Chapter 12 - Unique Event(4)

...

Several heavy breaths escaped Edinowl's lips as he tried to move his arm, wrapped in thick bandages. Pain shot through his entire body, reminding him just how devastating the battle he had endured truly was. His gaze remained empty, as if his spirit had not yet fully returned to his body. The room was silent, lit only by the dim light of wall lamps that flickered slowly.

Suddenly, the door to the room opened gently. The woman he had seen amidst the chaos entered with light and calm steps. It was Eilis Mogina. Edinowl stared at her intently, without blinking. His mind was filled with big questions. This woman had saved him, but who was she really? Where did she come from? And why did she possess power that felt so terrifying yet peaceful at the same time?

"You are awake," Eilis said in a soft tone, closing the door slowly so as not to make a sound. She walked closer to Edinowl's bed, her expression calm, wearing a faint smile that concealed many secrets.

Edinowl tried to lift his head, even though it felt incredibly heavy. "Who are you... really?" His voice was hoarse and low. "I remember your face, but I do not know you. Where do you come from? And what is your purpose in coming to help me? Tell me... what is your true identity?"

Eilis chuckled softly, her laughter sounding warm yet carrying a faint note of sadness. She sat on the edge of the bed, then took out a silver ring engraved with intricate and unfamiliar magical symbols. "So many questions, from someone who only recently almost lost his life," she replied quietly. "I came only to check on you and ensure you are safe. And please, let my existence remain shrouded in mystery. If my face and presence were known to many people, especially the high-ranking officials under King Erico Roses, the situation in this kingdom would become far more serious and chaotic than you can imagine. There is much you are not yet ready to know, and many eyes are watching our every move."

She then held out the ring toward Edinowl, placing it gently into his injured palm. "Guard this ring very carefully, Edinowl. Do not lose it, and do not give it to anyone. This ring is a key, as well as proof that you have encountered something that should have vanished from history long ago."

Meanwhile, in King Erico Roses' study, the atmosphere felt incredibly tense and heavy. The air in the spacious room felt stiff, as if a great magical pressure was pressing down upon everything within it. King Erico sat upon his grand chair with a serious expression, while before him stood his two supreme commanders: Commander Eleonor Silvio, her demeanor cold and full of vigilance, and Commander Karrens Bluehost, whose hand gripped the hilt of his sword tightly, ready to act at any moment even though he knew it might be futile.

However, their focus was not on each other, but on the woman sitting casually in a guest chair, right across from the King's desk. She sat with immense grace, her back straight yet relaxed, her fingers holding a porcelain cup from which warm steam rose. She sipped its contents slowly, as if she were not in a room filled with the most powerful people in the kingdom, and as if she were not a figure who was supposed to have died hundreds of years ago.

In the kingdom's historical records, the name Eilis Mogina was written in letters of gold and black. She was the 34th Wizard King, or Magic Emperor — a legendary figure said to have fallen in a titanic battle against a combined force of Demons and Rebel Angels at the World Frontier hundreds of years ago. Her body was never found, and her death was regarded as the greatest sacrifice in history. Yet now, this woman stood before them, breathing, alive, and sipping tea calmly, leaving the three people before her confused, caught between respect, fear, and suspicion.

Eleonor Silvio broke the silence first, her voice low yet authoritative. "Eilis Mogina... or whatever name you go by now. Historical records state that you are dead. You fell fighting against the forces of darkness and ancient light. Explain to me... how is it possible that someone who died hundreds of years ago has suddenly reappeared and saved the young heir of the Roses family today?"

Eilis set her teacup down slowly onto its saucer, producing a soft ting sound that rang clearly in the quiet room. She lifted her face, looking at each of them in turn with a gaze that was sharp yet filled with ancient wisdom.

"History only writes what those who came before us allowed to be known, Commander Silvio," she answered calmly, a faint smile forming once more on her lips. "You ask why I am here? Why I did not die as written in those dusty old books? Because there are things that must be settled. There are promises that must be kept, and there are threats that did not truly perish, even after thousands of years have passed."

