Chapter 21 - Amin's Crisis

Natalie took the documents and handed them to Luis. She already knew all of this and didn't need to look at them. She only cared about whether Luis would like them and how much Amin would quote.

Luis didn't really understand either, but since he was going to buy it, he had to take a look.

"This is a detached villa, with a separate swimming pool and private garden. The usable area is 898 square meters, with two floors, six bedrooms, three living rooms, and three bathrooms. I spent nearly 400,000 on the renovation. The current market price is 2,200 per square meter. Including the renovation, I'm giving you 2.2 million because of Mrs. Natalie influence. Is that a good price?"

Amin quoted a price.

Luis, who was looking at the floor plan, gasped when he heard the price. 2.2 million! If it were calculated the same as last night, it would take him five years of not eating or drinking to afford such a villa!

He was satisfied with the villa's layout and other aspects, but the price was really giving him a headache.

Natalie did the math in her head and realized that it was indeed much lower than the market price if it was only 2.2 million. Moreover, Amin's villa was renovated last year, and she had even gone out for a meal there.

Natalie had been paying attention to Luis expression and knew that he was quite satisfied with the villa.

"Since you're doing this for my sake, why not round it down to zero?" Natalie said with a smile.

Amin laughed and said, "Mrs. Natalie, if I put this house on the market for less than 2.4 million, I absolutely will not sell it. I only gave you 2.2 million because of you. Now you want to cut another two hundred thousand. My heart can't take it."

"Mr. Amin, I don't have your wealth, and you want to pay in full. This price is below market price, but it's still difficult to sell a house that has already been listed in for more than 2 million."

Natalie smiled faintly.

There are people who can afford to spend over 2 million to buy a house, but there are very few people who can afford to spend over 2 million to buy a second-hand house.

People with that kind of wealth wouldn't want to live in a second-hand house.

Amin was naturally aware of this, which is why he directly reduced the price by 200,000.

"Mrs. Natalie, this price is absolutely fair. Besides, I've only stayed at this villa once before, when I treated you to dinner last time. Everything inside is practically brand new."

Amin took a sip of wine.

Just as Natalie was about to continue speaking, Luis reached out and stopped her. She gave him a questioning look, but obediently stopped haggling with Amin.

"Mr. Amin, Sister Natalie only introduced me as her younger brother, but didn't mention what I do."

Luis smiled and said, "Let me introduce myself. I learned some skills from others when I was young, so I can help people turn bad luck into good. If I can help Mr. Amin avoid an impending loss, how about I get this house at a low price?"

Upon hearing this, Amin frowned, glanced at Natalie, and saw that she was sitting quietly to the side without saying a word.

He then looked at the confident Luis and said with displeasure, "Mr. Luis, you're not going to say that I'm going to have some kind of misfortune that needs to be resolved immediately, and that you can help me resolve this matter, are you?"

If Natalie hadn't been there and knew some of her background, Amin might have already gotten up and left. He was in the construction business, and sometimes he did need to hire people to perform rituals or put on a show.

But that doesn't mean he believes in these things. In his view, they are all fake. Sometimes he needs to do this to reassure others and to put on a good show.

Faced with the questions, Natalie remained calm, wanting to see how Luis would handle them.

Luis smiled faintly, "That's right, Mr. Amin, you are indeed going to face a lot of trouble. If you don't resolve it immediately, you will encounter the biggest crisis in your history."

"I'll help you resolve this. I'll sell your villa to you at a low price, and I'll only pay 20% upfront, with the rest in installments."

"What a joke. What makes you think I'll be in danger? What makes you think you can solve it?" Amin stopped laughing, leaned back in his chair, and narrowed his eyes slightly.

"Because I have the ability!" Luis sat up straight and spoke with a firm and powerful voice.

"Then tell me, what kind of crisis will I encounter? If you're right, great; if you're wrong..." Amin squinted at Natalie.

"Mrs. Natalie, don't say I'm disrespecting you. There are still many people being scammed these days. Don't blame me for being rude to him later."

