Chapter 10 - Making a friend

Inside his dorm room, Aiden summoned the Special Grade Cursed Spirit with a simple gesture. The room shook as the massive beast appeared, only to be instantly transformed into a petite, busty girl with long, curly hair and doe eyes. She stood shyly, looking around Aiden's room.

"Hello again Finger Bearer Or should I just call you bearer?"

The transformed cursed spirit—now a petite, busty girl with long curly hair and doe eyes—tilted her head, her expression soft and innocent. But her voice still carried that eerie, ancient resonance.

"You may call me whatever pleases you, master," she replied, her doe eyes gazing up at him with unsettling devotion. She crossed her small hands behind her back demurely.

"junpei yoshino is who I want you to find."

The Finger Bearer's delicate face twisted into something unreadable. "Junpei Yoshino." She repeated the name like a prayer. Her eyes flickered as she searched her cursed memories. "Ah... yes. A boy with potential. He is currently in Sendai. The high school. There are others there too." She paused, a strange, unsettling smile creeping across her pretty face. "Shall I bring him to you?"

"Take me to him."

"As you wish, Master." The Finger Bearer bowed low, her long curls brushing the floor. When she rose, she extended a delicate, pale hand toward him. "Follow me."

Without waiting, she turned and walked straight through the dorm room wall, leaving a perfectly shaped silhouette-sized hole. She didn't walk around obstacles—she simply glided through them like they didn't exist.

The Finger Bearer glided through walls and solid objects with eerie grace, her tiny form passing through obstacles like a ghost. Behind her, Aiden had no choice but to follow, stepping through the hole she left in his dorm wall.

"This way, Master," she said, her voice echoing softly. "The boy is close. I can feel his... delicious potential."

"I never asked what was your Technique I am assuming it has something to do with space."

"You perceive keenly, Master," the Finger Bearer replied, gliding seamlessly through a concrete fence without slowing down. "My technique allows me to traverse and manipulate spatial boundaries. I can phase through matter, fold distances, and exist between the 'here' and the 'there'." She paused, glancing back with those innocent doe eyes. "Essentially..."

"You can teleport."

"Teleportation is such a... rudimentary word," she purred, her dainty fingers tracing through the air as if weaving unseen threads. "I do not simply move from point A to point B. I collapse the space between them, exist in multiple places simultaneously, and step through the very fabric of reality."

She stopped suddenly, turning to face Aiden. "We are close now. The boy... Junpei Yoshino."

They materialized on the far side of the school building—Sendai Jujutsu High. The Finger Bearer's spatial technique had folded distance seamlessly. The campus looked peaceful, ordinary. Students milling about. Trees swaying.

"The boy's cursed energy signature is unmistakable," she murmured, her doe eyes scanning the grounds. "Isolated. Pained. Desperate."

"OK, thanks for the help now. Return."

With perfect obedience, the transformed Finger Bearer bowed deeply. "As you command, Master."

In an instant, her petite, busty form folded into spatial geometry, collapsing into nothingness and vanishing completely. She returned immediately to his dormant reserves, leaving Aiden standing alone behind the school building.

grants could be heard from the other side of the building. as well as signs of a fight.

Aiden rounded the corner and stopped. Three boys were towering over Junpei Yoshino, their faces twisted with cruel laughter. The boy in the middle shoved Junpei against the wall hard enough to make his head snap back with a sickening thud.

And standing a few feet back, arms crossed, a dark-haired girl watched with cold satisfaction. She wasn't physically participating. She was just... enjoying it.

"What do you think you're doing?"

The three bullies froze. The one who had just shoved Junpei turned slowly, his sneer faltering. "Who the hell are you?"

Aiden stepped closer, his presence suddenly weighing on the air. The girl in the back shifted uncomfortably, her eyes widening slightly. Junpei slumped against the wall, bleeding from a split lip, looking up with desperate, confused eyes.

"I'm the guy who's going to kick your ass if you don't leave him alone."

