Jay Jay's POV
And there he was.
Right behind me.
I saw him through the mirror—but I didn't turn.
I kept wiping the stain slowly, like he didn't exist.
Like he didn't affect me 💔
"Move," I said.
No response.
Just his presence. Closer now.
Too close.
"Who was he?" his voice came—low, controlled 😠
I almost smiled.
"Still asking questions like you have a right?"
A pause.
Then—
"I asked you something."
Now I turned.
Fully.
Looked straight into his eyes.
"And I answered.
It's none of your business."
His jaw tightened.
Good.
Let it hurt.
Kiefer's POV
She wasn't breaking.
Not even a crack.
That scared me more than anything 😶🌫️
I stepped forward and grabbed her wrist.
Fast.
Firm.
She reacted instantly.
"Don't touch me." ⚠️
Sharp. Immediate.
But I didn't let go.
"Say his name."
I needed to hear it.
Needed to destroy it 😡
She pulled harder this time.
"You don't get to demand anything from me."
That word.
Anything.
Like I was nothing.
Jay Jay's POV
I forced my hand free.
This time I didn't step back.
I stepped closer.
Let him feel it.
"You lost that right," I said quietly.
Something shifted in his face.
Not anger.
Something deeper.
Good.
Let him feel what I felt 💢
Kiefer's POV
"You moved on that fast?" I asked
It came out wrong.
Not angry.
Desperate.
I hated that.
But she didn't miss it.
"I moved on the moment you broke me."
Clean.
Direct.
No drama.
That hit worse 💔
Jay Jay's POV
He blocked my way again.
Of course he did.
"You think what I did was wrong?" he said, voice tightening.
"That guy was staring at you like—"
"Like what?" I cut in.
"Like a normal human being?"
His eyes darkened 😡
"No. Like he had access."
I let out a small laugh.
Cold.
"You're the only one here who thinks that way."
Silence.
Heavy ⚡
Kiefer's POV
"I was protecting you."
Even I knew it sounded weak.
She tilted her head slightly.
"No," she said.
"You were controlling me." ❌
That word.
Controlling.
It landed hard.
Jay Jay's POV
He stepped closer again.
Too close.
His hand moved—hovering near my waist.
Didn't touch.
But didn't move away either 😶
The air changed.
Thick.
Dangerous.
I looked at his hand.
Then at him.
"Don't confuse what you feel with what you're allowed to do."
That stopped him.
Finally.
Kiefer's POV
She still felt it.
I could see it.
The way her breath changed.
"You still feel it," I said quietly.
She didn't deny it.
Didn't react.
Just looked straight into me and said—
"Feeling something doesn't mean I want you."
That—
That was worse than rejection 💔
Jay Jay's POV
A knock.
"Anyone inside?"
Reality snapped.
I stepped back instantly.
Picked my bag.
Walked past him.
But his voice—
Low. Controlled. Dangerous.
"Keep testing me, Jay…" 😈
I stopped.
Just for a second.
"…and you won't like how I react."
I didn't turn.
"Then learn to control yourself," I said, and walked out 🚪
Back to the Table
I sat down like nothing happened.
Like my heart wasn't racing 💓
Percy smiled.
I smiled back.
Easy.
Normal.
Controlled 😌
Kiefer's POV
I came back a minute later.
Sat down.
Quiet.
Watching her laugh.
Watching her talk.
Like I didn't exist.
And when that guy leaned slightly closer to her—
Too close.
Too comfortable.
My hand clenched under the table 😠
This wasn't over.
Not even clclose
Jay Jay's POV
I knew he was watching me.
I didn't need to look.
I could feel it 😶🌫️
But I didn't react.
I kept talking to Percy… and to him.
Laughing.
Normal.
Maybe a little more than normal.
Let him see it.
Let it burn 😌🔥
"Jay, you didn't change at all," he said, smiling.
I tilted my head.
"Maybe I did."
From the corner of my eye—I saw movement.
Kiefer.
Leaning back in his chair, jaw tight, eyes locked on us 😠
Good.
Kiefer's POV
She was doing it on purpose.
No doubt.
The way she leaned slightly toward him.
The way she smiled.
The way she ignored me.
Every second—
It was getting harder to sit still.
Kieran was talking.
Kiegan was laughing.
I heard nothing.
Saw only her.
And him.
Too close.
Too comfortable 😡
"Relax, kuya," Kieran said lightly. "You're staring holes into them."
I didn't respond.
Because if I did—
I'd snap.
Jay Jay's POV
"Let's go for a walk after dinner?" he asked softly.
Simple.
Normal.
But I knew—
That wasn't going to stay simple.
I smiled.
"Sure 😊"
Silence.
Heavy.
Deadly.
I didn't even need to look.
I knew.
Kiefer's POV
That was it.
Chair scraped loudly against the floor.
Everyone went silent.
"Walk?" I repeated, laughing dryly.
I stood up.
Walked straight to their side of the table.
"Say that again."
The guy looked confused.
"Excuse me?"
I leaned closer.
Too close.
"I said—say it again."
Jay Jay's POV
Here we go.
I stood up immediately.
"Kiefer, sit down."
He didn't even look at me.
His eyes were locked on him.
"You think you can just walk in and take her out?" he said, voice low 😠
"Kiefer," I warned.
Too late.
Kiefer's POV
"I'm just asking her for a walk," he said calmly.
Calm.
That irritated me more.
"She already said yes."
That word.
Yes.
Something snapped 💣
Jay Jay's POV
"Kiefer, stop it."
I stepped between them.
Finally, he looked at me.
"Say it again," he said.
"What?"
"That you're going with him."
I held his gaze.
Unshaken.
"I'm going with him."
Silence.
Complete.
Dead.