Natalie smiled gently, "That won't do. Luis is my brother. If you're rude to him, you're definitely being rude to me. But you don't have that chance anyway. I trust him."

Luis glanced at Natalie and laughed, "Mr. Amin, if I hadn't taken a liking to your villa, I really wouldn't have told you. And I'm only doing this because of my sister. Otherwise, based on what you just said, I would have turned around and left."

Seeing Natalie's defense and Luis arrogant words, Amin's anger was clearly visible. He took a deep breath and said, "Young man, you're not old, but you've got quite the nerve. You can talk, I'm listening."

He had already decided that once Luis made a mistake, even if it offended Natalie, he would teach Luis a lesson. Moreover, exposing someone's pretense to their face might even make Natalie grateful to him.

He is an middle aged man.... not some young man who falls in love.

He had no romantic feelings for Natalie, but he was very interested in the network of relationships behind her.

In fact, as Luis just said, if it weren't for Natalie's sake or his need for the villa, he would have turned around and left long ago, given Amin's impoliteness.

If others don't believe you, that's their business; if you don't want to help, that's your own business too.

There's no need to beg others to believe in you.

Luis looked at Amin. In fact, he had just checked Amin's fortune and knew that he was about to face a great disaster.

Fortune: Excellent.

This proves that Amin could earn a minimum of 10 million and a maximum of 100 million dollars in wealth during his lifetime.

Luck: Moderate.

His financial fortune is excellent, but his luck in good fortune is only average. This indirectly proves that Amin is not able to hold onto his wealth. Moreover, his luck in good fortune is fluctuating, which also proves that he is about to face one of the biggest crises in his life. If he survives it, his luck in good fortune may not necessarily increase, but if he fails to survive it, his luck in good fortune will definitely decrease.

If his rank drops to the lower-middle level, Amin might not even be able to spend his later years.

This is why Luis said he is currently facing a huge crisis.

Focus your mind on your fortune, and suddenly a line of small characters appears.

At 2:18 PM, a major accident will occur at the construction site, resulting in five deaths and nine injuries, with estimated property losses of 5 million.

He then focused his mind on good fortune, and a line of small characters began to appear.

At 2:18 PM, he will face charges of murder and imprisonment will be inevitable.

If Amin hadn't happened to run into Luis this time, his life would have been over because of this crisis.

After watching for a while, Luis closed his eyes and pretended to pinch a few times with his fingers.

Amin looked at Luis with a cold smile. All swindlers are like this, they like to put on airs. He would wait and see what Luis would say.

Natalie looked at Luis profile, a hint of relief in her eyes. She knew that Luis didn't need to pretend like this; he could tell other people's fates at a glance. But now, Luis was clearly taking her advice to be more low-key.

After closing his eyes for a while, Luis opened them and stared straight at Amin. "Mr. Amin, you're in the construction engineering business, right?"

"Mr. Amin, if you're going to face imprisonment, what kind of serious incident would it have to happen?"

Amin's heart skipped a beat. In the construction industry, the worst thing is that someone might die. This would not only delay the construction period but also result in a large amount of compensation. If he was unlucky, he might even face a lawsuit.

"Speak clearly! No need for this mystical act!" Amin squinted.

"I've calculated that you, Mr. Amin, will soon face imprisonment. You are a businessman, a successful businessman, and a businessman in the construction industry. Considering that you are in the construction industry, if you are to go to jail, it can only be because of a death or injury on a construction site."

"Impossible!" Amin immediately retorted. Although what Luis said earlier was frightening, he had been investigating very strictly these past few days, and it was basically impossible for any accidents to happen.

"Don't worry, it will happen soon, around three o'clock. Just wait and see the result," Luis said calmly.

It's already a little past 1 p.m., and only an hour and a half has passed since the incident occurred. In another half hour, everyone will naturally know.

Amin stared at Luis, his eyes filled with doubt and uncertainty. Whether it was true or false, as the saying goes, the worst thing in engineering is injury or death. Even if he didn't believe it, he still didn't have any confidence in his heart.
