Reporters rush to convey the shocking news: "A 13-year-old boy is being questioned by police in connection with the brutal murder of a family of four in their home last night. Details are still emerging, but sources indicate the boy may have been known to the victims.
The camera cuts to a live shot outside the police station, where a reporter says, "The motive behind the killings is still unclear, and investigators are working to piece together the events leading up to the tragedy. The boy's age has added a disturbing layer to this already horrific crime."
As the reporter speaks, Detective Karen Rodriguez pushes through the crowd, her expression stern and focused. She's flanked by two officers as she enters the station, ignoring shouted questions from the press.
Inside, Karen steps into the interrogation room, her eyes locking onto the 13-year-old boy seated across the table. He's small for his age, looking shocked and dazed in the chair. The boy's gaze flicks up to meet hers, and for a moment, they just stare at each other.
The door closes behind Karen.

She sat down on the chair across Kevin.
"Kevin tell me everything that happened last night" , Karen said firmly, " Who did that to your friend and his family? ".
Kevin eyes still locked in hers , out of shock he kept on biting his nails.

Suddenly Kevin stopped biting on his nails "Why would I do that ? He was my only friend...! Is it because people from that neighborhood told you that I am weird and I am kind of mental? Even if I was not in my right mind i would never do that to my friend.... " Kevin was out of breath,his eyes bloodshot.
He was angry and not sad , he was in full rage.
He told something but his eyes told a different story . Karen was calm and composed but there was a lot of things going on her head, she was basically searching the truth from his behaviour.
"If it isn't you then why don't you tell me what happened last night?" Karen asked expecting an answer this time .
"I don't remember... " Kevin said , massaging his forehead with his left hand as if trying to remember something, "All I know is that Lucas invited me for dinner , we went to his room for freshing up , and his cousins came so he went to greet them and I was alone in the room , due to tiredness and boredom , I fell fast asleep and when I woke up and went to the kitchen there was the whole family, they were cold and dead "
Karen frowned 'Does he thinks that whatever he says we will believe it ? ' she thought.
"Then why did you stay alive ? Why weren't you killed to? How is it that you were spared?" Karen asked.
" Officer Karen do you want me dead because I was spared and not killed? " Kevin asked .
Karen sighed "I never meant that, anyways what was that stone that you were carrying when the cops found you ? (Not me...) What does that mean ? Kevin you know something don't you tell me or else ,since all the evidences points towards you , we can arrest you ".
Kevin's legs went numb but his calm face never showed a slight emotion of fear or guilt, cause that was how he was built ever since he was very young.
" I say the man who had previously murdered a whole family. The man who was shown all over the NEWS Yesterday. He has escaped and killed another family" Kevin said.
" Then why did you not tell me earlier about the existence of that extra person?"Karen asked but this time Kevin did not answer back and continued biting of his nails.
She stood up ,since he refused to talk anymore but kept murmuring that he wasn't the one who killed his friend.
She walked out of the interrogation room "What do you think ?" Officer Adam (He is also working in this case ) .
They looked at Kevin from the mirror "All the evidences points at him but I don't see any motive to kill his friend, plus he claims that he did not kill them. Anyway , what about the man who is in a run after killing a whole family previously ?" Karen said and looked at Adam.
His lips were curled up as if he was happy about something but he was trying his best to hide it .
"Officer Adam, are you happy about something? There is nothing wrong to be happy if something is good." Karen said firmly and went away to her office ." Drake and Adin come with me to the murder spot."
There were many people gathered around the house, the forensic department had already started their work .
Karen and her team arrived at the scene . A tall young man approached her , his face covered with a surgical mask . "Karen! Finally you arrived. You wouldn't respond to my call after receiving information of Kevin's fingerprints being found everywhere. " He said amiably.
She checked her phone ' Two missed calls' and sighed ." I had a meeting with the last survivor of the scene , Henry".
"Do you think that the boy is the culprit?If so then there is something that I want you to know. Look"
Henry said showing her the thing that might help her in the case.
"A hair?" Karen said in confusion,"Well I know that you might not know the reason for me to show you this strand of hair but let me just tell you this that it doesn't belong to anyone in the room that were said to be present here last night " Henry said.
A strand of brownish black hair .'That means Kevin was telling the truth? But I cannot jump into a conclusion right away.Then why would the culprit not kill him' Karen thought,there were still many holes to fill until they found the truth.
Henry looked at Karen who was engrossed in her thoughts." So what about the thing that I asked?" he asked expecting a good news and smiled.
"Are you serious? It's not the time to do those stuffs so for now just focus on the case"Karen angrily said, suddenly he remembered something and rushed out of the scene.
The two officers that came with Karen looked at him dumbfounded. "What are you guys looking at?She is just stressed out,ok!. Don't look at me as if I was scolded!" Henry said nonchalantly.
Drake smirked and patted on his shoulder "It's ok bro,we know ,tough life running after women" he said and looked at Adin .
"I warn you , don't you dare laugh at me !" Henry said , but both Drake and Adin burst into laughter.
