Chapter 59 - Chapter 59: A Melee in the Shackling Prison? They’re Here! Everyone’s Here!

Inside Little Gui's livestream room.

"Eh? The perspective switched back so quickly?"

"I wanted to see more of Sushang's performance in the story," Little Gui lamented.

"Enough, enough!" Sushang said, looking completely thrilled. "I need to record the part where I appeared right now so I can go back and watch it on repeat!"

Seeing Sushang's excitement, Guinaifen said with a hint of envy, "I wish I could show my face in the story too... Even if I don't have a plotline, being a random NPC on the side of the road would be fine."

"Sigh, I'm not an important character, and I'm certainly not a government official. I guess there's no hope for me."

...

"Don't lose heart, Little Gui! You still have plenty of side quests left in this game. With your ability to stir up trouble, I bet Yu Ling will arrange a side quest for you sooner or later!"

"Little Gui, hurry up and DM Yu Ling! Considering how much popularity you've brought to Honkai: Star Rail through your streams, I think Yu Ling would agree."

"Switching perspectives is really interesting. I hope there's more of that later!"

"Hurry up and go catch Kafka! I can't wait to see 'Mom' again!"

...

Little Gui nodded. Right! Capturing Kafka was the most important thing right now! If she could actually get her hands on that "bad woman," it would be amazing. The Divination Commission would surely be able to extract all sorts of startling intelligence from her.

Back in the game story.

Tingyun said, "I have brought a helper who will surely be of use to you all. The search for Kafka is a matter of great importance; the Sky-Faring Commission cannot afford the responsibility if she manages to escape. Therefore, I used some of my connections to borrow a tracking treasure from the Artisanship Commission."

A small, bronze-colored mechanical creature blinked its eyes and looked around.

"This... it's so cute!!" March 7th exclaimed. "Wait, what kind of treasure is this? What does it do? Does it pounce on Kafka and bite her without letting go?"

Tingyun replied, "In a way, yes and no. This is a [Diting], developed by the Artisanship Commission by mimicking the five senses of the Foxian race, though its sensitivity is far greater."

"Whether it is footprints or scent, once it locks onto a specific trait, it can sniff out the traces left by the target and track them to the very end."

"Finding even the slightest trace of Kafka is enough. No matter how secretly she hides, she won't escape the [Diting]'s tracking."

To help the Astral Express crew become proficient with the Diting, Tingyun used herself as bait, letting the crew test if they could find her. Seeing the Diting's goofy, adorable expression, Guinaifen felt her heart melt.

She made a silent vow to herself: the next time she did an outdoor livestream stunt, she absolutely had to get a few Ditings like this. The entertainment value would probably double instantly!

Inside the Palace of Astrum.

Watching the Tingyun in the story act so experiencedknowing how to adapt to the environment and utilize external tools, while not forgetting to calibrate and test key items before setting outYukong felt deeply gratified.

The tail behind her couldn't help but twitch upward, and the corners of her mouth curled into a smile she couldn't suppress.

"Look at that! As expected of my most valued subordinate. Even the Astral Express crew has to follow Tingyun's instructions!"

"...Speaking of which, it's been a while since I last saw Tingyun."

"If the crew needs to head to the Shackling Prison next, I'll have her lead the way."

In Yukong's eyes, she was extremely satisfied with Tingyun's performance in the plot. She had previously been hesitating about whether to name Tingyun as her successor, but now her mind was completely at ease.

It wasn't just her; even the game developer, Yu Ling, must be very satisfied with Tingyun! Otherwise, why would Tingyun have so much screen time in the story?

The Xianzhou Luofu, the Shackling Prison.

Boom!

Seven or eight Cloud Knights were simultaneously sent flying, the weapons in their hands snapped in half. Blade was cutting a swath through the crowd, slaughtering in every direction.

However, the gap he had just broken through was immediately filled by more Cloud Knights in the next second. They were endless! No matter how many he struck down, they were like wildfireimpossible to extinguish, growing back even stronger!

Blade was immortal, but in the face of this overwhelming encirclement, he could only roar in futile rage.

Suddenly, a woman's voice rang out from the rear of the military formation.

"[Spirit Whisper]: Everyone, put down your weapons."

The Cloud Knights froze. Then, they truly began to slowly lower their weapons.

Suddenly, the ring of a sword shattered the silence! A youth stepped onto a flying sword, surfing through the air directly toward the source of the voice.

Clang!

A jade-like sword collided with a purple katana. The crisp sound of the impact jolted some of the controlled Cloud Knights awake.

After one exchange, Yanqing hovered in the air. He said coldly, "Stellaron HunterKafka, correct?"

"The General anticipated that you would come to rescue your accomplice and specifically had me wait here."

"This inescapable net was prepared specifically for you!"

Kafka smiled faintly. Her purple katana vanished, replaced by two polished submachine guns. "Don't get ahead of yourself, little brother."

Kafka suddenly thought of her ultimate move from the game. Replicating it here seemed like it would have quite an impact, didn't it?

"I'll take you down first and leave you for the General to deal with!"

Yanqing pointed his sword forward. Behind him, a row of cold, gleaming swords appeared like a peacock spreading its tail.

Swish swish swish

Each sword lunged at Kafka from a different angle.

However, suddenly, those swords seemed to fall into an invisible black hole, decomposing into countless colorful fragments before vanishing entirely.

Yanqing's expression changed. Another figure walked out from beside Kafka.

Silver Wolf blew a bubble, saying in a nonchalant tone, "Let's make this quick, Kafka. I still need to go grind the Simulated Universe in a bit."

"Alright."

Yanqing's gaze turned solemn. He raised the only sword left in his hand. "Very well. It seems I have a chance to take three Stellaron Hunters into custody at once!"

Tch

Silver Wolf glanced at Yanqing with disdain. "Where did they find this brat? How can he be so average yet so confident? Forget it, Kafka, you fight him. I don't want to leave a record of bullying children."

"Child!?" Yanqing was instantly enraged. "I am Yanqing, Lieutenant of the Cloud Knights! Villain, take my blade!"

Just as Yanqing focused all his attention on Silver Wolf, Kafka silently appeared at his side.

"[Spirit Whisper]: Stop now."

Yanqing's entire body stiffened. His sharp momentum vanished instantly. He sank to one knee, and his sword fell to the ground beside him.

The surrounding Cloud Knights tried to move in to help, but a powerful sword qi suddenly erupted from the corridor. They were instantly blown back, leaving a wide, empty space.

Silver Wolf said to the collapsed Yanqing, "I told you you were a kid, and you didn't believe me. You fell for it so easily."

Blade walked over to Kafka and Silver Wolf. The three of them prepared to leave.

Suddenly, a voice rang out!

"Oh? You don't seem that old yourself."

The corners of Kafka's mouth hooked into a subtle arc. She sighed, "Today is certainly getting interesting."

Silver Wolf's expression turned serious.

As for Blade, his eyes suddenly ignited with a blood-red light! Like a lone wolf that had suddenly caught the scent of blood, he roared toward the air, "It's you!"

"You've returned as well!"

Pristine snowflakes drifted down from the sky. Layer upon layer of ice-forged sword blades erupted from the ground, instantly forming a series of sharp ice walls that cut off the Cloud Knights behind them.

From the darkness, a white-haired woman and a blond man walked out together. The woman wore a black blindfold over her eyes. The man carried a coffin on his back.

"I am but a traveling merchant. It is truly an honor to cross paths with all of you."
