The girl had the audacity to show her middle finger to me—the King, President of Section E.
No one dares to talk to me like that.
She's annoying. Frustrating.
…And not what she looks like.
Even Aries said it.
She looks calm—but no way.There's fire in her eyes.
The kind you don't ignore.

No one looks at me like that.
I have to do something.Before Yuri comes.
He'd be really disappointed if I don't get this brat out of our section.

I smirked.
Aries.
We fist-bumped before he could say anything—when suddenly someone jumped on my back.
I didn't even turn.
"keiffy baby, did you miss my handsome face?" 😏
I rolled my eyes. "What's wrong with him? Is he gay or something?"
"I did not miss you. Get off."
We almost fell.
"Gee, stay away."
I shot him a look. "Get down."
Finally.
"aries, baby. Look here—he didn't miss me. he is bullying me again." 😤
Aries gave him the same disgusted look.
" you all are jealous of my handsomeness," Percy added dramatically.
"Please stop," I muttered. "I'm already annoyed."
I ran a hand through my hair.
"That girl… I just want her out of our section."
Aries let out a quiet laugh.
"Oh, you mean my cousin?"
I stilled.
"I told you," he continued, "but you were like,
'How bad can she be?'"
I scoffed. "
You haven't seen her properly. She's worse."
"Whatever annoying thing she did to you?" he said. "That's nothing."
He exhaled.
"Okay,
but
why do you hate Jay so much?"
he ignored that.
"Let's go."
We were still talking when we reached the canteen.
Loud. Crowded. Chaotic.
Percy, of course, didn't care.
"Bro, I swear this canteen got hotter as I just walked in." 😌
"Sit down," I said. "No one's looking at you."
"They want to," he grinned. "They're just intimidated."
"By what?" Aries asked. "Your confidence or your delusion?"
"Same thing."
We kept walking.
Percy suddenly leaned forward. "Wait… who's that?"
"Don't," I warned.
"What? I'm just appreciating beauty."
"You appreciate every girl," Aries said.
"Correction—I respect all forms of art." 🎭
Aries' gaze shifted past us.
He slowed slightly.
"…JAY JAY."
Percy blinked. "Oh?"
I followed his line of sight.
Her.
Of course.
Percy leaned in like he'd just discovered something life-changing.
"Wait… that's Jay Jay?"
A pause.
Then
"Damn. She's pretty though."
"Percy," I warned.
"What?" he shrugged. "I'm just saying. You didn't mention that part."
Aries didn't respond.
His eyes were still on her.
For a second too long.
Then he looked away.
"I'm getting lunch," he said casually, stepping ahead.
"Yeah, go," Percy grinned. "Fuel up before your anger issues continue." 😏
I exhaled, already irritated.
Percy, of course, wasn't done.
"Still though… Jay, huh?" he murmured. "Interesting."
Aries wasn't even looking when he walked straight into someone.
Jay's POV
I didn't even see him coming.
"Shit—!"
The cup slipped from my hand, and the juice went straight onto his shoes.
White sneakers.
Of course.
"Oh shit…"

Yeah. I did.
Great, Jay. First day only and you're already attracting trouble. 😭
I slowly looked up—
—and my stomach dropped.
Him.
The same guy.
The one who clearly already couldn't stand me.
…Aries.
For a second, everything just… stopped.
His eyes went from his shoes ... to me.
Sharp.
Annoyed.
And yeah—I wasn't looking away either.
"Did she really just—"
"She spilled it on him…"
"She knows him?"
"Is she new her??—"
"She's pretty though…"
The whispers started.
Not even quiet.
Wow. Day one and I'm already a topic.

From the corner of my eye, I noticed movement.
Behind him—
two guys.
One of them… yeah, I recognized him.
Kiefer.
Of course he was here.
And next to him—
some guy fixing his hair like the canteen was his personal photoshoot.
Monkey, I decided instantly. 🐒
Before I could think more—
an arm casually slipped around my shoulder.
"So… you guys have already met?"
Rakhi.
Perfect timing.
She looked way too amused.
"Let me introduce you properly," she said."This is the girl I was talking about earlier—the new transfer. Jay."
Oh.
So I was that girl.
"And Jay—"
"I know," I cut in.
My eyes flickered back to him.
Aries.
Kiefer's friend.
…That explains a lot.
More footsteps.
I turned slightly.
Two girls approached from behind.
One had a calm, soft smile—simple, effortless.
The other—taller, sharper, red ruby shoes. A little more styled, more defined.
Both pretty.
Confident.
Something about the way they walked in—together, comfortable—
yeah… they weren't new here.
The calm one glanced at Aries.
And he looked back.
Just for a second.
Easy.
Familiar.
Like it had happened before… and would again.
I didn't know what that meant.
And honestly?
I wasn't going to overthink it.
"Hi, you must be Jay Jay."
I blinked.
A guy stepped forward—confident, easy smile.
"Kiko Evans."
I shook his hand.
"Wow," I said dryly, "I'm already this famous?"
He smiled. "You have no idea." 😉
"So," someone asked, "you're in Section E, right?"
"Yeah."
"With Kiefer and Yuri?"
Yuri?
Who's Yuri?
I nodded anyway. "Yeah."
"And you survived your first day?"
A few laughs.
"Barely."
"Not surprising."
His voice.
Calm. Flat.
I looked at Aries.
"Oh?" I said. "And why is that?"
He tilted his head slightly.
"People who don't know where they belong usually struggle."
Silence.
I paused.
Then smiled.
"Funny," I said lightly, "I was just thinking the same about you."
"Damn," someone behind him muttered.
Even Kiefer looked like—
oh, this just got interesting.
Yeah.
It still stung a little.
But no way was I showing that.
