Maybe I had been foolish in thinking shifting would be a good idea. It hurt more than I thought it would. But, despite the pain radiating through my body, Nova was not going to let me stop. My wolf was set on being let out for a run! She pushed forward with so much force I swore she could have burst right on out of my chest! But all the enthusiasm in the world did not stop me writhing about upon the forest floor in agony as we attempted to make the transition...
But some how, Nova had managed to make it happen. We had shifted. I was just glad that nobody had been around to witness the atrocity. I must have looked like I was possessed, wailing and whimpering in pain on the forest floor, while my bones twisted every which way, as they dislocated and realigned.