Commander Karrens Bluehost furrowed his brow, his tone rising slightly out of incomprehension. "Threats? Do you mean the Demons and Angels? If you have remained alive all this time, why have you only appeared now? And what is your intention in approaching Edinowl Roses? Do you intend to seize control of this kingdom by using that young boy?"

Eilis laughed softly — not out of mockery, but because the question sounded so naive to her. She leaned back against the chair, looking toward King Erico, who had remained silent all this time, observing her with a sharp yet calculating gaze.

"King Erico," Eilis called, turning the conversation toward the ruler of the kingdom. "You are wiser than these two commanders of yours. You can feel it too, can you not? That the balance of magic in this world has begun to waver. That what was defeated thousands of years ago was only put to sleep, not destroyed. I approached Edinowl not to control anything, but because he is one of the few remaining seeds of hope. And remember this well... my presence here, and the fact that I am still alive, is a secret you must bury deep within yourselves. If the world knew that the Magic Emperor, thought dead, has returned, a war far more terrifying than any you have ever imagined would break out at that very moment."

King Erico finally spoke, his voice deep and heavy. "So, you have come bearing warnings... and at the same time testing the abilities of our next generation?"

"I have come to ensure that when that great danger returns, the Kingdom of Roses and its sorcerers will not simply be wiped out," Eilis replied firmly, her gaze turning sharp and serious once again. "And for now... it is enough for you to know that I stand on the same side as you. At least for the time being."

Silence once again filled the room. Eleonor and Karrens exchanged glances, still full of doubt, yet unable to deny the aura of immense power radiating from the woman before them. Meanwhile, Eilis Mogina picked up her teacup again, as if that heavy conversation had been nothing more than casual small talk, and as if a great secret of the kingdom's history had just been revealed right before their eyes.

This is the continuation of the story, complete with dialogue, circumstances, situations, and detailed explanations following the established flow:

Inside the study, which still felt rigid and filled with tension, Commander Karrens Bluehost slowly raised his hand. From beneath his robes, he produced a Grimoire that appeared extremely ancient yet remarkably well‑preserved. Its cover was deep black, interwoven with a shimmering dark blue sheen, as if absorbing all the surrounding light. But what was most striking was the emblem engraved in the center — an intricate symbol of wings coiling around a radiant light, bearing an inscription that made anyone who read it catch their breath: "Lumenarin".

Upon seeing the object, a faint smile returned to Eilis Mogina's lips. Her gaze, previously cold and calculating, transformed into one filled with memories, as if she were looking at something deeply familiar to her. She stared intently at the grimoire, her eyes gleaming softly.

"So, something still remains…" Eilis murmured quietly, loud enough for the three of them to hear. "I thought all traces and legacies had been destroyed or lost, swallowed up by time. It appears I was wrong."

King Erico Roses, who had been observing the changes in the woman's expression, finally leaned forward slightly upon his royal chair. Curiosity and caution mingled in his tone as he spoke.

"You recognize that object, Eilis?" Erico asked slowly. "That is one of the oldest heirlooms kept within the royal family, now entrusted to Commander Bluehost. And seeing your reaction… I am increasingly certain my suspicions were correct. Tell me — do you share a deep connection with my great‑great‑grandfather, King Alderic Roses? Or perhaps with Queen Elina Thorne of the Kingdom of Thorne, our great ally who lived several hundred years ago? Your presence, your knowledge, and the way you view history… everything feels as though you lived through and existed in that era."

Before Eilis could answer, Commander Eleonor Silvio stepped forward. In her hand she now held a thick book bound in leather, its cover beginning to fray with age, and the golden lettering upon it starting to fade. She placed it upon the King's desk with a heavy sound. The title was clearly legible: "The Disidess Chronicles: 100 Years".

