Chapter 29 - Chapter 29 The Victory

Mayor fell onto his knees.

His hands clasped together as his entire body trembled in fear.

"Please…"

"Don't do anything to my daughter…"

His voice cracked badly.

"I'll do everything you want…"

His fearful gaze remained locked onto Ashura.

Ashura chuckled darkly.

"Hahahaha…"

"Old man…"

"That's a wise choice."

A cold smirk slowly appeared on his lips.

He slowly pulled the gun away from Neha's forehead.

The room remained silent except for Neha's weak muffled breathing.

"So…"

Ashura licked his lips slowly.

"The first thing I want…"

His gaze darkened.

"…remove my name from the blacklist."

The mayor's voice trembled violently.

Tears slipped down his face as he tried to stand up, but his body felt too weak to even move properly.

Every breath hitched painfully in his throat.

"I-I'll do it…"

"I'll do everything…"

"Please…"

His voice completely broke.

"Don't do anything to her…"

"She's my only daughter…"

He desperately clasped his hands together and bowed his head in front of Ashura.

The room felt suffocatingly silent.

Ashura stared at him coldly.

A dark amusement slowly appeared in his eyes as if he was enjoying watching the mayor collapse mentally.

"That's a wise choice…"

He muttered mockingly.

"Otherwise…"

"Your daughter won't see tomorrow morning."

The mayor's lips trembled weakly.

"W-What do I have to do…?"

"Start a live broadcast."

Ashura's voice turned cold like ice.

"And officially declare…"

"…that Ashura Rivaan is no longer on the blacklist."

Then slowly…

He pressed the gun back against Neha's forehead.

The metallic click echoed inside the silent room.

"Understood…?"

His voice sounded genuinely dangerous now.

Deadly.

The mayor screamed in fear.

"I DO!"

"I'LL DO IT!"

"PLEASE DON'T HURT HER!"

His body trembled violently.

"PLZZZZ…!"

"Good boy…"

Ashura smirked coldly.

The room remained frozen in a deadly silence.

Only the weak sound of the mayor's trembling breaths could be heard.

The mayor slowly sat down in front of the table.

His hands shook uncontrollably.

Meanwhile, Ashura calmly held a camera in his hand.

"I'm starting now."

His cold gaze locked onto the mayor.

The mayor coughed softly.

"O-Okay…"

He took a deep breath, trying desperately to calm himself.

"Let's begin…"

His voice trembled badly.

Ashura silently pressed the record button.

A soft click echoed through the room.

The mayor stared into the camera.

"Hello… my civilians…"

His lips trembled.

"I'm here today to announce important news…"

The scene shifted.

Across the city…

People stopped walking.

Some stood outside electronic shops watching the live broadcast through televisions.

Others stared at their phones in confusion.

The atmosphere felt strangely tense.

Inside the Rivaan household…

Rivaan calmly held the remote in his hand while staring at the screen.

"What does this mayor want now…?"

His voice sounded tired.

Ruhi laid lazily on his lap.

"Don't know, daddy…"

She yawned softly.

Shina stared at the television silently.

"It looks like he's going to warn everyone about Ashura again…"

Her teeth clenched slightly.

Avni turned her face away coldly.

"I don't care anymore."

Her voice remained emotionless.

Rishabh held Nyra's hand tightly as she suddenly leaned forward, clutching her stomach painfully.

"Ahhh…"

Nyra muttered weakly.

Her face looked pale as pain filled her trembling voice.

Ruhi stared at her in confusion.

"What happened to didi…?"

Rishabh smiled softly.

"It's a surprise."

"A surprise…?"

Avni glanced at him with confusion written all over her face.

Rivaan suddenly smirked teasingly from behind.

"Maybe something… something…"

"Dad!"

Rishabh puffed his cheeks instantly.

"Don't say it now…"

Nyra slowly raised her head.

"I'm hungry…"

Her voice sounded barely above a whisper.

She gently held her chest while breathing slowly.

Rishabh quickly grabbed her hand carefully and made her sit beside the table.

"Rest here, my dear."

"I'll bring breakfast."

Avni stood up while stretching her arms lazily.

"Wait, bhaiya."

"I'll cook."

Rishabh smiled warmly.

"No worries…"

"Today's breakfast is my treat."

The mayor spoke calmly…

But fear was clearly hidden inside his trembling voice.

"People have been blaming Ashura Rivaan for many days…"

He sighed deeply before continuing.

"But from now on…"

"No one is allowed to target Ashura Rivaan."

The city instantly fell into silence.

Even the reporters standing behind the cameras looked shocked.

The mayor clenched his fists tightly under the table.

"According to official investigation…"

"Ashura Rivaan is innocent."

His lips trembled slightly.

"And anyone who attempts to target or kill him…"

"…will be sentenced to death."

Silence.

Pure silence spread across the city.

Inside the investigation room…

Riyaz slowly lowered the juice bottle from his lips.

"Hahhhh…"

His gaze remained locked onto the television in disbelief.

Arya stepped backward slowly.

Her eyes trembled slightly.

"Ashura… won…?"

Her voice barely came out.

She couldn't believe what she was seeing.

Meanwhile…

Riyaz suddenly chuckled coldly.

"Wow…"

"Really…"

A dangerous grin slowly appeared on his face.

"He won…"

He laughed quietly.

"Damn, Ashura…"

"You really are a worthy opponent."

Inside the Rivaan household…

Rivaan stared at the television speechlessly.

"Ashura… what did you even do…?"

His eyes remained filled with confusion.