Kiefer's POV
She said it.
Right in front of me.
Like it meant nothing.
Like I meant nothing.
I laughed.
Low.
Dangerous 😈
"Go," I said, stepping back.
Everyone froze.
"Go with him."
Even I didn't believe my own words.
But she did.
She turned.
Picked her bag.
And walked.
With him.
Jay Jay's POV
I didn't look back.
Not even once.
Even though I could feel it—
His stare burning into me 🔥
Kiefer's POV
The moment she walked out_
I grabbed the glass from the table and threw it hard against the wall.
It shattered.
Just like whatever control I had left 💥
"Kuya—" Kieran started,scared..😰
"Don't."😡
My voice was enough.
Silence.
Heavy breathing.
Clenched fists.
She chose him.
She actually chose him.
Fine.
Let her.
But this?
This isn't over.
Not even close 😡🔥
I'll make her listen.
She has to.
What I did back then…
breaking her, making her believe I used her…
was never the truth.
It was the only way to keep her safe.
And she doesn't even know it.
Not yet.
😶🌫️
I told her before I left for London—
whether she liked it or not…
when I come back, things wouldn't stay the same.
I meant that.
But this—
this version of her?
Cold.
Distant.
Untouchable.
It's pushing me somewhere I didn't plan to go 😈
She thinks she can walk away.
Ignore me.
Replace me.
Let her try.
Let her see what that does to me.
Because the more she pulls away…
the harder it's getting to hold myself back.❤🔥
And when that control snaps—
I won't be asking anymore.
And she won't be able to walk away like this again.
Not from me.
Jay Jay's POV
"Jay… wait."
His voice followed me again.
This time—
I stopped.
I don't know why.
Maybe I was tired of running.
Maybe I wanted answers.
Or maybe…
I just wanted to hear him one last time 😶🌫️
I turned slowly.
"One chance," I said, my voice steady.
"Say whatever you want to say. After that… don't come near me again."
Silence.
For a second, he just looked at me.
Like he didn't expect that.
Kiefer's POV
One chance.
That's all I needed.
I stepped closer—but carefully this time.
Not forcing.
Not rushing.
"If I tell you everything…" I said quietly,
"you have to listen till the end."
She didn't respond.
Just crossed her arms.
Waiting.
Jay Jay's POV
"Start," I said.
No emotions.
No softness.
Nothing.
Kiefer's POV
This was it.
No going back.
"It started with Aries."
Her eyes changed instantly.
Sharp.
Alert.
Good.
"At first… I didn't come into your life for you," I admitted.
Her expression hardened.
"I came for him."
Jay Jay's POV
Of course.
Of course it was something like this.
I let out a small, broken laugh.
"So I was just… what? A tool?" 💔
He flinched.
Good.
Let him feel it.
Kiefer's POV
"Yes."
The word felt like poison.
"But not for long."
She looked away.
That hurt more than anything.
"I had a plan," I continued.
"To get back at Aries… I thought making you fall for me would be the easiest way."
Silence.
Dead silence.
Jay Jay's POV
Every word felt like a knife.
I knew it.
Somewhere deep inside—
I always knew something wasn't right.
But hearing it?
From him?
It shattered something all over again 💔
Kiefer's POV
"But I didn't realize when it changed," I said quickly.
"When it stopped being a plan… and became real."
She didn't look at me.
Didn't react.
That scared me.
"I fell for you," I said.
"Without even knowing when."
Jay Jay's POV
"Stop."
My voice cracked.
I hated that.
"Don't say that."
Because if he said it—
If I believed it—
Then everything would hurt even more.
Kiefer's POV
"I'm not lying," I said, stepping closer.
"Everything after that… was real."
Her eyes filled with tears.
And I knew—
I was losing her again.
Jay Jay's POV
"Then why?" I asked, my voice shaking now.
"Why did you break me like that?" 😭
That was the question.
The one that mattered.
Kiefer's POV
"Because I had to."
She froze.
I hated myself for those words.
"My enemies—" I continued, voice low, serious now.
"They knew about you."
Her eyes widened slightly.
"If they thought you mattered to me… they would've used you."
Silence.
Heavy.
Real.
"So I made them believe you didn't," I finished.
"I made you believe it too."
Jay Jay's POV
My world stopped.
For a second—
Nothing made sense.
"You're lying…" I whispered.
Because the truth—
It was worse than the lie.
Kiefer's POV
"I wish I was."
I looked straight at her.
"I chose to hurt you… instead of risking losing you."
Jay Jay's POV
That was it.
Everything broke.
All at once.
The pain.
The anger.
The love I tried to bury.
It all came rushing back.
And I couldn't hold it anymore.
I stepped back—
Then forward—
Then I just—
Broke 😭💔
Tears spilled uncontrollably.
My chest hurt.
It hurts 🤕💔😵so much... .
My hands were shaking.
"I hate you…" I cried.
"I hate you so much…"
But it didn't even sound real.
Kiefer's POV
Seeing her like that—
Destroyed me.
I stepped forward instinctively.
"Jay…"
I reached out.
This time—
She didn't stop me.
Jay Jay's POV
The moment he touched me—
I lost it completely.
All the control I built—
Gone.
I grabbed his shirt, crying like a child.
Broken.
Helpless.
Everything I tried not to be 😭
"Why would you do that…" I sobbed.
"Why would you hurt me like that…"
Kiefer's POV
I pulled her closer.
Carefully.
Like she would break again if I wasn't gentle.
"I'm sorry," I whispered.
Not enough.
Never enough.
But it was all I had.
Jay Jay's POV
I didn't push him away.
I couldn't.
Not in that moment.
Because despite everything—
This was the place I once felt safe.
And I hated that it still felt the same 💔
