The morning of the school trip was filled with excitement.
Students crowded around the buses, laughing, taking pictures, and talking loudly.
Sharon stood beside Mia, holding her bag.
"I love trips," Mia said. "No classes, just vibes."
Sharon smiled slightly.
Her eyes scanned the crowd.
Then she saw him.
Dylan leaned against the bus, talking to his friends. As if he felt her gaze, he looked up.
Their eyes met.
And just like that… everything felt different again.
"Come on," Mia said, pulling her toward the bus.
By some twist of fate, Sharon ended up sitting next to Dylan.
"Looks like we're stuck together," he said.
Sharon smirked. "You wish."
But she didn't move.
As the bus drove off, music played softly, and students chatted around them.
At one point, the road became bumpy, and Sharon slightly lost her balance.
Dylan instinctively steadied her.
"You okay?" he asked.
"Yeah," she said, a little flustered.
For the rest of the ride, their shoulders occasionally brushed.
And neither of them pulled away.
