"Prepare the carriage," Arain said. "But we won't be using the Luxmore crest. Paint it black. We go to Grey-Harbor not as family, but as debt collectors."
"Master," Kael interrupted, "Lord Valerius is a B-Rank mage. He has a private guard of thirty men. Going there with just the two of us... isn't it too risky?"
Arain turned to Kael, a small, chilling smile on his face. "Risk? No, Kael. For Valerius, this is a tragedy. For me, it's a shopping trip. I need his mana core to stabilize my next evolution, and I need his soul to forge a weapon worthy of a King."
Arain picked up the Queen's Heart, which was now glowing with a dark brilliance. He placed it inside the "Shadow Armory" interface of the System.
