Chapter 316 - 316

Chapter 513: Grayhound Resurrection

It is unknown when samples of certain parasites began appearing on the battlefields of conflict, and even in peaceful regions, shadows of control utilizing these parasites were lurking.

Although large-scale bioterrorist attacks have not yet erupted, every region is secretly beginning to thoroughly investigate the territories under its jurisdiction, checking if there are sects similar to the Church of Light silently controlling large numbers of villagers.

Just then, Terragrigia, which had existed as ruins, was recently put on the agenda for redevelopment.

It would truly be a pity to let this aquatic city go to waste. The bioterrorism that occurred back then could have been suppressed and eliminated. It was only because Morgan wanted to destroy the evidence that he prematurely activated the Solar Matrix Satellite to attack and cleanse the city.

This is what led to Morgan's abnormal behavior, causing his blunder to be seized upon, resulting in him being instantly pulled down from power.

Recently, many unknown, living chunks of flesh have been discovered along the shores near Terragrigia. Fortunately, these chunks of flesh do not move quickly on land and can easily be kited to death.

Chris also led a team here to carry out bioweapon cleanup work. As a professional veteran, Chris felt he could still keep fighting for a few more years, and perhaps then he could retire.

Eddie also arrived nearby, accompanied by a beautiful young woman. She looked eighteen, pure and lovely. This wasn't a new girlfriend, but his daughter, Uma, born to Claire.

"Hey, Chris, I heard you found a girlfriend. When are you planning to get married? It's probably time for a kid, right?" Eddie walked over, smoking a cigarette.

Chris was still watching nearby, the scene being directed by a young man. "Where did you hear that news?"

"If I want to know something, I can find out what someone in the Antarctic is wearing today. Hey, don't be shy, dating is normal." Eddie laughed.

"Let's not talk about that. I have plans." Chris shook his head.

"I can tell. Grooming that guy to be your successor?" Eddie blew a smoke ring.

Chris nodded, "Piers is good material. He comes from a military family and is excellent in all aspects. Working in the BSAA, he will be able to secure a good position even if he returns to active military service later."

"Piers? Pikachu?" Eddie's expression was strange.

"What is Pikachu?" Chris clearly had not watched that kind of cartoon.

"Nothing. If you want to train him, then train him well. By the way, do you still hate bioweapons created by viruses as much as ever?" Eddie asked an unrelated question.

"That depends. If they remain rational, I don't mind viewing them as an entirely new species." Chris's extremist views had improved significantly.

"Perhaps you will face a dilemma in the future. Anyway, let's not talk about that. Didn't the weapons department develop some marine weapons? Bring them along and clear the surrounding sea area. It's time to get Terragrigia running again!" Eddie said, looking at the ruined city in the distance.

"What is the purpose of this suggestion?" Chris was a little confused.

"You don't need to worry about that. I will build the city into an automated factory, a completely new mechanical city that self-cycles and provides energy, prohibiting entry to any outsiders. Without humans, there is no threat." Eddie sneered.

"You truly are a lunatic." Chris shook his head and left. He had never understood his brother-in-law.

After Chris left, Uma wrinkled her delicate nose. "It looks like Uncle just came back from fooling around with some woman last night."

Eddie laughed and patted his daughter's head. "We don't need to worry about other people's business. He isn't married, so it's normal. Terragrigia will be entrusted to your management in the future, so you need to put in extra effort."

Uma nodded proudly. "Of course. And my other older and younger sisters will help me. I want to create a female city, prohibiting men from entering."

It seems Alexia's education was effective. On Excella's side, the daughters had seen too many examples of scummy men. They didn't need to experience it; just seeing it was enough to empathize.

At the same time, having Eddie as a role model meant they didn't hate men entirely. Giving other men the cold shoulder was the bare minimum, and Eddie truly racked his brains to prevent his daughters from being snatched away.

Meanwhile, inside the ship in the underwater ruins, the hatch was repaired and it began to resurface.

