Kael was gone, and I was finally alone. Alone with the agony of being stuck between two forms. Terrified I may be stuck there forever. And, the pain continued to pulsate through my body in waves, bringing whimper after whimper from my wolf, alongside wails of sheer agonising pain from me. I feared there was to be no end to it all. But the light of the moon seemed to shift through the trees slightly; the shimmer of the moon rested upon us, and it settled Nova somewhat.
With a semblance of some sort of calm from my wolf, I was able to do exactly as Kael had suggested to me. Exactly as every training had ever suggested, and slowly with each ripple of pain my body began to transition back. I was coming back...
But as I felt my human form returning, I felt a cold chill spread over me as darkness took over, and everything went hazy...
