I ran into the class breathing heavily
Lecturer - "you're late, miss Jira"
Jira - "I'm sorry" *I paused trying to gain my breath* "Mrs. Jez"
I walked to my seat
AFTER CLASS
Jira - "Why today, I didn't even bring my umbrella" I sighed "I guess I have no other choice."
I left the shelter and stepped into the rain, the tenderness could melt my inside and froze me to death on the outside. Sixth percent of people consider fire and water as the greatest enemies but from my side of view I saw the opposite and I'll tell you why, not today, not tomorrow, but someday.
I stepped into my condo, my body soaking wet—the water dripping off me rested arrogantly on the floor. I wasn't cold neither was I hot but I felt something in between called "WARM."
Gorya - "Jira!! What happened? Thyme get a towel."
Jira - "Thanks."
I took the towel, wrapping it round my body but nothing changed I could feel I, not just anything but the same feeling I felt when I stood in the rain, it almost felt like a blessing knowing I could live freely.
Kaning - "Jira Jira!!"
Jira - "Ha?"
Kaning - "you're zoning off, are you okay?"
Jira- "Yh, I'm fine just tired."
After hours of waiting it was finally evening, I was really dressed and sitted on the couch waiting for coming for Kavin.
Moments later I received a call from Kavin
Jira - "He's calling!!"
Immediately Gorya, kaning, Win and Thyme Stop whatever they were doing to listen.
Kavin - " I'm downstairs"
Jira - " Okay I'll be down in a minute"
I hanged up
I stood up walking back and forth round the room. I walked to Gorya and held her hand.
Jira - "What if I mess everything up, what if..."
Gorya - "Jira, calm down you won't mess anything, just be yourself okay?"
Gorya walked to the doors still holding my hand While opening the door
Gorya - " If anything happens you can always call We're all here for you."
Jira - "Can we all hug?"
We came together embracing each other with a hug
"Thanks guys" I said with a cracking voice
Kaning - " Don't cry so you won't mess up your makeup"
Jira - "Bye guys"
I took a step out closing the door behind me

Jira - " How do I look?"
" You look gorgeous" He said as he took my hand spinning me around
"He's such a gentlemen" I said to myself
He opens the cat and closed it after I was comfortable and told him the address of the place I picked
He got into the car and after hours of driving we arrived at the place called "LUNA" which means
He got on the car and helped me open the door extending his hands
"Thanks" I said as I took his hand
We stepped into the restaurant, it wasn't fancy but it was quite good and finally we sat down at our desired table
Kavin - " So how's your design going?"
Jira - " Almost done, I guess this time I want to miss it deadline"
Kavin - "That's nice"
After a short conversation the Waitress finally brought the menu
Jira- "I'll have a steak and maybe...water"
Kavin - "I'II gave the same thing as hers"
The waitress took our orders and return later with our dish and left after serving us.
I took the Cutleries and minced the steak into small pieces
Kavin - "You're the first person I've seen eating steak this way"
I gave an awkward smile before stuffing my mouth with minced steak.
" If you keep staring at me that way, I might not be able to eat" I said taking a sip of my water
Kavin - " Sorry I can't focus when someone this beautiful is sitting before me"
I almost choked on my water
"Sorry" I apologized
Minutes later after the taste of steak existed, I decided to excuse myself to the bathroom, I did what I needed to do in the bedroom and wash my hand afterwards. Walking to the cashier I decided to be pay.
Jira - "I would like to pay"
Cashier- " The man you came with already paid"
Jira - "Oh okay" I said walking back to my table in confusion
Jira - "Why did you pay?"
Kavin - " How could I let you pay"
Jira - " This was supposed to be on me"
Kavin - "I...
Kavin phone began to ring
Kavin - "Hello, now? Okay"
I could hear the emotion in his voice
Kavin - " Let me drive you home"
Jira - " It's okay, I can go home myself, just take care of your current problem"
Kavin - "Are you sure?"
Jira - "Yh, I am"
Kavin - "Thanks"
He ran out of the restaurant in a hurry
Seems like something important
I finally exist the restaurant and set my mind on going home, I quickened my step hoping to catch the last bus. The night was windy as expected, wind dancing around the pink blossom tree like it was part life. I felt happy but for some reason I wanted to cry along with the sky, the bright light from the moon overshadowed even the darkest corner while the scent of Jasmine filled the air with something that burns bright yet felt deeper.
In the darkness a shadow emerged, it felt like it was moving, until it got closer, I noticed I wasn't a shadow but a man being chased by a bunch of men with weapons like knives and axes.
Without thinking twice I pulled him into a corner.
"Who are y-" I gently pressed my hand against his lips
"Shh"
I stretched my head a little to see if they were gone
Man 1 - I think we lost him
Man 2 - Retreat
I gave a sigh of relieve before turning back to him
"They're gone" I said resting my back against the thick wall.He stood up but all I could see were the wounds on his face.
"Wait here don't leave yet" I said
I returned later with some medicine to dress his wounds. I sat beside him bringing out my equipment.
"I can do it myself" he said with trembling hands
" Let me" I insisted
I began to dress his wounds, gently turning his face to dress the other side but I froze when our eyes met, his face emotional but he's eyes were worst, it was filled with emotions I couldn't describe, I couldn't help but feel anxious.
"i'm done" I said trying to shake off such thought
He stood up without looking back before disappearing into the darkness like he owned it
"No, thanks at least take the medicine with you" I yelled
Before I could finish my sentence he was know where to be found
Jira - "oh! he's wallet, I guessed it spilted."
I bent down picking the wallet from the ground
"So Clumsy" I giggled
I slide the wallet into my purse
"I'll be staying at a motel tonight" I said to myself "Let me call Gorya first."
I brought out cell phone dialing Gorya's number, Patiently waiting for her to pick up the phone. Moments later she finally answered the phone.
Jira - "I won't be coming home tonight, so don't wait for me."
Gorya - "Why? What happened?"
Jira - "I'll explain tomorrow when I get home, Good night, love you"
I missed the bus so deal with it
I decided to settle down in a nearby motel just for the night.
I stepped into the motel looking nervous. I slowly gathered up the courage and Step up to the counter, where the reception is looked up and gave a polite smile
"Hi," she said, her voice polite but careful. "Um… do you have any rooms available for tonight?"
"Yes."
"Got a single room left" he said typing some keys on the computer
"That perfect" I replied
"May I see your ID" he looked up from the computer
I pulled my ID from my bag, handing it to him
"Student?" he
asked casually, glancing at my ID.
"Yh" I nodded
"Cash or card" he asked
"Card" I replied
"Room 12. End of the hallway, ground floor," he said. "Wi-Fi password's on the back of the door."
"Thanks"
