Chapter 120 - Chapter 120: Just Love Long Legs (2/3)

This villa had always been the property of Baro Bonsandi, and naturally, it contained many clothes left behind by his daughter, Per, in the bedroom wardrobes.

After searching for a long time, Syl finally found what was likely Per's room inside the massive villa.

To be honest, the Young Dragon's short little legs made running quite a struggle.

Moreover, the Young Dragon would always stop and linger whenever it saw something strange, such as a mechanical wall clock that could spit out a bird, or a shiny jewelry box.

These things always managed to pique the Young Dragon's interest, and Syl would then have to spend some time coaxing it along.

"Sigh... I should give you a name after all, since there might be many more little dragons in the future." While rummaging through the clothes, Syl said helplessly, "Hmm... white hair, let's call you Xiaobai."

The name was incredibly casual, but Syl could feel the Young Dragon's joy from a strand of hair on her own head that suddenly stood up.

Finally, Syl found many small dresses in the drawer at the bottom of the wardrobe.

They looked like ones Per wore when she was little, now kept here as mementos.

After a long time of picking, Syl finally chose a navy blue dress. Compared to the other elaborate outfits, this navy blue dress paired with a small gray shawl was more suitable for Syl to go out and find a target later.

Although the Young Dragon looked like it was only eight or nine years old, Syl was not worried at all about encountering any danger while using the Young Dragon's body.

This was the strongest card in Syl's hand; if even the Young Dragon could encounter unavoidable danger, wouldn't the other cards be even more dangerous?

After changing into the small dress, Syl fastened a small cape on herself, which fit her current 1.2-meter-tall frame perfectly.

After changing into the well-fitting clothes, Syl looked even more exquisite and cute. If someone met her on the street, Syl felt that no one could resist the temptation to go up and pinch her cheeks.

"But these eyes..." Syl looked at the full-length mirror in front of her, gently touched her eye sockets, and began to feel a bit worried.

Although she looked like a little girl now, these heterochromatic slit pupils made anyone who saw them feel that she was not an ordinary person.

If other Transcendents or knowledgeable Investigators saw them, it might actually cause some trouble.

As this thought welled up in Syl's mind, Xiaobai seemed to notice her inner thoughts and reacted.

Then, Syl's pupils changed rapidly, transforming from the original slit pupils into ordinary, round human pupils.

Although they were still heterochromatic, they looked at least much more normal, and even cuter.

"Phew... I don't hope to run into any weirdos," Syl pinched her own cheeks and said with satisfaction, "These are all my daughters."

"Oh? But it seems it doesn't think so itself ^ ^"

"Scram—"

Syl was in a pretty good mood right now and didn't bicker much with the system.

After hiding the bag of materials she had left on the cellar stairs deep inside a wardrobe, she checked once more to see if she had missed anything.

Having made all necessary preparations, Syl picked up the door key, unlocked the door, and walked out to the garden.

Kings Avenue was still deserted; there wasn't even a passing carriage.

The exquisite stone pavement and the patterns carved on the kerosene street lamps all highlighted the class of this street, yet no one lived here. This was something that made Syl feel very puzzled.

"Perhaps it's just as Barro said, there are simply no big shots living here." Syl shrugged, stopped thinking about these matters, and strode off on her little legs toward the Sule District.

Syl hadn't decided on a host for parasitism yet, so she could only walk around and try her luck.

When breaking out of the cocoon on the host, it would drain all of the target's life energy.

In other words, at the moment of parasitism, the parasitized creature was destined to become nutrients for Syl to nurture a new Young Dragon.

This was a matter involving human lives, so Syl was very cautious about it. If it really didn't work out, Syl might have to make another trip to Ibiza.

She could also take the opportunity to see what Ibiza was currently going through.

Even from as far away as the Duke District, Syl could see faint blue smoke drifting in the sky above Ibiza in the distance, appearing somewhat desolate against the blood-colored twilight.

"People in the Sule District and other areas don't seem to have been affected... Was the riot in Ibiza suppressed?" Syl felt puzzled inside.

Logically speaking, after public grievances were ignited, it shouldn't be so easy to quell them, unless they were really suppressed using iron-fisted means.

Whether to trigger follow-up quests or for parasitism, Syl had to go to Ibiza. It seemed that from the moment Syl entered the city, she had formed an inseparable bond with the Ibiza area.

After walking from Kings Avenue to the Avenue of Protection, Syl sighed slightly.

The walking speed of these short little legs was never as fast as other people's long legs, and Syl didn't like these stick-like calves either.

The Saint's legs were those round, perfectly toned, white and tender legs, just like they had walked out of an anime; they were Syl's favorite.

Next were the Physician's legs, long and with a bit of a fleshy feel, which were especially comfortable to pinch.

As for the Clown and the Casanova, those were standard long, thin legs, just like the long Western-style legs seen in movies from her past life, streamlined and full of aesthetic beauty.

As for the Missionary and the Young Dragon, they were too small in every respect, and Syl didn't want to pass any judgment.

With her head full of such random thoughts, Syl walked out of the Duke District and arrived at the slightly more crowded Sule District.

The further she walked toward the center of the Sule District, the more people there were.

Syl also stopped the random thoughts in her mind—ever since experiencing what happened between the Casanova and Tess just now, Syl's head had been full of these things, and it was hard to forget.

Shaking her head slightly to calm herself down, Syl began to focus on the crowd around her.

She was still hoping that, just like with the Clown, the Physician, and the Missionary, she would encounter some troublemakers while walking, so she could logically use parasitism.

But Syl had almost finished walking through the Sule District and hadn't found anything worth noting—except for receiving a lot of attention and many doting looks from ladies.

"Sigh... Is the Sule District really no good?" Syl shook her head, pondered for a moment, and began walking toward the Ivisa District.

It had been several days, and Syl didn't know what had happened in the Ivisa District, so now was a good time to go and see.
