Eris hesitated, his eyes studying her. The female kept pleading in her softest ways possible, as if that would save her.
Eris stared for a while before he smiled and slowly nodded. "Okay, sure. You can come and stay for the meantime. I mean, I can't leave a vulnerable lady out here in the woods and let her die in the hands of some vicious beasts, can I?"
He smiled as the female smiled. "Thanks a lot. Thanks so much, I'm so grateful. Thanks for accepting me." She said as she slowly struggled to her feet. But it was clear that she couldn't walk with the bruise on her leg.
She still struggled to move. "Thanks for accepting me... I promise I'll forever be grateful to you."
Eris stared at her, watching her legs while observing her shaky movements as he said, "Your legs can't carry you for long. So don't strain it. Don't worry, I'll carry you." He smiled as he approached her.
