Chapter 181 - God Eye Vs Primordeus

Suddenly—

The Olsen Crystal began glowing once more.

Its golden light grew brighter and brighter until the entire Grand Lab was illuminated.

Everyone looked toward it.

"...What?"

Without warning, the crystal floated into the air.

Whoosh!

It shot out of the laboratory at incredible speed, disappearing into the distance.

Noxus frowned for the first time.

"...Where is it going?"

She quickly turned her attention back to the group.

"It doesn't matter."

She raised her hand.

A cube of green auris formed above her palm before unleashing a massive beam.

Boom!!

The beam slammed into the ground.

A violent explosion tore through the Grand Lab, throwing debris in every direction.

Everyone barely managed to avoid the blast.

Yin struggled to his feet and shouted,

"Stop it, Noxus!"

"You're going to destroy all of us..."

"...including yourself!"

He pointed toward the overflowing auris surrounding her.

"That power is far too powerful!"

Noxus looked at him with a cold smile.

"I don't care, hon."

She slowly raised her hand again.

"After I deal with them..."

"...I'll deal with you next."

Another glowing orange cube formed in her palm.

The energy inside it pulsed violently.

"Now..."

"Disappear."

Boom!

A second orange beam erupted from the cube, racing toward the heroes as the Grand Lab shook under the overwhelming power of the Primordeus auris.

Noxus slowly turned her head.

Her glowing eyes locked onto Rin.

He was kneeling beside Maxwell, trying to free him from the collapsed wall.

Rin strained with all his strength.

"Are you even helping?"

Maxwell gritted his teeth as he pushed against the rubble.

"I am pushing it!"

Noxus smiled.

"...Found you."

She raised the glowing auris cube and aimed it directly at them.

The energy inside it intensified.

Boom!

An orange beam shot straight toward Rin and Maxwell.

Rin's eyes widened.

"...Oh, crap!"

Just before the beam reached them—

Whoosh!

A figure wearing a blue scarf appeared in front of them.

Shing!

The newcomer drew his sword in one smooth motion.

Slash!

The orange beam split cleanly in half, the two halves flying harmlessly past them before exploding behind.

Boom!

Rin stared in disbelief.

"...Saito!"

Saito kept his sword raised, his eyes fixed on Noxus.

"Take everyone out of here."

Yin stepped forward immediately.

"Saito!"

"She's too powerful."

"It's not just the Primordeus power."

"She also has all those enhancements from her own experiments."

Saito nodded without taking his eyes off Noxus.

"Got it."

"But all of you..."

"...need to get out of here."

At that moment, Lily appeared at the laboratory entrance.

"This way!"

Rin quickly helped Maxwell onto his feet.

"Come on."

Bomb, Fanny, and Alya followed close behind as they headed for the exit.

Saito looked toward Yin.

"You need to leave with them."

Yin shook his head.

"...I'm not going anywhere."

He ran toward the main control panel.

"I'll find a way to shut this down."

Saito gave a short nod.

"...Got it."

A brilliant light erupted from his eyes.

"God Eye... Seraph."

The divine spear with wings appeared within his pupils as radiant streams of light unfolded behind him.

Across the room, Noxus smiled.

"That God Eye..."

"...won't help you, Blue Scarf."

Saito calmly raised his sword.

"...Then let's find out."

The Grand Lab fell silent as the two faced each other, preparing for their final clash.

Far above the battlefield...

The Olsen Crystal streaked across the sky like a golden comet.

It flew over forests...

Past mountains...

Until it finally arrived above Dan Village.

The crystal hovered silently over the village for a brief moment.

Then—

Whoosh!

It shot downward.

The crystal slipped through the window of a quiet hotel and entered one of the rooms.

Inside, Olsen sat alone at a desk.

His eyes were closed.

The crystal floated toward him before slowly merging into his body.

A brilliant golden light erupted from his chest.

For a few seconds, the entire room was illuminated.

Then the light faded.

Olsen slowly opened his eyes.

His pupils glowed with a golden light.

A faint smile appeared on his face.

"...Looks like the tide has turned."

He calmly stood up from his chair.

Without another word, he walked toward the door.

Click.

The door opened.

Olsen stepped out of the hotel, his expression calm as he headed toward whatever awaited him next.

Inside the Grand Lab, the battle continued.

Noxus raised her hand.

A blazing orange beam erupted toward Saito.

Boom!

Saito disappeared just before it struck.

The beam blasted through the laboratory, leaving a trail of destruction behind.

He landed on a broken platform and immediately looked toward Noxus.

His eyes began to glow.

The symbol of Seraph shone brightly within his pupils.

"...Divine Spear."

A massive spear of radiant light formed above the laboratory.

Its golden glow illuminated the entire room.

With a wave of Saito's hand—

Whoosh!

The Divine Spear shot toward Noxus.

Noxus didn't move.

Her own eyes glowed with a fierce yellow-orange light.

She calmly raised one hand.

The Divine Spear suddenly stopped in midair.

Saito's eyes widened.

"...What?"

The spear trembled for a moment...

Then dissolved into countless particles of light.

Noxus smiled.

"I already told you..."

"...your God Eye is useless against me."

Saito lowered his sword slightly.

"...Maybe."

He tightened his grip.

"But it's all I've got."

Without hesitation, he rushed forward.

Shing!

His sword swept toward Noxus.

She effortlessly floated backward, avoiding the slash.

At the same time, she fired another auris beam.

Boom!

Saito twisted his body and narrowly dodged it.

Noxus then activated the device built into her arm.

Click... Click... Click...

Hidden compartments around the Grand Lab opened one after another.

Mechanical guns emerged from every corner of the laboratory.

Their barrels rotated toward Saito.

Target locked.

Saito slowly looked around.

"...Oh."

The guns opened fire.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Bullets rained from every direction.

Saito dashed across the laboratory, leaping between broken machinery while avoiding the relentless barrage.

As he dodged another burst, he shouted,

"Yin!"

"Maybe this is the best time to shut that thing down!"

Yin was still working frantically at the control panel.

His fingers flew across the buttons and switches.

"Patience, gangster!"

"I'm working on it!"

He pressed another series of controls as alarms continued echoing throughout the Grand Lab.

Noxus noticed Yin was still working at the control panel.

Her expression immediately changed.

"...No."

Without another word, she shot toward him.

Whoosh!

She raised her hand.

An orange auris cube formed instantly.

"Yin!"

Saito's eyes widened.

"No!"

Noxus fired.

Boom!

The orange beam raced across the Grand Lab before crashing directly into Yin's position.

BOOM!!

A violent explosion engulfed the control panel.

The blast shattered nearby machines and sent debris flying through the laboratory.

Smoke filled the entire area.

Saito clenched his teeth.

"Hold on!"

As the dust slowly settled...

A figure was thrown across the floor.

Thud.

Yin rolled several times before coming to a stop.

His glasses had fallen off, and his body lay motionless on the cracked floor.

"...Yin."

Saito stared at him in shock.

Across the room, Noxus slowly lowered her hand.

She looked silently at Yin's unconscious body.

For a brief moment...

She didn't move.

The Grand Lab became eerily quiet, broken only by the sound of damaged machines still humming in the background.
