Chapter 2: Samantha Got A Job
In Maple Street everyone knows the first house to disturb the peace of the neighborhood. It was just 7:30am when Mrs Williams and her children where running round their house and her husband shouting for not preparing breakfast early. Samantha rolled over her bed and stretched, she stood and opened her curtains and went down stairs for a glass of water. She came up stairs and picked up her phone and saw a notification which read ' Miss Samantha Kylie Cunningham, congratulations you are now one of the employees of Phoenix tech. Company LTD as an Accountant. You are to start on Monday morning, congratulations. Samantha jumped up from her bed and danced around the room. She quickly went to her parents room," Mom, Dad wake up I have good news" her dad clumsily woke up to open the curtains "what is it Samantha", he replied as he opened the curtains her mom rolled over "isn't it early to play around", Samantha looked in surprise "Ew, no we are not playing, you guys should guess" her mom lay back down and said " is to early to guess Sam just talk " her dad sat down beside her mom looking at the grin on Sam's face " okay, you know the job I and Abigail went to look for, for our intern" her mom opened her eyes immediately and sat up " yes, what happened" her dad adjusted in the bed to sit comfortably to listen to Sam " Mom, Dad I got the job" they both stood up from the bed and hugged Sam,her mom said "I am happy for you Sam, have you called Abigail to inform her" Sam looked at her phone "no I haven't but I would rather tell her when I get to her house" her dad quickly wore his shirt " these calls for celebration". They all went down stairs and merried.
Samantha dressed up and left to Abigail's house, when she got there she knocked and came in, she was unhappy" good morning my love" she greeted Abigail but she didn't reply, she dropped her purse and turned to Abigail " okay something is wrong, what happened, where's your mom" Abigail looked at her," she went out and I am sad because Charles doesn't want to talk to me regarding what happened yesterday" Samantha sighed " is that all, so you wanna die cause of Charles C'mon girl stop this ok, l will talk to him" Abigail gave a sigh of relief " and what happened between you and Guy " Samantha grumbled " I don't want to talk about it but if you must know we broke up, because he cheated with people his brother's age " Abigail laughed " What's funny Abby" Samantha Stood up to leave " I'm sorry, I couldn't hold it, it's just that you said he cheated with people his brother's age, his brother is seven Sam, seven" Samantha chuckled" but Emily looks seven to me" Abigail laughed " Emily is seventeen not seven" Samantha gave a funny smirk " oh I thought she was seven, but Abby don't lie doesn't she look seven" she looked at Abigail " yeah I'm not gonna lie she looks seven".
They both went to the living room and sat down watching TV when they heard a knock on the door, Samantha shouted " Who's that, I'm coming" she went to the door and met Simon " Hey simmy" Abigail asked " who's that" " it's me Simon, My love" Samantha stood in shock as he walked magnificently feeling like a king. Abigail stood up"What are you doing here Simon, you want another injury" Simon looked at her in disgust " Abby don't worry I will treat him after his second bruise maybe this time not on the head" Simon turned to Sam" I hope I'm safe but anyways I brought good news" Abigail chuckled " And what is that because we all know the news you bring are always bad " Simon smirked " Bad to some people but this time is good, remember that job you told me about Abby" Samantha laughed " you were rejected " Abigail looked at her and laughed, Simon sighed " Ouch, no I was accepted and I'm the new assistant to the accountant" Abigail was amazed by the news but Samantha kept on laughing " What's funny Sam" Abigail asked " I'm the new accountant of Phoenix company Ltd for my internship, Simon I can't believe you are my assistant it'll be fun and disastrous" Simon and Samantha laughed but Abigail was still worried about her not getting any emails from all the companies that interviewed her.
