"what are you guys doing?" Amaya asked as she returned and saw them both staring at the photo on the wall
"Just looking at something" akari replied, her eyes never leaving the picture as she looked at it carefully
"Ok, anyways we have to go to our rooms now" amaya said as she began walking back, expecting them to follow
"Ok coming" kaito replied as he finally turned and started walking, following amaya to his room
Akari lingered for a while before she followed amaya and kaito back to their rooms but not before giving one last glance at the door where Itsamu and kenji went
Soon the three arrived to their room "wow we each get a our own room" amaya said as she entered her room
"Yeah and their so big" kaito said as he entered his room which was a big room with one king-sized bed and a bookshelf
"Hey Akari have you seen your room?" Kaito called out as he flopped down on his bed with a sigh
"Not yet" akari replied as she began walking to her own room which was right across from kaito's room
As akari opened the door, she was met with the same king-sized bed as kaito and Amaya's with a similar bookshelf and desk by the window while a fireplace warmed and illuminated the whole room
"Wow its so big and beautiful" akari exclaimed as she took in the sight of the room
"Told you so" kaito's voice came from the other room where he was jumping on the big king-sized and bouncy bed
Akari began to approach the desk which was made of clear glass that was dyed light blue "wow its so beautiful" akari said as she run her hands on the smooth glass of the desk
While admiring the desk, something caught her eye in the bookshelf, a photo album with the last name kage and sato engraved on it
Out of curiosity, akari opened the photo album as she saw pictures of kenji and Itsamu together with the mysterious man in the picture at the living room
Akari flipped open a few more pages until sje stumbled upon a picture of the mysterious man, holding a small little girl
The girl had her exact mismatched eyes and had the same crystal necklace that she's wearing
Akari froze as she stared at the photo,her knees buckling "who is this man?" She asked while her mind raised with questions about this man and her own identity
Suddenly a knock broke her silence "hey Akari are you ok?" Kaito asked as he knocked softly
"Yeah just settling in" akari replied trying to calm her racing heart and mind as she steadied herself
"Oh ok, good night" kaito responded, his voice fading as he went to his own room to rest
Meanwhile akari breathed out and returned the photo album back to where she saw it then she layed in bed, thinking about who the man is when she seemed to remember something
A picture! The picture that Atsemi showed her. Akari immediately sat up and went back to look at the photo album
She flipped back to the pages she saw, stopping at the photo of the mysterious man holding her
He looked just like the picture that Atsemi showed her, both are the same man. Akari's eyes widened as realization dawned on her
The man could actually be her father, akari immediately stumbled as she realized this. After a few moments of silence, akari calmed down
"This could be a coincidence" akari muttered to herself, trying to convince her. "But why did kenji not tell me?" She wondered
After a while of thinking, she got up and went outside her room to get some water, all the thinking made her thirsty
She walked through the dark hallway, only illuminated by the dim light of the doors, she kept walking until she reached the staircase that lead to the kitchen
She tiptoed slowly and carefully, trying not to wake anyone up, she succesfully got down the staircase and headed to the kitchen
While walking she passed by a room with a faint glow inside, suggesting that someone was inside
As she passed she heard two voices inside, talking. She stopped to listen to their conversation
The voice seemed to be Kenji's and Itsamu's, she heard bits of their conversation
She heard something about telling her the truth and waiting for the right time. They seemed to be talking about her
Akari pressed her ears to the door to listen more of their conversation. The voice grew more quieter and secretive
"We have to tell her soon" itsamu said quietly "but what if she finds out?" Kenji asked
"We'll figure it out" Itsamu replied as he rubbed his chin thoughtfully "we'll talk about this tomorrow, Itsamu" kenji said as he got up
"Ok kenji" itasmu said as he stood up, both of them walking to the door to get some sleep
Akari, hearing their coming out, immediately tiptoes back to her room, heart pounding at what she just heard
