The instant my eyes landed on him, I froze for a brief moment.
Among all the faces gathered inside the arena, he was the last person I had expected to see.
Just moments earlier, I had been scanning the crowd, searching for the triplets who had promised they would come.
My gaze had wandered from one section of the arena to another, carefully observing every distinguished guest that had already taken their seat.
Then it happened.
My eyes fell on Michael.
For a second, I simply stared at him.
I genuinely had no idea what he was doing there.
Why was he here?

Countless questions flooded my thoughts one after another, yet none of them had an answer.
