Slightly.

Again.

Pause.

"…pff—"

And then—

She broke.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA—"

Zian Hausi—

The calm one.

The composed one.

The "I don't react to anything" person—

Was laughing.

Uncontrollably.

She leaned forward.

Holding her stomach.

"…THE TOILET—"

"HAHAHAHA—"

"…AND THEN—"

She tried to breathe.

Failed again.

"…YOU—"

She pointed at Huo Lou.

"…WATER—"

"HAHAHAHAHAHA—"

"…DIRECT HIT—"

Sterling rolled on the floor.

"…THIS IS HISTORY. THIS IS A HISTORICAL MOMENT."

Huo Lou covered her face.

"…I WANT TO DISAPPEAR."

Zian, still laughing, waved her hand lazily.

"…Then go."

Snap.

Silence.

Huo Lou—

Vanished.

Gone.

Sterling froze mid-laugh.

"…WAIT—"

Pause.

"…WHERE DID YOU SEND HER."

Zian leaned back.

Still laughing.

"…Nearby."

Meanwhile… Even More Unfortunate Location

Huo Lou appeared.

Instantly.

Paused.

Looked around.

Then froze.

"…No."

Pause.

"…No no no—"

Because she was standing in the most cursed place possible.

"…WHY HERE—"

She panicked.

"…WHY WOULD YOU—"

Back Inside

Sterling slowly turned to Zian.

"…You didn't…"

Zian sipped her tea.

Calm.

"…I did."

Sterling grabbed his head.

"…YOU SENT HER TO A WORSE PLACE."

Zian nodded.

"…Yes."

Pause.

Accuracy improved.

Fiang Sheng wiped his face slowly.

Still calm.

Still composed.

Somehow still functioning.

"…I will change," he said.

And turned.

Walking away like a man who had accepted everything life could throw at him.

Even water.

Even toilets.

Even Zian.

Silence.

Then—

Sterling exploded again.

"…HE SAID IT SO CALMLY—"

Zian leaned back.

Finally calming down.

A small smile still on her face.

This is…

Pause.

Unexpected.

But—

acceptable.

Very acceptable.

Conclusion:

Unnecessary presence removed.

Location = unfortunate.

Water attack = successful.

Secondary victim = relocated.

Pause.

Result = highly entertaining.

She picked up her tea again.

Calm.

Peaceful.

Like nothing happened.

Except—

Now—

Every time she thought about it—

Toilet.

Water.

Huo Lou's scream.

Pause.

"…pff—"

She almost laughed again.

And somewhere in the distance—

Huo Lou was still regretting every life decision she had ever made.

While Sterling—

Was still laughing like this was the best day of his entire existence.

And Fiang Sheng—

Was quietly reconsidering reality itself.

Because in this house—

Dignity did not survive.

Only chaos did. 😈🔥
