The evening air slipped through the curtains of Fiona's room, making them sway like restless whispers. Cold, soft, and intrusive.
She pushed the door open and stepped inside.
Her gaze landed immediately on Fallyn already sprawled across her bed as though it belonged to her.
"You're back?" Fallyn asked casually, turning her head.
Fiona paused. "Yeah. And what exactly are you doing in my room?"
Fallyn blinked, feigning offense. "Whoa… am I still not allowed in here?"
With a sigh, Fiona dropped her bag onto the table and let herself fall onto the edge of the bed. "Your room is bigger than mine. What possible comfort are you seeking here?"
"I was waiting for you," Fallyn replied with a grin.
Fiona narrowed her eyes. "For what?"
Fallyn sat up slightly, excitement already brightening her face. "Tomorrow is Friday. Can't I go with you? It's been over a month now… can't I finally come with you this time?"
