Christopher lowered his eyes. If it weren't for Janice asking him about it, he would never want to recall what happened that day, for he felt as if it was even more disgusting than eating a fly.

This was what Janice felt most angry about. Although she could understand Christopher's kindness, she thought his friend was too irresponsible and did not deserve to be called a friend at all.