Ruhi suddenly covered her mouth with both hands.

Tears slowly rolled down her cheeks.

"He made it…"

Her voice trembled emotionally.

"My brother actually made it…"

Shina smiled softly while staring at the television proudly.

"After all…"

"He is Ashura."

She giggled quietly.

Avni remained silent.

Her shocked gaze stayed fixed on the screen.

"Ashura…"

Her inner voice sounded emotional.

"I didn't think you'd actually pull this off…"

A small smile slowly appeared on her lips.

"Congratulations…"

Rishabh suddenly grabbed the remote happily.

"See, dad?"

"Our Ashura made it."

He smiled proudly.

"Yeah…"

Rivaan nodded slowly.

A proud smile finally appeared on his face.

Nyra smiled softly while staring at the television.

"Looks like even the task force couldn't stop our brother…"

Her tired voice carried quiet pride.

"I'm so proud of him…"

A warm smile slowly appeared on her lips.

Outside…

The streets remained unusually silent.

People stood frozen while staring at their phones in disbelief.

No one knew what to say anymore.

Among the crowd…

Harsh, Yash, and Reyansh stood together silently.

Their gazes remained locked onto the live broadcast.

Shock filled their faces.

Harsh slowly muttered coldly,

"Ashura… actually won…"

Even his smile looked unbelievable.

Reyansh chuckled nervously.

"I thought he needed our help…"

"But he handled everything himself…"

Yash smiled proudly.

"Our Ashura is the greatest…"

His hand trembled slightly as he raised it excitedly.

Harsh lowered his head quietly and sighed.

"Looks like…"

"Ashura can handle everything alone pretty well."

"Yeah…"

Reyansh nodded slowly.

The three silently stared at the screen while the city around them remained frozen in disbelief.

Inside the bar…

Malik slowly sipped his beer while staring at the television calmly.

The dim lights reflected faintly across his cold eyes.

"He said he could clear his name in two days…"

A slow smirk appeared on his lips.

"And it turned out to be true…"

A woman beside him wrapped her arms around Malik's chest softly.

"That boy has potential…"

She whispered near his ear while staring at the screen.

Another woman sitting beside him chuckled softly.

"Yeahhh…"

"That boy looks dangerous for the government…"

"He might actually destroy the Owl Gang properly."

Malik slowly placed the beer glass down onto the table.

"True…"

"My girls…"

His voice sounded strangely calm.

Then his gaze darkened slightly while staring at Ashura's face on the television.

"Ashura Rivaan…"

A mocking smile slowly appeared on his lips.

"…is someone you should never mess with."

The television light flickered silently across the dark bar while everyone around continued watching the live broadcast in silence.

The scene shifted once again.

Emilia suddenly ran inside excitedly while holding her phone tightly.

Her face was filled with uncontrollable happiness.

"Mom!"

"Zara!"

"Asha!"

"Aaron!"

"Riven!"

"Ronan!"

She almost yelled while trying to calm herself down.

"Ashura won!"

Anjali stared at her in confusion.

"Won…?"

"In what exactly?"

Emilia quickly showed the live broadcast on her phone.

The mayor's announcement continued playing loudly.

Aaron's eyes widened slightly in shock.

"He actually defeated the government…"

"How is that even possible…?"

Riven crossed his arms quietly.

"This boy…"

"He's someone we still can't understand."

His voice remained filled with confusion.

Ronan nodded slowly in agreement.

"I agree…"

"Ashura is terrifying."

Zara quietly avoided everyone's gaze.

"Still…"

"He was crying in front of us…"

She puffed her cheeks slightly.

Asha instantly chuckled teasingly.

"Don't tell me you cried too?"

Zara's face instantly turned slightly red.

"I DIDN'T!"

Meanwhile Emilia smiled brightly.

"After all…"

"We should celebrate his victory."

Anjali silently stared at the television for a moment.

Then finally…

A small smile slowly appeared on her lips.

"Ashura won…"

The room slowly filled with a strange warmth while the mayor's announcement continued playing quietly in the background.

Inside the Velryna household…

Aryan silently smoked a cigarette while staring at the television coldly.

"Damn that bastard…"

He exhaled deeply.

"He actually won…"

His expression slowly darkened.

"Looks like…"

"I'll have to take him down myself."

Aryan slowly stood up from the chair.

Crack.

The sound of his bones echoed softly as he stretched calmly.

His gaze remained fixed on the television screen.

"Don't worry, Ashura…"

A cold smile slowly appeared on his lips.

"Your victory won't last long."

He grabbed the car keys from the table and quietly walked outside.

The cigarette smoke slowly disappeared into the darkness behind him.

Meanwhile…

Inside the mayor's residence…

The mayor suddenly grabbed Ashura's knees desperately.

"I did everything you said…"

His voice trembled weakly.

"Now… please release my daughter…"

Ashura silently nodded.

"Go…"

"And save her."

His voice remained emotionless.

The mayor instantly ran toward Neha.

"My girl…!"

He quickly held her tied hands while trembling badly.

Neha's weak muffled cries slowly escaped through the cloth.

Her tear-filled gaze locked onto her father.

"Don't worry…"

"You'll be fine now…"

The mayor muttered desperately.

His shaking hands slowly untied the ropes around her wrists.

Neha cried softly while struggling weakly.

Meanwhile…

Ashura silently stared at them one last time.

Then he sighed deeply.

And quietly walked away into the darkness.

Behind him…

The mayor tightly hugged Neha while crying uncontrollably.

Neha's muffled sobs echoed softly throughout the broken room.
