Chapter 12 - — Ophelia —

So as you all know, the library is where the magic happens here and I know most of you are going to ask yourself " How the fuck is this happening in a library ? A library ? This is so unreal."

Well ladies and gents if I told you what I did in my schools library, you would be perplexed and looking at me with your mouth hung open in shock but then again I was the library prefect and I wasn't doing a good job at that. Everyone pretty much did whatever the fuck they wanted in there.

CHAPTER ELEVEN :

Maude had stormed off rather too dramatically and almost immediately, Iver left not without sending me a glare. I couldn't tell what his problem was with me nor could I bring myself to be concerned.

" You're frowning " Ortons cold hands came up to my lips brushing against them softly " Don't frown "

I was still on his laps. His arm was still wounded tight around my waist, anchoring me to him and preventing me from leaving. To say I was uncomfortable was a massive understatement but what scared me, was how little I loved it and how safe I felt in his huge body.

Ortons blue eyes was locked on my face the entire time making me uncomfortable, flustered, nervous and wondering how he wasn't tired of looking at my plain face yet and why I always felt exposed under his gaze.

" I'm bored " he announced suddenly throwing his head back dramatically.

" Too bad " i murmured flipping the page to my book.

" Let's play 20 questions. " he suggested. I glanced at him catching the way his face lit up in a boyish grin.

" Later, I'm reading " I returned my gaze back to my book.

" Come on small, you can always read later " he groaned. I shook my head my lips twitching as I was tempted to smile.

 " No "

" Don't be such a nerd " I shot him a glare choosing to ignore him, I turned my attention back to my book. I wasn't a nerd. I was always with a book but I wouldn't exactly call a book with two people falling disgustingly in love and having rough sex that were specifically written, educational.

I merely ever read for the entertainment and not for knowledge. That didn't mean I failed my classes. As much as I loved reading, I loathed reading for school. I was an Average Student and that was good enough for me.

" Talk to me Small " his voice dropped an octave and his fingers started poking my face repeatedly. I sent him a glare but his grin only widened.

" You look so cute when you glare." he chuckled pinching my cheeks softly. I swatted his hands away letting out a huff of annoyance. I put down my book and settled back on his chest.

 " Fine let's play "

His arms wrapped tightly around my waist his eyes bubbling with excitement.

" What's your favorite color ? " he queried.

 " Black "

He snorted " That's not a color. That's a shade "

I replied with a shrug. " Mine is Blue "

I couldn't help but roll my eyes. Of course, a typical boy color.

 " What ? " he raised a brow.

" Nothing. " I mumbled " What's your favorite pet ? "

" I'm a cat person. I have one. Her name is lulu "

I couldn't help the laugh that escaped my lips as I looked up at him " You named your cat lulu ? "

He didn't reply right away. He was staring at me in awe. His lips tugged in a small smile. " You should laugh more and yes I thought it was cute "

" You are so weird. " I shook my head

blatantly ignoring his compliment. He continued with thee questions entwining his hand that wasn't on my waist with mine.

" What are you passionate about ?" he added almost immediately " Apart from reading of course "

" Writing " I mumbled my attention returning to the book on my hand. I have never told anyone about my love for writing neither have I showed anyone my work and I was surprised at how easy it was for me to tell him.

" No way " he smiled. " What do you write "

I shrugged in answer.

" I would love to read one of your works if you would let me " I nodded in reply saying nothing.

The game carried on with him openly flirting at any chance he got.

When the bell finally rang, I scrambled off his lap. He let me go reluctantly. I grabbed my things and hurried out of the library with Orton trailing beside me. Once we reached the senior block, I gave him a quick wave and hurried toward my classroom, desperate not to be late.

I made a sharp right down the hall, but before I could reach the door, a hand clamped onto my arm. I was jerked sideways, pulled harshly into an empty classroom, and slammed against the wall.

A gasp and a groan of pain escaped me at the impact. I bit my lip, blinking through the shock to see my attacker.

My breath hitched. It wasn't who I expected.

It was Iver.
