The beach party was in full swing.
Music played.
People were eating.
Curses were playing volleyball.
Fred and his friends were racing through the sand.

Takeru sat beneath an umbrella, eating pizza while watching everyone have fun.
Then Yuji suddenly pointed toward the ocean.
"Wait."
Takeru looked over.
"What?"
Yuji pointed again.
"Look."
Takeru followed his finger.
Two familiar figures were standing on surfboards.
Both Gojo's.
Takeru's smile slowly disappeared.
"…No way."
The two Gojo's were attempting to surf.
The first one carefully pushed off.
WHOOSH!
The wave immediately knocked him sideways.
SPLASH!
Takeru stared.
The second Gojo tried.
He stood up.
For approximately two seconds.
Then—
FLIP!
SPLASH!
Takeru burst out laughing.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Yuji started laughing too.
One of the Gojo's surfaced.
"I'M FINE!"
Takeru shouted back.
"YOU LOOK FINE!"
The second Gojo climbed back onto his board.
"It's harder than it looks!"
Takeru nearly fell over laughing.
"YOU HAVE THE SIX EYES!"
"THE SIX EYES DON'T HELP WITH SURFING!"
Takeru pointed at them.
"SKILL ISSUE!"
One Gojo glared at him.
"Get over here and try it!"
Takeru stood up.
"Oh?"
He grinned.
"You challenged me?"
The Gojo's looked at each other.
"…Maybe we shouldn't have."
Takeru grabbed a surfboard.
Takaba appeared beside him.
"Want me to make the waves really funny?"
Takeru immediately shook his head.
"No."
He pointed toward the two Gojo's.
"I want to see if I can do better naturally."
Takeru walked toward the water.
Behind him, one Gojo whispered to the other.
"…He's going to wipe out."
The other nodded.
"Absolutely."
Takeru heard them.
"Oh, you're both going down."
He stepped onto the board.
The next wave approached.
Takeru crouched.
The board lifted.
He stood.
Perfectly balanced.
The wave carried him forward.
Takeru grinned.
"HA!"
The two Gojo's stared.
"…What?"
Takeru surfed past them.
"LOOK AT ME!"
One Gojo shouted.
"SHOW-OFF!"
Takeru laughed.
"You're just jealous!"
Then a larger wave came.
Takeru's eyes widened.
"…Oh."
CRASH!
He disappeared beneath the water.
Silence.
The two Gojo's stared at the empty wave.
Then one slowly raised a fist.
"YES!"
The other cheered.
"HE FAILED TOO!"
Takeru surfaced.
"I DID THAT ON PURPOSE!"
Everyone on the beach burst out laughing.
Takeru climbed back onto the board.
"Okay."
He pointed at both Gojo's.
"Round two."
The two Gojo's exchanged looks.
Then grinned.
"Round two."
And the three of them paddled back toward the waves.
Meanwhile, Takaba sat on the beach watching them.
"Wouldn't it be funny if all three fell at the same time?"
He started laughing.
Then stopped himself.
"…No."
He smiled.
"I'll let them have this one."
The beach party continued.
And somewhere out on the water…
three extremely powerful sorcerers were losing a battle against basic surfing.
