Angela had been lying on the ground for a while now.
Once she had calmed down a bit,
She stood up and started patting off the layers of dirt on her body.
Angel watched her silently and then smiles.
"Hey, you look like a dirty rat. You know that, right? Everything is messy."
Angela looks at her.
"I could say the same thing to you. You're just as dirty as me."
They both laugh.
After a moment of silence,
Angel looks up and signals toward Camera 435,
Who she has personally nicknamed Bobby.
"Bobby, can you come down here for a second?" Angel calls.
Bobby flinches at the sound of Angel's voice,
But needing to follow orders,
He slowly makes his way down.
Angel notices the reluctance and walks toward him,
Clearly intending to tease him.
She reaches out to grab his metal body,
But Bobby swiftly flies back,
Just enough that she misses him by a hair.
When Angel realizes that,
The smile on her face disappears,
And she returns to a serious expression.
"Well, Bobby," she says, "we need a mirror to see what we currently look like."
Bobby, clearly confused, scans Angel.
Bobby pauses.
He scans Angel again,
Slower this time.
Angel is someone who really appreciates cleanliness.
She is precise, controlled, and disciplined.
On missions, getting dirty is normal, and she never complains about that.
But outside of missions, she strongly prefers to remain clean and put together.It is one of the many small rules she lives by.
Yet right now, she is covered in dust from head to toe, her clothes dirty, her hair messy, and she is not reacting at all.
She is not angry.
She is not irritated.
She is not even complaining.
Bobby did not understand.
Based on Angel's personality profile, she should be at least somewhat bothered by her current state.
She should be demanding a cleaning unit, new clothes, or at the very least showing visible annoyance.
But she does none of that.
Instead, she is calm.
Relaxed, Even.
Laughing?
Bobby's lens shifts slightly toward Angela.
Then back to Angel.
He pauses his scan for half a second longer, as if processing something.
Conclusion:
The reason Angel is not reacting to her current condition is most likely Angela.
Bobby does not say this out loud.
Instead, he finishes the scan and projects the mirror.
But while he is doing that,
Angel reaches out again and grabs him swiftly,
This time before he can move away,
Pulling him into her embrace and making him dirty as well.
Bobby, who was clearly not happy about this hug and tried to escape from her arms.
Angel just pated his head, the smooth silver surface hard under her hand.
Angel and Angela, then both walked over to the mirror.
They both stare at their reflection and realize they really do look like a pair of dirty rat siblings.
