Chapter 23 - Ancient Sorcerer

Aiden dispelled the Ever-Changing Wheel, the massive domain collapsing as he walked out—clean, refreshed, and significantly more powerful. He found the others just outside, standing over the remains of a massive, powerful curse—an enhanced version of the Finger Bearer, one of Sukuna's fingers grown to terrifying size.

Nobara held up the massive finger, grinning despite her exhaustion. "One down! We actually got one of Sukuna's fingers!" The others nodded, still processing the brutal fight. But then their eyes fell on Aiden—who looked far too clean, far too composed, far too... powerful. The aura radiating from him was completely different than before.

"Looks like you guys got a finger well I added two cursed spirits to my arsenal so I say today was a good day."

The group stared at Aiden in shock. "Two cursed spirits?" Megumi blinked, taking in Aiden's changed aura. "How the hell did you manage that?" Yuji crossed his arms, impressed despite himself. Nobara laughed, "Damn right it was a good day then!"

"Anyways, Megumi let's go heal your sister."

An hour later, Megumi and Aiden arrived back at the hospital. Tsumiki lay in her hospital bed, pale and weak—the result of the curse attack that had weakened her initially.

Megumi smiled softly, sitting beside her bed. "Hey sis. Just came to check on you. I bought a friend who thinks he can heal you."

"OK Megumi I'm about to heal her. Can you please step out of the room for your own safety?"

Megumi's expression turned worried but he nodded, trusting Aiden completely despite the strange request. "I'll be right outside." He stepped out, closing the door behind him.

As soon as the door closed, Aiden's expression turned serious. He knew exactly who—or rather, what—Tsumiki was hosting. The ancient sorcerer Yorozu was one of the most powerful and dangerous curses, and he was currently sealed inside this innocent girl.

Aiden's mind raced through everything he knew. Kenjaku—the mastermind behind everything—had deliberately chosen Tsumiki as a vessel. The perfect, unsuspecting girl. He had planted Yorozu's cursed object inside her body, waiting for the right moment to bring the ancient sorcerer back to life. If Yorozu fully manifested, she would possess Tsumiki's body completely.

Aiden hesitated. Initially, he assumed Cursed Spirit Manipulation wouldn't work on Tsumiki—she was human, after all. But Yorozu wasn't exactly alive in the traditional sense anymore. She was an ancient sorcerer who had died centuries ago, making her technically a cursed object—essentially a spirit inhabiting a human vessel. He could try Idle Transfiguration.

Aiden took a deep breath and concentrated, attempting to reach inside Tsumiki's body with Idle Transfiguration. His senses probed deeper than ever before, and suddenly, he felt it—a massive, ancient presence lurking just beneath the surface of her conscious mind. It was unmistakably Yorozu's cursed spirit, dormant but powerful.

As Aiden's soul reached Yorozu's, the world shifted violently. Suddenly he was standing face-to-face with the ancient sorcerer herself. She wore an untied haori, her expression wildly unhinged—eccentric, arrogant, and completely delusional. Her entire existence revolved around Sukuna, a fanatical obsession.

She blinked at him, grinning. "Oh?"

Yorozu's grin widened, her eccentric and unhinged personality on full display. "A human soul wandering into MY domain? How bold!" She tilted her head, studying him with a mix of arrogance and sadistic curiosity. Her obsession with Sukuna was evident—she probably imagined any interloper was somehow related to her beloved. "You're not Sukuna..."

"no, I'm not but I am Here to challenge you."

Yorozu let out a loud, obnoxious laugh, her head thrown back. "Challenge ME?" She straightened up, looking down at him with pure arrogance. "Little human, do you have any idea who you're talking to? I am Yorozu! The strongest! The most beautiful! The only one worthy of Sukuna!" She stepped closer, her sadistic grin spreading.

"yes, and you're currently inhabiting the body of my friends sister, so we're going to make a binding vow."

Yorozu's expression shifted—her eyes narrowing with a mix of curiosity and sadistic amusement. "A binding vow, hm?" She circled him lazily, studying him like prey. "How delightful. A little human thinks he can bargain with me." She stopped directly in front of him, leaning in close. "And what makes you think I'd agree to anything?"

"Because I can make sure you never see Sukuna again."