The biggest of the three boys laughed, puffing out his chest. "Kick our ass? You and what army, asshole?" He stepped forward, cracking his knuckles. "We're doing you a favor. The freak doesn't belong here—"

Junpei winced as the mention of his uniqueness to see things that aren't there. The girl in the back smirked, crossing her arms tighter.

Aiden was already in front of them and punched him hard in the gut,The punch landed with a sickening wet crunch. The boy's eyes bulged as the air whooshed out of his lungs, his body folding around Aiden's fist before launching backward like a ragdoll. He slammed into the brick wall with enough force to crack the concrete, then crumpled to the ground, unconscious.

Silence fell. The other two bullies stared, frozen.

"If I see you harassing him again, you won't be a much better shape than him."

The two remaining bullies nodded frantically, their faces pale. They scrambled over to their unconscious friend, practically dragging him away as they fled the scene, terrified to even look back.

The girl in the back stood frozen for a second, her arrogance completely shattered. She swallowed hard, gave Aiden a terrified, wide-eyed look, and then sprinted after the boys, abandoning her cruel entertainment.

"That includes you too."

The girl froze mid-step, her face draining of all color. She turned slowly, terror written plainly across her features. She opened her mouth to say something, then thought better of it. Instead, she simply nodded frantically, tears pricking her eyes, before sprinting away faster than the boys.

The alleyway fell silent, leaving only Aiden and a battered Junpei. He Reached his hand down to help Junpei up

Junpei stared at the offered hand like it was a foreign object. He'd never seen anyone defend him before. Not once. His bottom lip trembled, both from fear and overwhelming emotion. Slowly—very slowly—he reached up and took it.

Aiden's grip was steady, powerful. Firm. It anchored him as he was hauled up, still stumbling on weak legs. "Y-you..." Junpei choked out, wiping his bleeding lip.

"...Why?" Junpei finally managed, his voice cracking. He was smaller than Aiden expected, wiry and pale, with messy dark hair and eyes that looked like they'd seen too much. "Nobody... nobody ever..." His words dissolved into a sob he tried desperately to suppress.

The girl's cruel words echoed in his head: "Freak who sees things that aren't there."

"You think you're crazy don't you?"

Junpei flinched at the question, his eyes darting away as he looked down at his shoes. "Th-they say I am. And I... I know they're right." He wiped his bloody lip with the back of his hand, leaving a smear of red across his cheek. "I see things. People... monsters... that no one else sees." He let out a broken laugh. "Everyone thinks I'm insane."

"Buddy, you're not crazy. What, you're actually seeing are cursed spirits."

Junpei's head snapped up, his eyes widening in shock. "What... what do you mean?" He searched Aiden's face desperately, looking for any sign of mockery or deceit. "You can see them too? The... the things I see?" His voice trembled with hope and fear.

"Yep and trust me, buddy were not the only ones."

Junpei's legs gave out. Aiden caught him before he hit the ground, holding the trembling boy steady. Tears streamed down Junpei's face now, years of isolation and ridicule finally cracking open.

"There's... there's others?" His voice was barely a whisper. "I'm not—" He choked on the word "crazy," unable to say it.

"you're not crazy where's your house? It would probably be better to explain this to your parents and to you as well at the same time."

Junpei gave him a shaky address between sobs, still disbelieving that someone not only believed him but seemed to understand. Aiden walked with him, one arm supportive around his shoulders, the other ready to vaporize anyone who so much as looked at them wrong.

They arrived at a modest suburban home.

His mother was the one who opened the door.Junpei's mom (Nagi Yoshino) is a young-looking, attractive woman with shoulder-length, straight black hair. She has a laid-back, somewhat casual style, often seen in simple tops and known to be a heavy drinker and smoker.

Nagi took one look at her son's bloodied face and Aiden's arm around him, and her expression shifted from mild surprise to instant concern and motherly fury. "Junpei! What the hell happened?!" She pulled him into a tight hug, glaring accusingly at Aiden. "And who the fuck are you?"

"hello there miss Yoshino my name is Aiden and there's something I must discuss with you and your son."