"The King's questions are not enough, Eilis," Eleonor said in a serious and sharp tone. "Within these hidden historical records — texts permitted only to be read by the kingdom's rulers and supreme commanders — there is one name written in red ink, recorded both as a disgrace and as one of the greatest mysteries of the Roses royal family: The Fallen King, Cedric Roses."

Eleonor looked straight into Eilis's eyes, striving to detect even the slightest reaction.

"Who was this man? Why was he titled the Fallen King? And most confusing of all… what was his relationship to the greatest figure we have ever known, The Greatest King, Alderic Roses? This book only records their names side by side, yet offers no further explanation. It is as if someone deliberately erased the truth from history. You, who lived long before that time… you surely know the answers."

The room fell completely silent. All eyes were fixed upon Eilis Mogina, awaiting an explanation from the woman who was supposed to have died thousands of years ago. Eilis drew a long breath, then set her teacup back upon the table slowly. Her previously calm expression shifted slightly, revealing sorrow and a heavy burden carried for centuries.

She sighed softly, then began to speak in a voice that was calm yet firm, answering each question one by one, while still holding back the deepest layers of the truth.

"King Alderic Roses… the figure you revere as the Greatest King — I indeed knew him well," Eilis replied slowly. "As I did Queen Elina Thorne. Together, they were the pair who successfully united two great kingdoms and brought the peace the world had longed for. The Grimoire 'Lumenarin', held by Commander Karrens, is one of the greatest creations born from the combined magical knowledge of both houses — a legacy belonging only to those who possess equal determination and power. My connection to them? I was there… as an observer, as a protector, and as a witness. But as for the rest… let that remain a memory kept only by me."

Her gaze then shifted toward the thick book lying on the desk. Her tone grew heavier as she spoke that dreaded name.

"Regarding Cedric Roses… the Fallen King… He was the own biological brother of King Alderic Roses."

The sentence took Erico, Eleonor, and Karrens by sudden surprise. They exchanged glances in disbelief. The biological brother of the Greatest King? Why had this never been taught in common history?

"Cedric and Alderic were born of the same father and mother, and possessed equal immense magical talent," Eilis continued explaining, her eyes gazing far into the distance as if watching the events of the past unfold before her. "Yet, the paths their lives took were vastly different. Alderic chose the path of light, balance, and sacrifice for the sake of his people. Cedric, however… he was consumed by a thirst for absolute power. He believed true strength could only be gained by conquering everything — even if it meant sacrificing lives and the very balance of nature itself."

"That is why he is called The Fallen King," Eilis went on. "He fell not only from the throne, but fell from his own conscience, sliding down a path of darkness deemed forbidden and dangerous by all. He was envious, he was angry, and he believed that he, not his brother, was the one who should hold the reins of power. That event became a dark stain which history sought to erase from the people's memory, so that the great name of the Roses family would remain unsullied and glorious."

Before they could ask further questions, Eilis suddenly smiled mysteriously. She raised her right hand and snapped her fingers softly.

CLICK!

In an instant, a blinding white light enveloped the entire room. King Erico, Eleonor Silvio, and Karrens Bluehost felt their bodies floating for a fraction of a second. A strange heaviness spread through them, and as the light slowly dimmed and vanished, they realized they were no longer inside the palace study.

They now stood in a place of immense proportions, far larger than any chamber they had ever seen within the palace. This was a Gigantic Laboratory. The ceiling rose high above, the walls constructed of stone and crystal that radiated a faint blue magical glow. All around them stood thousands of shelves filled with glass vials containing liquids of every color, enormous magical apparatuses, complex diagrams carved into the floor, and stacks of research books beyond counting. The air here felt cold yet saturated with a dense, potent magical energy, as if the place itself were alive.

The three stood rooted to the spot, their eyes wide with wonder and vigilance.

"W… where are we?" King Erico asked, his voice trembling slightly as he observed his surroundings, filled with advanced research equipment that, though dusty, still functioned perfectly.

Eilis walked ahead of them, moving casually as if this were her own home, and gestured for them to follow her down the vast corridor.

