Chapter 30 - Shabuya incident start

The grouping was strategically terrifying but undeniably powerful. Putting Aiden with the Zenin prodigies—Maki and Naobito—created a physical powerhouse unit, while adding Nobara gave them devastating range and finishing capabilities. Yorozu's presence added another layer of lethal technique mastery.

Kokichi watched them gather from the sidelines, his mechanical mind analyzing the team composition.

Aiden felt the shift in energy—the air grew thick with cursed power. The four barriers snapped into place around Tokyo, cutting off any normal escape. Civilians would be trapped inside, blissfully unaware until it was too late.

Naobito grunted, adjusting his glasses. "So it begins."

Maki cracked her neck, fingers gripping her spear. "Stay alert."

Cacophony. That was the only word for it.

The streets erupted in chaos as civilians, their eyes now pitch black and empty, emerged en masse—twisting their bodies in unnatural ways, mouths opening impossibly wide. Transfigured humans. Mindless puppets controlled by Mahito's cursed energy.

Nobara immediately set up nails around them defensively. "Everyone stick close!"

The ground groaned and cracked as Aiden's plant technique erupted—thick, wooden spikes thrust violently from the pavement, impaling dozens of transfigured humans instantly. Their twisted bodies pinned to the ground like macabre insect collections.

Maki glanced sideways, momentarily impressed by the ruthless efficiency. Naobito narrowed his eyes at the sight, clearly suspicious of such an unconventional cursed technique.

"Four and they all are special grade."

Naobito nearly stumbled, stopping mid-stride. Even Maki paused, her eyes widening slightly. The revelation was heavy—Aiden wasn't just a sorcerer with a stolen technique; he was commanding four Special Grade curses.

Maki recovered first, her expression turning grimly serious. "Four Special Grades... and you have full control over them?"

Naobito whistled low, the sound cutting through the noise of the approaching horde. "You're walking around with an arsenal capable of leveling Tokyo," he muttered, adjusting his glasses. "That makes you arguably the biggest hitter on the battlefield tonight."

Maki tightened her grip on her spear, looking at Aiden with renewed caution.

The news hit like a physical blow. Aiden saw it in the way Maki's shoulders tensed and Naobito's jaw clenched. Nobara's hands tightened around her hammer, knuckles white.

Yuji's desperate voice echoed over communicator: "Gojo's been sealed! I repeat, Gojo's been sealed!"

Aiden felt it—the shift in the narrative.

Nitta came and told them ijich have been attacked and she needed help to see what happened. "Nobara go with her where ever happened you should be able to handle it. The rest of us can continue clearing out the transfigured humans."

Nobara gave a sharp nod, her expression grave. "On it." She followed Nitta without hesitation, hammer at the ready. The others exchanged glances—Maki, Naobito, Yorozu and Aiden—before continuing their push through the transformed humans.

Yorozu was practically dancing through the battlefield. Her Construction Technique manifested grotesque, impossible structures—liquid metal shifting into weapons and shields in the blink of an eye. She was laughing maniacally, utterly in her element, dismantling transfigured humans with an artistic flair that bordered on terrifying.

Maki sliced through three mutants at once. "She's enjoying this way too much."

"Yes, it is and I know you're thinking Why can't Mai do what she's doing? and I'll tell you it's because of her low energy if she had special grade or grade one at least she'd be able to do half of what she's doing."

Naobito's expression flickered—something raw and bitter crossing his features before he masked it. "You know nothing about that."

Maki shot a warning glare at Aiden. "Let it go."

But Aiden was already moving on, a fresh wave of transfigured humans charging toward them.

Yorozu spun gracefully, her liquid metal forming into razor-sharp tendrils that shredded through the approaching horde like paper. She hummed a tune, seemingly untouched by the carnage around her.

Naobito's jaw tightened at Aiden's comment about Mai—a clear jab at the Zenin clan's systemic suppression of cursed energy reserves. Even Maki bristled.

