Everywhere went quiet. The atmosphere was cool as everyone stared at them. They didn't understand it the way Eris did.
This was Eris's first time bringing her here. But she had already known about this crucial part of the farmland—a part where sharp objects could injure someone and where there was a hole. One needed to be careful when walking through that route, and one also needed to have examined the land well enough to notice that dangerous spot.
As Eris casually asked her, Aya went silent. She stared at Eris and then at everyone else, who also had their curious gazes on her.
There was silence as Aya laughed it off and said, "Nothing much at all. I mean, it was obvious? Take a look at the spot—it looks so dangerous and all. So of course I would be cautious and wouldn't want anyone to step in, right?"
Eris stared at her for a while with a calm expression. He smiled with a nod as he said, "Okay, then. Sure."
