🌧️ The Light of Waiting
In a small slum of Dhaka lived a girl named Maya. Her name was beautiful, but her life was full of hardship. She lost her father when she was very young, and her mother worked in other people's houses to somehow manage their living.
Maya had a dream—she wanted to become a doctor.
But reality was tough. After school, she used to tutor younger students, work in houses, and at night she studied for herself. Many days, she had to stay hungry.
One day, a teacher asked her in class,
"Maya, what do you want to be when you grow up?"
With her head down, she replied,
"Sir, I want to be a doctor… but I don't know if I can…"
The teacher smiled gently and said,
"When your dream is big, the path finds its way."
That sentence became a light in Maya's life.
🌙 The Beginning of Struggle
Before her SSC exam, Maya's mother became seriously ill. There was no money for treatment. Maya started working day and night.
One night, she was sitting and crying in front of a hospital. An old man came and sat beside her.
"Why are you crying, child?" he asked.
Maya told him everything.
He listened quietly, then said,
"The harder life is, the stronger you become. Don't give up."
He gave her some money and left.
With that money, Maya managed her mother's treatment. And she made her mind even stronger.

That one line made her stand strong again.

After years of hard work, Maya finally got admitted into a medical college.
That day, holding her mother's hand, she cried and said,
"Mom, I did it…"
Her mother smiled and said,
"I always knew you would."

Doctor Maya was treating patients in a hospital. Suddenly, an old man was brought in—his condition was critical.
Maya froze…
It was the same man who once helped her.
She tried her best to save him, but she couldn't.
