James's POV
It was finally time for training. The school games were getting closer, and everyone was excited. I met William outside the sports building. He looked a little nervous but also determined. I gave him a friendly pat on the back.
"Ready for this?" I asked.
William nodded. "Yeah. Let's do it."
We walked together into the changing room. The moment we stepped inside, the whole room changed. The alphas and betas who were already there stopped talking. Some of them turned to look at us. Whispers started spreading quickly. I could hear them clearly.
"Is that the omega?"
"What is he doing here?"
Laughter came from a few corners. Some of the guys looked William up and down like he didn't belong. I felt my jaw tighten. William stayed quiet beside me, but I could see his shoulders were a little stiff.