"Welcome to a place that is marked on no kingdom's map, and known to no one alive today but myself," Eilis said with a tone of pride tinged with sadness. "This laboratory was built centuries ago, constructed with love, perseverance… and also fear. Its builder was someone of great significance to your history… the late Queen Blossom Roses, wife of King Alderic Roses, and mother to the heir to the throne at that time."

Karrens Bluehost halted in his steps, staring at Eilis's back in confusion. "Queen Blossom? History records her as a wise Queen, deeply loved by her people, yet who passed away young due to illness… Is that not so?"

Eilis paused for a moment, then looked back over her shoulder with a sharp and meaningful gaze.

"That is what you have been led to believe, and that is what is written in history books," she replied coldly. "But the truth is far more cruel. Queen Blossom did not die of illness, and this great laboratory was not built for ordinary research. She constructed this place with one primary purpose: to find a way to stop the darkness growing within her husband's brother, Cedric Roses."

Eilis walked on, pointing toward walls covered in battle diagrams and notes regarding the handling of forbidden magic.

"Queen Blossom understood all too well the danger posed by Cedric. She knew the rivalry between the two brothers could destroy the entire kingdom. She researched everything — from pure light magic to ancient forgotten knowledge — all to find a way to save Cedric before it was too late. But alas… her efforts bore no fruit. Cedric had sunk far too deep into his ambition. He discovered the existence of this place, learned what Queen Blossom was researching, and deemed it an obstacle to his plans."

Eilis stopped before a large worktable, still neatly arranged as if its owner had only just stepped away. A thin layer of dust covered its surface. Engraved there was the royal rose emblem.

"This is where the story ends," Eilis continued, her voice soft yet distinct. "Queen Blossom Roses was murdered by the cold hand of Cedric Roses — the Fallen King himself. She was killed because she tried to halt his dark ambitions. This laboratory was then sealed and hidden away, so that Cedric's crimes would never be revealed to the public, and so that the good name of the royal family would remain preserved throughout King Alderic's reign. Cedric then vanished into the darkness, while Alderic bore the heavy burden of guilt and sorrow alone for the rest of his life."

A long silence filled the laboratory. King Erico, Eleonor, and Karrens stood motionless, struck deeply by the historical facts just revealed. The mysteries regarding the Greatest King, the Fallen King, the Queen who died young, and the legacy left behind now began to weave together into a single dark story holding countless secrets.

"And now…" Eilis said, looking at each of the three in turn, her gaze becoming sharp and serious once again. "This place, all the knowledge contained here, and the truth about Cedric Roses… now lie before you. Because I believe the time when these secrets had to remain buried has come to an end. The very same threat that Queen Blossom and King Alderic faced long ago has begun to move again. And Edinowl… is part of this new chapter of the story."

Inside that colossal laboratory, the cold air, heavy with magical energy, felt increasingly sharp against the skin. Just as silence fell following the revelation of that dark history, Eilis Mogina raised both hands before her chest, pressing them together as if in prayer or reciting an ancient incantation. A brilliant sky‑blue light began to radiate from between her fingers, growing steadily more intense until it filled the entire chamber.

A low, melodic chant echoed forth — not from her mouth, but seemingly from the very essence of that realm. Slowly, from within the blue radiance, a majestic and magnificent form took shape. The sound of powerful, heavy wingbeats was heard, shaking the floor upon which they stood. As the light dimmed slightly, the figure of a legendary creature became visible — immense in size, its plumage shimmering like pure blue gemstones, its eyes glowing softly yet radiating an unparalleled authority. It was the Blue Phoenix, one of the Ancient Beasts, a being whose existence had long been regarded merely as myth in storybooks.

"This… this cannot be…" murmured Commander Karrens Bluehost, his eyes wide with disbelief as he gazed upon the glorious creature. "The Blue Phoenix… a being said to have lived thousands of years ago, a symbol of life and pure magic…"

Eilis smiled with pride as she looked up at the giant bird, then turned toward the three of them.