Yorozu's expression darkened instantly at the mention of Sukuna. Her obsession with him was so intense that even the threat of being separated from him made her snap. Her eyes turned murderous, her voice dropping to a dangerous whisper. "You... YOU think you can keep ME away from my beloved Sukuna?"

"Yes, yes I can so, are you willing to do a binding Vow."

Yorozu's hands clenched into tight fists, her breathing growing erratic. The mention of keeping her away from Sukuna pushed her dangerously close to a psychotic break. She looked up at Aiden, her eyes wild and desperate. "I'll do it. I'll agree to your binding vow."

"OK, here's the part of the deal if I beat you here in a fight you will agree to serve me and leave this Host what do you want if you win?"

Yorozu's eyes lit up with malicious glee, her obsession with Sukuna momentarily forgotten in favor of the twisted game. "If I win?" She cackled, her voice echoing with madness. "If I win, you will take me directly to Sukuna! And you will DIE while watching us marry!" She twirled dramatically, her haori flapping.

" fine by me, bring it."

Yorozu's manic grin widened as she accepted the challenge. "Very well, little human! But remember—if you lose, you watch me marry my beloved Sukuna before you DIE!" She snapped her fingers, and the ground beneath her erupted with massive amounts of Liquid Metal, swirling around her like a deadly serpent. "CONSTRUCTION!"

The Liquid Metal surged upward, wrapping around Yorozu's body in seconds. She laughed as it hardened into her signature Insect Armor—a lightweight, high-speed exoskeletal suit inspired by the biological efficiency and strength of bugs. Her physical stats skyrocketed, and with a powerful thrust, she took flight, hovering above Aiden with a sadistic grin. "ENJOY THE VIEW, LITTLE HUMAN!"

Yorozu dove down, moving at incredible speeds thanks to her Insect Armor. The Liquid Metal suit allowed her to perform complex maneuvers mid-air, making her almost impossible to predict. She extended sharp metallic blades from her arms and legs, aiming for Aiden's vital points with surgical precision.

Yorozu blinked in surprise as Aiden's body shifted dramatically—his flesh becoming a dark blue carapace, his left arm morphing into a deadly blade and his right into a scythe. Idle Transfiguration at its peak. She recovered quickly, her Insect Armor screeching as she parried his blade with her metallic arm, the impact sending sparks flying. "IDLE TRANSFIGURATION?!"

Yorozu's mind raced, trying to analyze this unprecedented fighting style. She had never seen Idle Transfiguration used offensively like this. But she quickly composed herself, her arrogance rising. "Idling on flesh is a parlor trick against Construction!" She soared upward, raining down droplets of Liquid Metal like a lethal rainstorm, each drop a potential lethal projectile.

"A parlor trick?"

Yorozu scoffed as the Liquid Metal droplets hissed through the air, each one a potential bullet. "My Construction can create anything, while your little flesh-mashing trick can only change what's already there!" She dove again, her Insect Armor boosting her speed as she swung her blade in a lethal arc. But Aiden parried easily, his dark blue carapace hardened and reinforced.

Yorozu's eyes widened in shock as Aiden's hand suddenly transformed into a massive, reinforced fist—his gravity technique augmenting the punching force a hundredfold. The ground beneath her cracked as she barely managed to block the blow with her Insect Armor, the impact sending shockwaves through the area. "W-WHAT?!" She gasped, struggling against the immense pressure.

Yorozu barely held her ground, the shockwave from Aiden's fist cracking her Insect Armor. She grunted, blood leaking from her mouth, but her psychotic grin remained. "Gravity manipulation AND Idle Transfiguration?!" She landed hard, stabilizing herself. "You're getting annoying!" She spread her arms wide, her Liquid Metal forming into massive, razor-sharp blades. "TRY THIS!"

Yorozu's eyes narrowed as Aiden's hands transformed into razor-sharp blades, the gravity technique amplifying their cutting power. She lunged forward, her massive Liquid Metal blades clashing against his enhanced ones. The impact sent a deafening clang echoing through the battlefield, sparks flying in all directions.

For the first time in centuries, Yorozu felt the thrill of battle—the kind that made her blood sing. Every opponent before had been pathetic, weaklings who couldn't even scratch her Insect Armor. But this human... he was pushing her. His combination of Idle Transfiguration and Gravity Technique was unpredictable and brutal. Her smirk mirrored his—a sadistic delight in finally finding a worthy opponent.