A massive cruise ship surfaced once again amidst the ruins of Terragrigia. The ship was covered in barnacles, coral, and seaweed.

The hatch opened, and an eight-foot-tall Tyrant walked out. Its entire face was obscured, showing only one massive eye.

A sound of ventriloquism came through, and many Oozes began walking out of the shipyard, along with the specially mutated Toad Speakers.

Norman recovered a sliver of consciousness. "Gather everyone up! I'm going to destroy this world! Ah!"

The roar echoed far and wide, causing great confusion.

Just then, a phone rang next to Norman.

Norman, who still retained his human memories, picked up the phone, and his goose-foot-like hand pressed the answer button. "Hmm?"

Dawn sat in the WilPharma office. "Is that Lord Norman? I know it was General Morgan who framed you back then. And the Western Federation was behind all of it. I can help you get revenge."

Norman's consciousness was not very clear at the moment; he had only adapted to the Tyrant physique and had not yet reached the point of perfect fusion with the virus, like Sergei. "What do you want?"

"An attack! I can provide you with routes for cruise ships and planes. When you reach the Western Federation, you can freely unleash your fury and destroy the home that Morgan relies on most!" Dawn sneered.

"Haha, you truly are a traitor!" Norman did not refuse; instead, he laughed coldly.

Dawn exhaled cigarette smoke, filling the office with haze. "I'm not a Western Federation citizen; I'm British. I despise the Western Federation. These bloodsuckers—I work hard, but they won't give me the salary I want. I earned them a million, and they only gave me ten thousand. I can't tolerate that!"

Norman nodded. "Very well, I admit you're not a good person. I will cooperate with you."

Chapter 514: Airport Attack, Human Purgatory

Eddie just took a look and prepared to return to the Headquarters Building. He figured he could leave this place for his daughters to handle; his daughters, who were perfectly adapted to T-Phobos, were not worried about being attacked.

Returning to the office area of the building, there was a rest area on the large balcony.

In the rooftop lounge area on the top floor, Madame Taimina was sitting comfortably on a beach chair, basking in the sun, wearing sunglasses, holding a coconut, and smiling as she looked at the scenery.

Dressed in a bikini, her pregnant belly was easily visible. This noble and luxurious woman was actually pregnant!

"Are you comfortable living here?" Eddie walked over and asked.

Taimina nodded. "It's not bad, this place is quite good. Everything is fine, except the little guy sometimes isn't very well-behaved."

Pregnancy had not diminished her charm; she was still noble and luxurious, radiating great maternal brilliance.

"That's good. Rest well, don't overthink things, eat well, drink well, and enjoy yourself. I told you, here, you can find what you desire most: freedom and happiness!" Eddie looked at Taimina, his eyes slightly smug, his heart filled with an inflated sense of vanity.

"Haha, you're quite pleased with yourself, aren't you? Anyway, I'm tired. I need to rest for a while, you go get busy, don't worry about me." Taimina waved her hand and yawned; she had been quite drowsy lately.

"I'll take you out for a stroll later." Eddie laughed. He was always generous toward women.

When he entered the office, a beautiful blonde woman was sitting in the boss's chair. Her skin was like white jade, and one high heel was dangling from her toe.

Eddie was speechless upon seeing her. This beautiful woman was his and Excella's daughter, Shalinluo.

"Little one, why did you come here?" Eddie sat on the sofa and poured a cup of black tea.

Shalinluo said with a radiant smile in her beautiful eyes, "Since you don't use the office, I'll use it then. Is it not allowed? Do you have unspeakable secrets on your computer?"

Eddie rolled his eyes. "I don't even use a computer. Use it if you want. I heard a lot of rich young masters have been pursuing you lately?"

Shalinluo tilted her head haughtily. "Of course! Look whose daughter I am. Hehe, is Daddy jealous?"

"Jealous of what? You used the wrong line. It should be 'concerned'." Eddie had a headache. Unlike Excella's gentle obedience, this daughter was nothing like her mother, always having strange and quirky ideas.