"Climb aboard," Eilis commanded in a calm yet unarguable tone. "It will not harm you. This Phoenix is an old friend of mine, and the only being capable of carrying you beyond the boundaries of space and time to our next destination."

Without further ado, Eilis leaped lightly onto the creature's back, settling right at the base of its neck. King Erico, Eleonor, and Karrens glanced at one another uncertainly, yet understood that to refuse was futile in the presence of such power. Cautiously, they too climbed onto the great bird's back, which felt warm and solid beneath their feet.

With one mighty beat of its wings, strong winds struck their faces, and in an instant, their bodies rose high into the air, leaving the secret laboratory behind. They pierced through the ceiling, which they now realized was merely an illusion woven by magic, and soared freely at an incredible altitude.

The world around them changed drastically. Far below lay a sight they had never imagined possible: clusters of islands floating in the air, separated from one another by vast, bottomless chasms. These islands were surrounded by silvery clouds and streams of magical energy that flowed like rivers through the sky. Yet what truly made their hearts feel heavy and cold was not the view below, but what lay above them.

The sky overhead was pitch‑black, grey, and lifeless. There was no sun, no moon, and — most terrifying of all — not a single twinkling star. The darkness was so dense it seemed to swallow every trace of light. The only illumination came from the faint glow radiating from the Blue Phoenix itself, and the strange luminescence emanating from the rocks of the floating islands beneath.

Eleonor Silvio looked around with extreme vigilance, gripping the creature's feathers tightly to keep from falling. Her face was pale, caught between awe and horror.

"This sky…" Eleonor's voice trembled in the strong wind. "Why is it pitch‑black? Where exactly are we? We have flown far from the palace, yet I do not recognize any landmass down below — I cannot even discern the shape of the continent where the Kingdom of Roses resides."

Eilis, seated at the front with her back to them, slowly turned halfway around. Her expression remained calm, yet deep sorrow lay in her eyes as she gazed up at the empty, black sky. She spoke in a voice that remained clear despite the rushing wind.

"Do you realize? All this time, you have believed that the place where you live, where kingdoms stand, and where history is recorded, is the only world that exists," Eilis said softly but firmly. "But look around you. There are no stars, and there is no sun like the one you know in your 'Earth'. Because believe me… this place is not on Earth."

Those words caught the three of them breathless. King Erico furrowed his brow in confusion, his mind filled with immense questions.

"Not on Earth?" King Erico repeated, sounding incredulous. "What do you mean, Eilis? If not on Earth, then where do we stand now? Have we died and entered another realm?"

Eilis shook her head gently, then pointed toward the endless expanse of floating islands.

"We are situated beyond the reach of the physical world you know. This place is called Del Mundus," she explained — her tone calm yet laden with profound meaning. "It is another form of existence, a parallel dimension born at the very same moment the universe came to be. You may think of it as 'The Sorcerers' version of Earth'. This is the origin point of all magic, all energy, and all the laws that govern supernatural power. Everything that happens in your world — every battle, every form of strength, even the history you have learned… everything began right here, in Del Mundus."

This explanation shattered every understanding they had held true for so long. Their world was merely one side of a coin, while the other side was this dark yet immensely powerful place. A long silence once again enveloped them. No one dared to speak. Their minds struggled desperately to process a truth so vast and contrary to common sense — the realization that their home was only a tiny part of something far greater, older, and infinitely more mysterious.

Some time passed in silence, until finally, in the distance, a structure rose toweringly high, piercing the darkness of the sky. It was the Magic Tower, a colossal building constructed from crystals of black and deep blue, its peak lost behind clouds of energy. The structure was solid, majestic, and radiated an aura of dominion that intimidated all who looked upon it.

The Blue Phoenix gradually descended, slowed its flight, and landed softly upon a vast courtyard at the base of the tower. As their feet touched the ground once more, Eilis dismounted first, then turned to face them, still looking somewhat dazed and bewildered.