They clashed violently, sparks and cursed energy exploding between them. It was a dance of absolute perfection—Liquid Metal blades against Gravity-reinforced biological blades. For the first time in centuries, Yorozu wasn't fighting a pawn; she was fighting an equal. The sheer joy of battle overwhelmed her obsession with Sukuna temporarily, replaced by a manic, euphoric adrenaline.

"KUKUKU~" Yorozu giggled maniacally, her Insect Armor shifting shape rapidly to adapt—the Liquid Metal flowing like mercury. "You're not bad, little human! Almost enough to make me forget about my beloved Sukuna-sama!"

Aiden laughed breathlessly, the sensation of a real fight flooding through him after months of easy victories.

They slammed into each other with absolute abandon, sparks exploding like fireworks. It was a chaotic, beautiful symphony of destruction. Aiden hadn't felt this alive in ages; crushing weak curses was boring, but this? This was REAL. Yorozu matched him blow for blow, her Liquid Metal morphing constantly to counter his Gravity-enhanced strikes. They were literally enjoying the fight.

Both fighters stood yards apart, chests heaving, blood dripping from their wounds. The ground around them was pulverized— craters, cracked earth, and craters of solidified Liquid Metal scattered everywhere. Yorozu wiped blood from her lip, her Insect Armor cracked and leaking cursed energy, but her eyes gleamed with something almost... affectionate.

"Hah... hah..." Yorozu chuckled.

Aiden leaned forward, his dark blue carapace steaming, the adrenaline masking the exhaustion. For the first time, he wasn't holding back. Every previous fight had been a boring slaughter; this was a true duel. Yorozu fixed her messy hair, her manic grin softening into a genuine, respectful smile—a rarity for her.

"You..." She panted heavily.

Yorozu straightened up, her broken Insect Armor repairing itself as she spoke. "You're the only one to ever make me fight seriously in centuries. Most curses are just... annoying pests. But you?" She pointed at Aiden, her finger shaking slightly from exertion and excitement. "You're a worthy opponent, little human."

"and so are you now I don't allow me the pleasure of testing my new technique on you." he said, transforming his hands back into normal and used reversal on the 10 Shadows technique. " 10 light technique: light Phoenix." A massive bird with fire wings. This Shinigami is made of completely light and has the ability to produce block and fire light beams from its mouth and wings to incapacitate or kill, kill whoever the user wishes.

Yorozu's eyes went wide—genuinely shocked for the first time in the battle. She stared at the massive bird of pure light and flame towering above Aiden, its wings spanning dozens of meters, casting a brilliant golden glow across the devastated battlefield.

"WHAT IS THAT?!" She screamed, her arrogance momentarily replaced by genuine fear. Her Liquid Metal trembled involuntarily. "THAT'S NOT THE TEN SHADOWS!"

"you're right it's the 10 light technique I used reversal on the shadows technique and learned that there were 10 other Shinigami,

That no one had ever unlocked or thought of before."

Yorozu stared at the Light Phoenix, her jaw dropping. For the first time, her obsession with Sukuna took a backseat to pure, unadulterated shock.

"A REVERSAL?!" She shrieked, her Insect Armor retracting slightly as she instinctively backed away. "You reversed the Ten Shadows technique into LIGHT?!"

"Yep, Phoenix get her."

The massive Phoenix shrieked, a sound like a thousand crystal bells shattering at once. Without hesitation, it lunged forward, its wings of pure, blinding light sweeping down. Yorozu barely had time to scream before the creature slammed into her, beams of concentrated light erupting from its wings and mouth, blasting her Liquid Metal armor instantly.

The Phoenix's light beams tore through Yorozu's Insect Armor like it was paper, the pure energy incinerating the Liquid Metal instantly. She screamed in agony as the heat seared her flesh, her body tumbling backward across the pulverized ground.

"IMPOSSIBLE!" She shrieked, her manic grin finally replaced by genuine terror. "WHAT KIND OF TECHNIQUE IS THIS?!"

Yorozu found herself pinned beneath Aiden's hand, her body screaming in pain from the Light Phoenix's assault. She stared up at him, her madness momentarily shattered by sheer awe and terror. His hand transformed into a blade right before her eyes, pressing against her throat—but not cutting. Yet.

