Chapter 75 - PART 7 — The Way It Becomes Real

Her heartbeat raced wildly.

His matched it.

Everything else faded.

No crowd.

No world.

Just them.

And this time—

she didn't pull away.

Because she didn't want to.

The kiss wasn't rushed.

It wasn't unsure anymore.

It felt certain.

His hand steady at her waist.

Her fingers gripping his shirt.

Holding him like letting go didn't make sense anymore.

And for that moment—

that was enough.

Just them.

Until slowly—

they pulled apart.

Not completely.

Still close.

Still feeling it.

Pixel looked down.

"…This is getting dangerous."

A faint smile.

"Too late."

Her heart skipped.

Because he meant it.

The Next Day

Because something had changed.

Not loudly.

Not officially.

But deeply.

Pixel walked through the corridor.

Trying to act normal.

Failing.

Because everywhere she went—

people looked.

Not just at her.

At them.

Whispers followed.

💬 "That's her…"💬 "She's the one…"💬 "The football guy…"💬 "They're together, right?"

Pixel's heartbeat picked up.

"…This is so embarrassing," she muttered.

"You look like a celebrity."

She turned.

Ketty.

Grinning.

"Not helping."

"Oh I am."

Ketty leaned closer.

"You should see his side."

Pixel frowned.

"What do you mean?"

Ketty smirked.

"He's not even trying to hide it."

Her heart skipped.

Meanwhile — Stephan

"Bro… just say it already."

Johan leaned against the desk.

"You're making it obvious."

Hill nodded.

"Very obvious."

Stephan didn't reply.

Just looked at his phone.

Calm.

Too calm.

"You literally walked off the field holding her hand yesterday."

Johan added—

"That's not subtle."

A faint smile appeared.

"It wasn't supposed to be."

Silence.

Then—

both Johan and Hill looked at each other.

"…Oh."

The Meeting

Pixel stepped outside the building.

And stopped.

Because he was there.

Leaning casually.

Waiting.

Like always.

But this time—

something felt different.

Because now—

she knew.

He wasn't just waiting.

He was choosing.

Openly.

She walked toward him.

Trying to stay calm.

Failing again.

"You're causing chaos," she said.

A faint smile.

"Am I?"

"Yes."

A pause.

"People are talking."

He stepped closer.

"Let them."

Her breath hitched.

"You don't care?"

"No."

A pause.

"Do you?"

She hesitated.

"…I don't know."

Honest.

Always honest.

Then—

he held her hand.

Right there.

In front of everyone.

"I'm not hiding."

That line—

stayed.

After College — The Shift

They walked out together.

His hand still holding hers.

And this time—

she didn't even notice the people.

Because now—

she was used to it.

A little.

"Come," he said.

"Where?"

"You'll see."

The Car

She sat inside.

He got in.

And then—

music played.

Soft.

A romantic song.

Filling the silence.

"You planned this?" she asked.

"No."

A pause.

"It just fits."

Her lips curved slightly.

Because it did.

The car moved.

Slow.

Calm.

His hand near hers again.

Waiting.

Pixel looked at it.

Then—

placed her hand over his.

Soft.

And he held it.

Without saying anything.

The Stop — Someone Familiar

The car stopped.

Pixel stepped out.

Still unsure.

Until—

"Diii!"

She turned instantly.

"Stevan!"

The 13-year-old ran toward her—

hugging her tightly.

"You didn't come for so long!"

She laughed.

"I had classes."

"You forgot me."

"I didn't."

He pulled back—

then looked at Stephan.

Then smirked.

"…Finally."

"Don't start," Stephan said.

"I didn't even say anything yet."

Inside — Comfort

They sat together.

Easy.

Natural.

Stevan talking non-stop.

Pixel laughing.

Stephan just watching.

After some time—

"I'll be back," Stevan said.

"But don't do anything weird."

"Go," Stephan replied.

The Almost Kiss

Silence.

Finally.

Pixel exhaled.

"That kid hasn't changed."

"Nope."

A pause.

Then—

their eyes met.

That same pull.

That same tension.

He leaned closer.

She didn't move back.

Her fingers gripped his shirt.

Her breath uneven.

And this time—

she didn't stop him.

He moved closer.

Closer.

And just when—

the door opened.

"I KNEW IT."

Pixel hit Stephan lightly.

"Seriously?!"

Stevan smirked.

"Perfect timing."

Stephan leaned back.

Smiling.

"Bad timing."

Night — The Claim

Stephan sat quietly.

Looking at his hand.

Wrapped around it—

Pixel's hairband.

The same one.

He clicked a picture.

Just his hand.

And that hairband.

Then posted it.

💬 "Taken."

Pixel — Reaction

She saw it.

Froze.

Heart racing.

"…Idiot."

But she smiled.

Because now—

it was real.

Ketty — Final Attack

Door opens.

Ketty enters.

With full energy.

"I SAW THE POST."

Pixel hides her face.

"Ketty—"

"'TAKEN'?????"

She jumps on bed.

"So tell me—"

"How was the kiss today?"

Pixel freezes.

"…We didn't—"

Ketty gasps.

"ALMOST???"

Pixel throws pillow.

"GET OUT."

Ketty laughs.

"You're gone."

Pixel turns away.

"…Maybe."

And that one word—

said everything.

Ending Hook

Because sometimes—

love doesn't need a label.

It shows up—

in actions.

In moments.

In one simple word—

Taken.

And once it does—

You don't question it anymore.

You just feel it
