Chapter 4 - CHAPTER 4 — THE TENNIS MATCH AND THE AWAKENING

I was really curious about what he was saying. I remember that once I went to a tennis tournament...

It was a normal day back then, nothing like the chaos happening now. The sun was shining, the courts were buzzing with energy, and the audience was packed into the stands, murmuring with excitement. I had entered the tournament mostly for fun—I wasn't exactly a professional, but with my reflexes and brain, I knew I could handle myself.

My opponent was way taller than me, probably stronger too. He smirked when he saw me, like I was some easy win. That annoyed me more than anything. The match started, and he immediately served with insane power. The ball shot toward me like a bullet.

But I could see it. Every detail.

The spin.

The speed.

The angle.

It was like time slowed down for me.

I stepped forward and returned it cleanly. The sound of the racket hitting the ball echoed sharply across the court. The crowd reacted instantly—some surprised, some impressed. My opponent frowned.

We kept going.

Back and forth.

Faster and faster.

Each rally got more intense. My body started heating up, my breathing becoming deeper, sharper. Something felt… different. My focus narrowed until nothing else existed except the ball and my opponent.

Then it happened.

He smashed the ball toward me with everything he had. It should've been impossible to return.

But in that moment… something inside me snapped into place.

My breathing changed.

Not normal breathing.

Something controlled. Something powerful.

I swung.

And as I did, I felt a strange force surge through my body—like the wind itself was moving with me.

"Nature Breathing: First Form, Hurricane."

The words came out of my mouth without me even thinking.

The ball didn't just return—it spiraled violently, cutting through the air with unnatural speed and force. It slammed into the ground on his side, bouncing past him before he could even react.

Silence.

Then—

The crowd erupted.

People stood up, shouting, clapping, completely shocked at what they had just seen. My opponent just stood there, frozen, his racket hanging loosely in his hand.

I didn't understand what I had just done.

But I knew one thing.

That wasn't normal.

And now, after meeting that strange man in the snow…

It all started to make sense.

Or maybe…

It made things even more confusing.