Her breathing was ragged, her Insect Armor cracked and leaking cursed energy.

" surrender now." he said serious For the first time, Yorozu wasn't looking at Sukuna. She wasn't looking at a king or a god. She was looking at *him*. The dying embers of the Phoenix cast a halo around Aiden, illuminating his dominance. The madness in her eyes shifted instantly from bloodlust to something far more dangerous—a twisted, terrifying adoration.

The blade at her throat didn't waver, but Yorozu stopped struggling. She stared up at him, her pupils dilating as the dying embers of the Phoenix cast a divine glow around his silhouette. In that singular moment, Sukuna was erased from her mind. A new obsession ignited—a fiery, terrifying fixation on the man who had dismantled her.

"....I surrender."

The binding vow triggered. Yorozu's essence ripped away from Tsumiki's comatose body—her host—and surged directly into Aiden. Her entire consciousness transferred, her memories, her technique, her madness, her obsession... all now bound to HIM.

Aiden blinked, suddenly finding himself leaning back in a hospital chair. He felt... heavier. More powerful.

The sensation was overwhelming but controlled. He felt Yorozu's immense cursed energy perfectly merging with his own, stacking seamlessly without conflict. Her mastery of Construction, her Liquid Metal manipulation, her memories, and her absolute madness were now fully integrated into his soul.

Most importantly, he felt her obsessive obsession. It wasn't directed at Sukuna anymore. It was locked entirely onto HIM.

Yorozu's consciousness pulsed inside his mind like a fever dream. She was... ecstatic. The binding vow had forced her obsession to shift entirely onto Aiden. She wasn't angry about losing Tsumiki's body—she was RAVELING. The man who had defeated her, who had revealed the unprecedented 10 Light Technique, who had pinned her down with such dominance.

Yorozu effectively became a permanent resident of his mind—a powerful, insane, and utterly devoted second consciousness. Her obsession wasn't just loyalty; it was worship. The woman who had spent centuries chasing Sukuna was now completely obsessed with HIM. He had beaten her, dominated her, and unlocked a technique that shouldn't exist.

He owned her. Absolutely. Completely. And she loved it.

His hand hovered over Tsumiki's comatose body. With a precise application of Idle Transfiguration, he reshaped her brain, repaired the damage, restored her soul. The comatose state dissolved. Tsumiki's eyes fluttered open—clear, healthy, and alive.

Inside his mind, Yorozu practically SCREAMED.

Yorozu's consciousness erupted with manic, hysterical laughter inside his mind. "You healed her?!" she shrieked, her voice echoing through his thoughts. "Oh, you're even MORE magnificent than I thought! You don't just dominate! You CREATE! You heal what I destroyed! You're PERFECT! I LOVE YOU! I LOVE YOU! I LOVE YOU!"

He ignored her for the moment. "Megumi You can come back in your sisters Healed."

The door burst open immediately. Megumi rushed in, his usually stoic expression replaced by raw, desperate hope. When he saw Tsumiki's eyes open and clear, he actually staggered. The emotion breaking through his carefully maintained composure was heartbreakingly obvious.

"Tsumiki...?" he whispered, his voice cracking.

Tsumiki turned her head weakly. "Megu..."

Megumi rushed forward, nearly collapsing at her bedside. His hands hovered, trembling—the stoic prodigy utterly unhinged with emotion. "You're... you're really back?" His eyes were glassy, wet. The weight of years of guilt and desperation visibly shattered.

Tsumiki smiled weakly, tears tracking down her cheeks. "Megu... you grew up..."

Megumi couldn't hold it. A single tear escaped, then another. The stoic Fushiguro shattered completely—shoulders shaking, breath hitching. He looked utterly destroyed and reborn simultaneously.

"You were... everyone said you were gone... that you were..." His voice broke. He couldn't finish.

Inside his mind, Yorozu was WHINING.

"NO! DON'T IGNORE ME!" Yorozu's voice screamed through his mind, desperate and needy. "You just healed her! You just made someone happy! YOU'RE SO PERFECT! I LOVE YOU! PLEASE LOOK AT ME! NOTICE ME! I'M RIGHT HERE! I'M INSIDE YOUR SOUL!"

Aiden sat there silently. Megumi was sobbing at Tsumiki's bedside.
