Nathan said, "There's honestly no issue with it. You're gay and I'm straight. Cool."
"If you say so." Dylan replied, giving a small shrug, and Nathan nodded in agreement, the tension easing between them.
Soon, they said their goodbyes, and Dylan entered his Uber which had just arrived, taking him straight to the L.A district club.
Dylan entered the club, and unlike the previous day, it wasn't as bustling or overwhelming as before. Now, it felt more like a calm bar and resting area, with soft music playing in the background and a few scattered groups occupying different corners. The other rooms around the area remained active, but the main floor lacked energy.
He walked up to the bar area and requested Mr. Bright as needed, and shortly after, the man showed up.
"Oh…Dylan," he said, "You are 20 minutes late. I've been expecting you."
"I'm sorry, I was caught up with an assignment. I hope it hasn't stressed you much."