"We have arrived," Eilis said, gazing up at the towering structure before them. "This is the Magic Tower — the center of all ancient magical knowledge in Del Mundus. I must enter first and meet someone of great importance here. My arrival must be reported, and there are urgent matters I need to resolve with this person."

She then turned to the side and gestured with her hand. A figure emerged from behind one of the tower's pillars, walking closer with light steps. It was a young woman wearing a dark blue uniform adorned with the emblem of an open book upon her chest — the Assistant Guardian of the Magic Tower. She bowed respectfully toward Eilis, then observed King Erico and his two commanders with curiosity yet proper courtesy.

"While I am gone," Eilis continued, "you three will be accompanied by this Assistant. She will guide you to the most sacred section of this tower: The Ancient Library."

Eilis looked at each of them in turn with a sharp yet granting gaze.

"Stored within are thousands of scrolls and books that never have, and never will, exist on your Earth. Written there are the authentic facts, history deliberately concealed, and the truth regarding the origins of magic, races, and events from a time far older than the era of Kings Alderic or Cedric. You may look around, read, and seek answers to whatever questions still weigh upon your hearts. This is a rare opportunity that may never repeat itself for the rest of your lives."

Eilis turned, preparing to enter the massive doors of the tower, but spoke one last warning before vanishing into the shadows of the entrance.

"Do not go anywhere other than the library, and do not touch anything except the books upon the shelves. I shall return as soon as my business is concluded. Use this time well, for what you are about to read there… will change the way you view the world forever."

The Tower Assistant then smiled politely yet formally, and gestured with her hand inviting them to proceed through a side corridor.

"Please follow me, Your Majesty, My Lords," the assistant said in a soft voice that nonetheless echoed through the stone passageway. "Permit me to show you the footprints of true history engraved here, in Del Mundus."

At the base of the tower, the footsteps of King Erico, Eleonor Silvio, and Karrens Bluehost slowly moved away, following the assistant down a corridor that smelled of aged paper and thick, concentrated magical energy. Their minds were still reeling from the explanation about Del Mundus, and their curiosity grew stronger by the moment, eager to see the contents of the promised Ancient Library.

Meanwhile, at the very peak of the Magic Tower — within the highest, most enclosed chamber of all — the atmosphere felt far heavier, ancient, and filled with immense magical pressure. The room was vast, illuminated by dim light emanating from crystals embedded in the walls. In the center stood a figure whose form was indistinct yet radiated such authority that it felt as if this being were the absolute ruler of everything existing within this dimension.

The intricately carved magical doors swung wide open, and Eilis Mogina stepped in casually, showing no trace of respect or fear whatsoever, as if entering the home of an old, familiar friend. Her usually calm expression shifted into a slight smirk, full of mockery and intimacy.

"Heh, you old fossil!" Eilis called out in a loud, teasing voice that echoed throughout the vast chamber. "Have you gone deaf, or are you just pretending not to notice my arrival? Don't you want to see the unique and interesting things I've brought here? You should have been peeking all this time, right? You must have seen your own descendant standing tall down there, serving as a most vital pillar of the Kingdom of Roses... am I right, Rovela Silvio — or as history knows you, The Creator?"

The figure addressed as Rovela Silvio slowly turned around. His face appeared youthful, yet his eyes held the weight of thousands of years of experience, his gaze sharp enough to perceive the truth in all things. Without answering a single word, Rovela merely smiled faintly, then casually hurled a sphere of pitch‑black energy that spun violently in the air. This was no ordinary attack; the object possessed immense power, capable of absorbing matter, energy, and even the surrounding space into a void with a terrifying gravitational pull.

Yet, standing before this threat, which was powerful enough to obliterate an entire island, Eilis Mogina remained perfectly still, her expression cold, flat, and unyielding. When the sphere was only inches from her face, she simply raised her right hand, clenched it into a simple fist, and delivered one light punch straight into the center of the sphere.

BLAMM!!