"Focus,"

The word cut through the tension like a blade. Maki's spear flashed, cleaving another transfigured human in two as she pressed forward. Naobito exhaled sharply, his focus returning to the battlefield—not the old wounds.

Yorozu's laughter echoed behind them as they moved forward, leaving her to revel in her destructive artistry.

Aiden's attention shifted he could since nobara and Nitta we're in danger, moving at the speed of light and using verse to heal himself because the human body no matter how strong it was was not meant to move that fast to heal himself. He found them with a yellow haired guy with purple markings on his cheeks with a sword into nitta's ass before he could blink, Aiden was up upon him, hitting him in the face with a black flash.

The impact was thunderous. Black sparks erupted from Aiden's fist as the Black Flash connected squarely with the yellow-haired man's face—the devastating technique tearing through his skull like paper. The man's body crumpled instantly, blood spraying across the concrete.

Nitta screamed, stumbling back, clutching her wounded ass. Nobara froze, hammer raised, eyes wide.

Aiden's hands moved with practiced precision, green light swirling around his fingers as Reverse Cursed Technique flowed into both Nitta and Nobara. The invasive penetration wound on Nitta's body closed seamlessly, leaving no scar. Nobara's minor cuts and bruises vanished instantly.

The yellow-haired man's body lay broken and twitching, clearly not dead but horrifically damaged.

Smart. Brutally smart.

The yellow-haired man spasmed violently, his soul screaming even as his body remained unnaturally still. Immortality techniques typically protected the physical form—some even regenerated damage almost instantly. But damaging the soul? That was a different level of threat. Even the most potent regeneration couldn't fix a shattered soul.

Nitta gasped, clutching her now-healed ass.

Rejoining the group, Aiden found things progressing smoothly—almost too smoothly. Yorozu continued her artistic massacre, Naobito's strategic commands kept the team moving fluidly, and Maki's spearwork was a deadly dance. The transfigured humans were no match for their coordinated efforts.

The air grew thick and foul as two massive, grotesque figures materialized behind Aiden. Eso and Kechizu had been altered—no longer the grotesque brothers, their forms twisted into something eerily beautiful and terrifying, their features morphed to resemble female idols, yet retaining their horrifying cursed nature.

"Go find your brother choso and get him on our side."

The command hung heavy in the air. Eso and Kechizu's new idol-esque forms crackled with cursed energy, their glowing eyes fixed on Aiden with unsettling obedience.

"Understand," Eso's voice came out eerily melodic—still the same warped pitch underneath. "Choso... our brother."

Kechizu nodded in sync. "We will find him."

The two summonings moved with unnatural speed, disappearing into the chaos of Shibuya's streets. The remaining team members barely noticed their departure, too focused on the wave of transfigured humans closing in. Maki spun her spear, clearing a path for Aiden. "Keep your eyes front, Aiden. We're getting boxed in."

"Don't worry, I'm on it." he sent a concentrated blast at Pacific areas to kill Transfigured humans.

The blast seared through the crowd like a scalpel made of pure light. Dozens of transfigured humans collapsed in perfectly cauterized holes, their cursed energy extinguished instantly. The precision was terrifying—Aiden wasn't just destroying them; he was surgically removing threats from the battlefield.

Naobito glanced sideways, genuine surprise flickering across his weathered face. "That control..."

Maki wiped blood from her cheek, watching the light blast clear a path through the horde. "You could have mentioned you had area of effect capabilities," she muttered, though her tone carried grudging respect.

Naobito had stopped moving entirely, his analytical eyes studying Aiden with renewed intensity. "That technique... it's not just raw cursed energy output. The dispersion pattern is calculated. Precise."

"You treat cursed energy like a scalpel, not a hammer," Naobito observed, ducking under a swinging mutant limb before delivering a rapid-fire flurry of punches that dismantled his opponent. "Most sorcerers blast indiscriminately. You're picking coordinates."

Yorozu laughed nearby, melting a group of transfigured humans into a metallic slag puddle.