Without a loud explosion, the matter‑absorbing orb instantly vanished, dissolving into thin smoke that faded into the air as if it had never existed at all. Eilis brushed off her hand as if merely wiping away dust or dirt, then looked at Rovela with a slightly annoyed expression.

"Hey, this is far worse than it was hundreds of years ago!" Eilis exclaimed with a soft huff. "Why is it you never change? You still love joking around and throwing dangerous things at people just when the situation is serious like this? Do you have no other way to greet a guest?"

Rovela chuckled, his laugh sounding heavy yet familiar. He walked slowly closer, his steps light yet causing the floor to tremble faintly. His eyes looked sharp, yet held a glint of admiration within them.

"Hmm... exactly the same as in the old days, aren't you..." Rovela murmured, shaking his head. "Even you remain unchanged — always surprised and never truly understanding the things I do. And yet, you are the only person who understands my nature better than anyone else... aren't you, Eilis Mogina, the true Writer of History?"

Eilis merely huffed again in reply, crossing her arms over her chest while waiting to learn why Rovela had summoned her here in secret.

Then Rovela stopped moving, a wide smile spreading across his face, though this time with a serious undertone hidden beneath it. He looked toward the large window overlooking the expanse of floating islands far below.

"Ah, what a pity," Rovela said, feigning sadness, before laughing playfully once more. "It seems it truly is our destiny to meet like this, but listen carefully, Eilis... the time has not yet come to reveal the absolute truth to Eleonor Silvio or King Erico Roses. They are not ready. Their minds are still too bound by the rules of the world below, by history as it has been printed and taught. If I were to tell them the ultimate truth now, their entire view of existence would crumble instantly — and that would be dangerous."

He turned to face Eilis, his eyes gleaming with a bright spark of invention.

"So, give them only simple facts for now. Tell them that long ago, alongside King Alderic Roses, there was a loyal companion who was always by his side — present for every journey, helping behind the scenes — a figure who loved wandering everywhere in search of answers and strength... let's just call him 'The Adventurer'. How about that? Sounds cool, doesn't it? Perfect for filling that gap in history! Hahahahaha!" His laughter boomed loudly through the peak chamber, full of triumph as if he had just invented a magnificent new legend.

Eilis Mogina simply stared at him with a look of disbelief, shaking her head repeatedly while letting out a long, heavy sigh.

"Hmm... Haaahh... very well, have it your way. I'll go along with your whims this time," Eilis replied in resignation, then turned her back to Rovela, preparing to leave. "Enough of this. I must return to them before someone down there does something foolish in the library. Until we meet again, you mad, foolish old man!"

With a single motion of her hand, Eilis Mogina's body slowly dissolved into particles of spreading blue light, then vanished completely from the room, leaving Rovela standing there alone.

Silence and stillness returned to the chamber. Rovela's laughter faded gradually, replaced by a far calmer, deeper expression filled with memories. He walked slowly toward the furthest wall of the room, where a large, ancient painting hung within a gilded frame. Depicted within were the faces of figures well‑known in ancient history: King Alderic Roses, Queen Elina Thorne, Queen Blossom, and another figure whose face was deliberately slightly blurred, but whose smile was deeply familiar — the person he had just referred to as The Adventurer.

Rovela stood motionless before the painting for a long time, gazing intently at every detail of the faces depicted there. He spoke softly, almost in a whisper, his voice full of longing and the heavy burden he had carried alone for thousands of years.

"Yes... you are right, Eilis..." he murmured, gently brushing his fingertips across the surface of the glass protecting the artwork. "Perhaps I truly have stood still here for too long... and it seems I must go away for a while. It is time for me to wander again, to see for myself how this new chapter of the story will unfold... just as I always did in the old days."

A cool breeze drifted in through the cracks in the tower's windows, fluttering the hem of the long robe worn by Rovela Silvio — The Creator, who in truth had never truly vanished from history at all. In the distance, the black sky of Del Mundus remained silent and watchful, as if itself guarding the great secret that had not yet been fully told.
